Since we arrived just a few mines before the Cafe shuts down, we unfortunately could not dine in. However, we took the cheesecake to go and it was unreal how delicious it was. It was very unique in taste because of the cheese, hazelnut and white chocolate each carrying a distinct note yet blending so playfully in the mouth. The texture was lovely as well. The staff was very courteous and warm.

I took my husband to Cakes and Bubbles as part of his birthday treat. The cafe is beautifully designed and highly sophisticated with a lovely ambience. We were seated at our table and looked after by lovely staff who were friendly and highly professional. The food and service were delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the world go by from the lovely table we had been seated at. The food was delicious and they even served up a surprise birthday treat. I’d definitely return and take friends and family there. It’s simply perfect!

Came here for afternoon tea on our wedding day (22nd Feb) and could not have had a better experience. The food was so far beyond what we had even dared dream it would be. The chocolate corks and pistachio baklava pillows were incredible, and would each contend to be among the best desserts I'd ever had if they hadn't been followed by the cheesecake. The cheesecake! A mere Google review could never do it justice, it deserves a poet. Everything I've ate since tastes like ash in comparison, truly it is the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. To top it off, the staff were so kind, informative, friendly and overly generous, our waiter gave us an additional course, wine, and even a little bag of treats to take away to help make our day even more incredible. Everything about the experience was above and beyond. I cannot recommend Cake and Bubbles highly enough. Outstanding food and outstanding service, we will be making sure to come back at every possible opportunity.

My partner and I were excited for our visit, as we're both dessert lovers. There were some highlights and disappointments with our visit; we ordered 4 different desserts, the golden flan egg and crispy air pancake were delicious and very well executed, however the rose and 'after eight' didn't hit the mark. We expected there to be more to it than just a teaspoon of subtle flavoured jelly in the middle. The staff were friendly but didn't seem overly knowledgeable on the menu, we had to request a drinks menu, our simple order came out incorrect and we were asked if we'd like water, then to be charged £6 for a bottle without being informed. Good concept overall, but could be better for the price. It will be a one-off visit for us.

THE CHEESECAKE & GOLDEN EGG FLAN @📍 @cakesandbubbleslondon Thoughts 💭 A fantastic venue oozing luxury but without the pretentiousness. The cheesecake was light and moussey - it had Brie in it so it’s super creamy and the hazelnut and white chocolate casing was absolutely fantastic 😍 we were huge fans of a very unique spin on cheesecake! The egg flan presentation was stunning and the most important part was delicious. The desserts are on the pricier side but worth it for the experience. We only came for the two cakes but from reviews they are definitely the best selection. .

A beautiful place with excellent desserts. I tried the Cheese Cake and Rose desserts and really loved it. They were all delicious and not too sweet. The staff were really helpful and accommodating when I visited with my baby. A high chair was offered and space was cleared for the pram. I highly recommend Cakes & Bubbles for a special treat.

The service was excellent from start to finish. The club sandwich was very nice, the steak baguette also very good, although I couldn't feel the dijon mustard mayonnaise, but that's fine as a selection of sauces were brought to the table so I could add more. The chips cooked in clean oil which is always nice. The cakes and bubbles famous dessert selection was very nice, my favourite was the golden egg and chocolate Cork, my partner loved the baklava one. We both enjoyed the cheesecake, we only wished they had some available for take away but sadly didn't. Nice location too. 👌 we would definitely go back.

I’ve been there only once and had the crispy air pancake and a small chocolate raspberry meringue. They were to die for. The pancake was such a different concept. It was crispy on the outside and light and creamy on the inside. Comes with a fruit compote made with pure fruit, no added sugar from what o could tell and it was just delicious. The chocolate strawberry meringue was delicious too. So light and delicate. It’s on the pricey side but understandable because the desserts were as good as any desert I had in Michelin starred restaurants. Will definitely go back.

I was finding the place to treat my self and luckily got this place on Piccadilly circus street which made my birthday on next level with just bites of two pillows. Food was spectacular, the mash potato was so smooth and buttery absolut perfection. If your coming for lunch for dinner, def make space for dessert the baklava was amazing, and the palette cleanser such a unique experience. Unbelievable cheesecake. So good I travelled in from Hackney with a two month old baby, just to pick two up for dessert tonight. This is a real experience. You can tell that Albert Adriá has worked as pastry chef at some of the best restaurants in the world. A real experience of clever flavours and presentation from start to finish. And an absolute bargain at £36 for the afternoon tea menu, considering how much other hotels charge. Cakes and Bubbles is a really high-end cafe located in the heart of London. They have a very limited curated selection of desserts. We ordered the "cheesecake" and the chocolate hazelnut cake. The cheesecake is nothing like you have ever had before! The cheesecake was rich decadent and so unique with a great mix of flavours. The service was excellent and the ambience and interiors are super posh. If you ever want to treat yourself to some really extravagant desserts, this is the place for you!

Classy place with amazing high cuisine style cakes. Most cakes will blow your mind with amazing textures and flavours. We found the cheesecake a bit too sweet at the end though. It's pretty expensive, but the place is elegant and the service excellent. Quite an experience, worth every pound.

This was our first time visiting a Dessert champagne bar concept store and the experience was truly 1st class and one of a kind.🏅 First store out of Barcelona open here in London, Low in sugar with healthy ingredients, these desserts are creative works of art by one of the worlds finest pastry chef's Albert Adrià ,Originating from a 3star Michelin rating. We tried The frozen coconut and chocolate flower, cooled with liquid nitrogen to maintain the shape and design of this dessert. My first time drinking a shot from a rose🌹 that was a very unique experience. And the famous Cheese cake served from the legendary restaurant Tickets in Barcelona, a sticking balance of sweet and savory, hazel nut with white chocolate 'rind, an intriguing dessert for any cheese lover with a sweet tooth, MUST TRY. We loved the extra touches to customer service like the Specialist staff for the wine menu he was very accommodating. Staff automatically refill your drinks when they get to low. This place is well designed, Warm comforting colour palette beautiful ambient lighting and inviting just from sitting on the inside, looking out in to regent's street it gets alot of attention in this location, we learnt so much about the history of Café Royal as one of Londons Legends since 1865. We also loved the Classic jazz sound tracks at the most perfect level of volume, you can actually have a good conversation and listen to music at the same time seamlessly. The pictures on Google maps doesn't do this place no justice u NEED to experience it for your self. Would we come back here again? Ofcourse Highly recommend for local tourists, Londoners, romantic dates, business meetings and social occasions. It's been an honour Well done Cakes & Bubbles ⭐

The place is lovely, the staff is amazing...well, except the doorman who wasn't very warm on letting me enter the place, and stopped me asking if I had a reservation. Had the set menu, The chocolate flower, chocolate cork were great. I wasn't too happy with the Pomelo salad. Personally I find the taste of pomelo a bit too strong and the taste lingered at the back of my tongue right through the next 2 items. My next gripe would be the caramel in the flan, it was bitter. Not the dark chocolate bitterness that I adore, but just sickening bitter. Hoping my next trip would be better. Waiting to try their carrot cake.

Unfortunately, the interior is very cheap with fake marble tables and decorations with half-ripped bar code tags still on them. The place barely changed after old, less pretentious owners. The dessert is served on a fresh rose🌷, which is sprayed with perfume😎😎😎 Love the passion fruit and chocolate tart from Cakes & Bubbles😍 The bittersweet chocolate mousse goes really well with the tartness from passion fruit. It has a crispy bottom which gives the dessert an extra crunch. Finally it's topped with dark chocolate ice cream and gold leaf❤ . "The lightest carrot cake" looks like a mini sandwich with carrot meringue, shredded carrot, carrot sponge cake, and white frosting ice cream. This is definitely the best carrot cake you can find in town😊🥕🥕🥕. Finally, I had "The Cheese Cake For the Adventurous". It looks like a small wheel of cheese and is made with British Baron Bigod brie, which has a warm earthy, farmyard and mushroom flavour. It's covered with a layer of hazelnut and white chocolate, which looks like the cheese rind. The cheese cake is not very sweet and has a very strong cheese flavour. The texture is light, smooth and creamy. I would recommend it to any cheese lovers😎 Cakes & Bubbles was opened by pastry chef Albert Adrià, who was voted the world's best pastry chef in 2015 by the World's 50 Best Restaurants. If you love desserts, you should definitely add this place to your list😉

Upscale pudding only pop-up restaurant by one of the most creative chefs. Expect really tasty, nice and different desserts paired with great champagne and cava. They also provide tea, coffee and soft drinks. Be prepared and either have food before or after since it won't fill you up, specially if ordering cava or champagne. Special mention to the cava and cheese cake - delicious!

Cakes and Bubbles at Hotel Cafe Royale is the brainchild of Albert Adria who was voted The World’s Best Pastry Chef by The World’s 50 best restaurants. He has worked with his brother, Ferran, at the legendary Michelin star elBulli and Adria runs Barcelona’s hottest restaurant, Tickets. In 2016 Adria had a successful pop up at Hotel Cafe Royal and has now returned permanently. This marks his first establishment outside his native Spain and is certainly one to shout about. Cakes and Bubbles allows customers to indulge without feeling too guilty – the cakes contain less added sugar than usual, and no colorants, frostings or glitter. Be prepared to be wowed by the stunning desserts and the finely curated list of Champagnes and sparkling wines. We started with a light Spanish Llopart Cava whilst perusing the menu. From the Sweet Bites section we had the Frozen coconut and chocolate flower (£8) and the Crispy dark chocolate éclair with peanuts praline (£8). The eclair was so light and the coconut and chocolate flowers were absolutely fantastic with the perfect level of coconut coming through. Next up we sampled the Mango rose with frozen raspberry and mint (£14). This was a stunning palette cleanser in between courses. The Egg Flan (£5) was one of our favourite dishes and not what I expected at all. With dark caramel and passion fruit, this was a true winner. The lightest carrot cake (£7) was made from fried carrot meringue, steamed sponge carrot cake with peanuts and frosting ice cream with cinnamon and ginger. As the name suggests, the cake was light and the frosting ice cream was amazing. Last but certainly not least is the Cheese Cake for the Adventurous (£12). Adria has invented a new concept of the cheesecake, with coulommiers cheese, hazelnut and white chocolate. This dessert was something else! It was definitely more cheese like than cake but the white chocolate and hazelnut rind and the accompanying biscuits made it sweeter. Cakes and Bubbles at Hotel Cafe Royale is an absolutely stunning venue. Clearly so much thought and precision has gone into the menu. The staff (especially Federica) were absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable but not overbearing in the slightest. The cakes were absolutely exquisite and the accompanying champagne obviously went down a treat.

I would highly rank the sweets - they are amazing, no doubts. Although highly priced because of the famous chef's name. However, the ambiance is upsetting. There's no exclusivity for the place like this. People sit too close to each other and no proper place for jackets hence everyone keeps them and it looks like a cafè on a railway station. This was my big disappointment...which has no relation to food obviously.

Possibly more of a 3 than 4 star, but here goes...the desserts themselves were fine, well made and presentable but neither earth shattering or memorable. The signature cheesecake isn't that polarising (they keep going on about it), it's basically a savoury cheese mousse surrounded by white chocolate and served with biscuits which were carelessly served upside down in a mess. The passion fruit and chocolate cake was too acidic so the chocolate was overpowered. The base also stuck to the plate which was a little ludicrous. The eclair, was nice, but wasn't an eclair at all - it's meringue with peanut butter. No crème pat, no choux pastry and not even reminiscent of the eclair sweet which at least would be a nod to nostalgia. Service was haphazard. We were asked if we wanted everything together, we said yes, then he decided to serve the eclairs first and forgot the rest of our order completely. No one checked on us and it took awhile to get attention both when we ordered and when they forgot about us. The tables are also quite tight so you end up with a waiter's rear in your face as he explains the menu to the table next to you. At length. Overall, I'd say service was charming but not efficient and the manager kept watching champagne being poured rather than focussing on the customers. Go once, be conscious that the tea must be about £12 a pot given our bill, and enjoy yourself - but just accept that for the price point, the desserts don't have that come again factor that drives me back to other restaurants.

We have been twice over the past two weeks and have tried to order their iconic cheesecake. On both occasions it was said to be out of stock (though on the first occasion the member of staff gave conflicting information about there being no takeaway boxes then returning to say it is out of stock anyway when told that we have our own boxes). The cheesecake is delicious and we have ordered several times, but on a couple of occasions it has come with string attached, which is certainly not pleasant! When sitting in the restaurant, staff have been accommodating and pleasant.

Was originally told there was no seating inside (which was kind of a let down) but when we arrived we were accommodated and could get out of the heat and noise of Regent St. The place has a great vibe - very elegant. The staff were lovely and showed extreme levels of professionalism throughout (from service to health and saftey) which put us at ease and we had a lovely afternoon. I rarely give 5 stars but I'll explain why 4 star were given in this instance - The food we ordered did take a while to arrive considering what it was (a charcuterie board) which was also a little disappointing when it showed up as there wasn't much of it - but what was presented was lovely! This place is faaaancy but definitely has delicious (though small & pricey) desserts. I think if you want a treat and a more luxury experience then this place is great. We went there on a Friday afternoon for the first time. I would have given five stars if I felt that all the customers are treated like if they were as precious as the cakes. I would have appreciated if the personnel had remembered to give us a table after one became free, rather than letting us sit at the bar. Normally I would not mind the high chairs, but being pregnant I would have liked a bit more comfort. We asked for the free table but I think our waiter, who for the rest was attentive, forgot about the request and never replied. The two desserts and two drinks we tried were very special, as we had anticipated: an explosion of creatively assembled flavours and textures. Also beautifully presented. The Japanese champagne and the pistachio agua drink were excellent too.

Its very over the top marble bling - think the sort of place a Russian oligarch or Middle Eastern sheikh would like to go to.
