Slight wait to get seated; half of the restaurant was closed so we were seated near the front door which wouldn’t close properly, letting in a continuous draft. Tea was nice and refreshing, service on point, however the custard with the dessert was not hot enough. All in all a reasonable dessert.

I was at Heavenly deserts today and it was quite an experience. The outdoor heaters are brill! It was chilly tonight but it felt snug. Visited Saturday with my partner and friend. Really enjoyed the visit! The desserts were absolutely lovely, but honestly the best thing was the lady waitress. She was so funny, friendly and amazing. My partner is a huge wind up, she took it all in stride and gave back as good as she got, she was brilliant. My partner also has alot of allergies, she brought out a folder that corresponded to the menu, showing allergies for each meal. Such a simple but effective thing.

Good shop for cakes and coffee. It is clean and friendly. A bit on expensive side. If you are bringing your child sit indoors, as people outside smoke so don't endure second hand smoke. Good to visit on a sunny day, it reminds me of the European caffees. Recommended for visit.

The most fiyah 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 dessert place in Derby, in my humble opinion. The Vegan and gluten free menu succeeds all expectations as you are spoilt for choice. The staff are friendly and professional and the venue is clean and well presented; there's a lot of seating available both indoors and outside, it's only advised to book for groups of 6+ for this reason.

Ordered a tiramisu... tastes nothing like a tiramisu should. Disappointed beyond measure. 😭 it lacked the right texture and taste a tiramisu should have, would've been better off ordering a crepe or waffle. Also, ordered a vanilla milkshake and they came back with a coffee flavoured milkshake?

Good concept not great delivery. Seated relatively quickly but a long wait to take our order and another group who came after us were served first although had asked waitress to take our order. 1 person on the floor wasn't enough to serve everybody and clean the tables and seat people. I noticed at least 4 groups leave in frustration without being served and people turned away although there was a free table. Suggest 2 people on the floor on a busy Saturday night as for one person too much to deliver great customer service. It took about an hour from arriving to receiving the pudding. Over half an hour to be served. Nice decor, good selection (may benefit from reducing the menu by focusing on the best sellers). Food was nice when it came and staff were pleasant and toilets clean.

Truly a heavenly experience! Amazing choice of desserts from an impressive desserts only menu plus a different featured ones that are promoted regularly. All made to perfection and to impress. The cookie dough with strawberries and chocolate sauce is mouthwatering and the chocolate fondue is a fabulous choice for sharing! Highly recommended.

The customer service experienced here was pretty good, neither me nor my wife could complain. We were greeted and seated by a pleasant waiter who smiled, bantered and communicated with us without being overbearing, patronising and annoying. He was pretty good. Unfortunately, the table we were seated at had what appeared to be dried mud all over the floor, like a football team had been bought in after a match in their football boots or something. It was an absolute mess under our table and it made me uncomfortable. The desserts themselves came out and were really morish. I ordered a cookie milkshake which went down a treat, a secret sensations american waffle with a side of whipped cream and a lotus biscoff sundae. The sundae was okay. I wouldn't have it again. The waffle was fantastic with nice golden crispy edges. My only gripe was the wait for the whipped cream. White chocolate dries and hardens quicker than normal milk chocolate, so the priority had to be to enjoy the waffle first. I'd already had three quarters of it by the time the cream was brought over to me. Overall, a decent experience. I'm not writing off going again and hope my next visit will be a better one. Edit: I've upped the stars. Been back a couple of times since my initial review and I have to say it was a lot cleaner. Pretty busy but we were still accommodated. There was a lot of things that were off the menu both times, but as I got what I wanted I could not complain.

I think it depends on the hours when visiting for when the service is at it's best. I ordered a red velvet cheesecake and I had to tip the waiter Runako who amongst his colleagues managed to pull through! I've seen other reviews complaining about this employee but if you're just a terrible customer don't expect everyone to put up with your lack of decency. On a side note, the dessert was great!

Love this place. I live around 20 minutes from Derby and I'll come here specifically! Tried the cookie dough, which is my favourite, the crepes and waffles. The food was the only thing good about the experience. We arrived at the Heavenly Desserts Restaurant with a warm welcome. We waited 15mins before we had a chance to order the food only until I myself went up to the counter and requested to order. After ordering we had a 25min wait for drinks and a 30min wait for food to arrive. After we took our food order inconveniently The Oven all of a sudden "was broken".

The bananas on the crepe were really hard as if they've previously been frozen. They also had a funny taste. The desserts were highly disappointing and not worth the £15 spent on them but the service was great.

Visited Friday 18th June as part of a family evening out to treat our two young daughters. HD was recommended to us as a place to try. We were greeted by Saf and looked after Saf throughout our visit. Can't fault the service at all, Saf was brilliant and very knowledgable regarding the various desserts on offer and nothing was too much trouble. If you have a sweet tooth or just want to try not the usual type of desserts it's worth a visit.

Only one issue is that it can take a while for someone to give you menus and then come around to take your order. If you have time to chill and kick back this is the place to be. In a hurry? You are going to have to chase the staff to get your desserts promptly.

Staff extremely polite and helpful especially the guy with the top knot and the accent... I want to say Italian?? will visit again and again and would recommend to everyone. Side note: I don't really like sweet stuff much but since they don't throw sugar all over everything, it's great munch for sweet and savoury lovers.

The food is good, the staff are welcoming and polite. I ordered tea with a dessert and the waitress brought a cup of hot water and a teabag sitting along side on the tray. To make a decent cup of tea, you simply pour boiling water onto the tea and let it brew a few minutes. They can't MAKE tea but they certainly know how to charge for it. in spite of the good things, wont be back.

We went here and were met by staff who seated you and explained the menu to us all. The desserts were amazing and service was very good. I would only criticise the venue looks very tired now and the toilets were not the best. So could do with some basic upgrades. But great place to eat desserts.

The menu range here is very good and the staff a friendly and welcoming. Two big improvements need to be made though: 1. Hire more wait staff, yes they will be just hanging around most of the time but availability of waiters/waitresses is important - having to call for service is bad for a sit down restaurant. The Bristol market is so saturated that improved service will probably be the best way to gain competitive advantage. 2. Halve the amount of sugar in your ice cream and sauces. Everything is far, far too sweet here. You may think that buying in your chocolate sauces and fruit syrups is ok but it isn't, make them yourself to improve the quality. Other than that this is definitely a place to go for dessert.

It's just something about it that I'm not keen on, the atmosphere never is quite friendly enough, and the staff seem to change as frequently as I change my socks, I've never seen the same member of staff in any of my visits and I know there's such a thing as shift patterns but I've been there a fair few times and in that time I would expect to see a face I'd recognise. In the beginning also you were facing quite a wait for 1) service 2) The food and 3) the bill. And when you go to the counter you are quite firmly told it is a waiting service and to return to your seat. Almost worthy of a dine and dash

I asked if I could have another one and was happy to give the original one back. But the lady said there was nothing she could do. I did get a refund from deliveroo who she did advise me to contact.Next time I ordered I asked if they could make sure there was a topping on there. And he said that won't happen again. And my dessert was lovely abd had lots of topping on. I just hope that I don't have to ring up everytime i order.

It's an amazing place to sit and relax. They got waitress always with smile nice and polited. In the summer they served your drink with glass with ice and water! They got an free wi-fi . Always good to sit and drink a cup of coffee or a nice milk shake! Enjoy guys! Highly recommended!!!
