I ate at damoa once when the nearby Asian places were closed. The place is OK but not as good as other Asian place in the neighbourhood. The service is adequate yet somewhat lethargic. The food is (again) adequate but won't win any awards for freshness, flavour or originality.

Pretty good food, but portions were small and prices were a little too high. The restaurant itself needed to be cleaned more with grubby table and chairs. The poke bowls were delicious but there wasn't that much salmon or tuna in either of the dishes we were served. The bubble tea was not enjoyable and don't recommend it! It was a warm atmosphere with good WiFi, but it was not a 5* restaurant. It just needs to be redone to improve the aesthetics, with a name on the outside, and cleaner.

The food tasted great! I loved it and will order again! We had the Chicken gyoza soba noodles and spicy pork bibimbap. Both were amazingly tasty. We also had the salmon maki, which was on the smaller side, but was just the right portion as an entree. The spicy pork bibimbap was very well balanced, the pork was well seasoned and cooked. Overall, this place is great for Korean/Japanese food! Highly recommended.

In contrast to the negative comments on customer service, the women at the tills were so polite to me and served my order efficiently- the food and bubble tea was delicious and without a doubt, worth every penny. I highly recommend visiting at least once. Authentic japanese food, all of it tasting high quality.

Got takeaway the other day (they only do takeaways at the moment). The bibimbap was nice. But the £3.20 hand roll was surprisingly small and basic. No wasabi was provided either (I didn't think to check). I understand they need to make a profit but I'd rather they offered a better product, even if at a higher price. They also put the cold hand roll on top of the hot dish resulting in a warm hand roll mmm...

The food here is delicious on the high street oh Golders Green. Lunch was a treat fresh food seating and a healthy lychee drink. Freshly cooked perfect lunch. Offers delivery service. Fresh salads so many options. It's a most visit.

Amazing little secret spot!!! My wife and I stumbled upon this place randomly and all I can say is WOW!!! The place makes you feel like you're somewhere else, the inside was clean, fun and quirky! And the food was amazing and the staff were very friendly! Looks great, tastes great and high value for money!!! I highly recommend Damoa and would definitely come back again!!!

Damoa 🇬🇧 (Asian) £-- It's a cosy cafe vibe with a simple Asian inspired menu that serves all your favourites from katsu curry to bimibab and even something new to me called poke (Hawaiian salad). We chosen to have the chicken katsu curry and milk bubble tea. The food has top marks for presentation with little garnishes on top. However the rice and curry was cold which fundamentally for cooking isn't great. The staff was happy to replace my rice and the experience was much better. The dish is a little more spicy than your typical katsu curry so be aware of this if you're not too keen on heat. £6.80 for chicken katsu curry £3.50 for bubble tea For the decent price and portions, you'll end feeling happy after walking it off over a few blocks before going home.

I always stop by Damoa when I have the chance. Is nothing fancy, nor they try to be, but is just a great place to chill with your friends while you have something to eat or drink, and both things are good in this place, or for a quick grab to go. Definitely is a great addition to the area, and one of my favourite places in Golders green.

What a treasure to find in Golders Green. This place is Amazing! The ambiance is chilled and homey. The service was great! They are kind and polite and gave me some great recommendations. Quality food at a great price. I was completely stuffed after having Kimchi as my starter alongside a bowl of Miso soup which both was very tasty, Katsu Curry and Rice accompanied with a Matcha Bubble tea which was YUMMY! I would definitely go again!

Went in for the first time yesterday. Have seen it for years, but never thought to go in until my husband recommended it to me. I got thick fried noodles, with chicken dim sum. It tasted really fresh with a good amount of veg and dimsum. It was really delicious and the lady who served me was friendly enough.

I love this place!! We always eat here like once a week. The food is delicious and fresh, the service is always great and friendly! I usually get the Poke bowl or Bibimbab or even the chicken katsu curry. The spicy noodle soup is also amazing. Not to mention the bubble teas! :) Absolute favourite!

Hands down some of the best bubble tea I've ever heard. Regularly get roll cake too, and although the staff aren't so talkative. I can't speak about the hot food (never had it) but the presentation and service has been lovely thus far. Four stars only because the roll cake has occasionally looked squashed and almost too moist? This has only happened once. Prices are also quite high, and tapioca in the bubble tea is 50p (I mean, it's not bubble tea without tapioca..?)

I've been here for long and this is my favorite place to hang out with my people or chilling out for myself. I recommended this place to my friend. When they researched the place, they found out malicious reviews on google and trip advisor which are not true reviews without any photo or prove. well, as I am a regular customer here, I tried all most food from the menu.( of course desserts too!) sometimes, when they get busy, the service is bit slow. But the taste of food is never gone wrong. Especially all my friends, they are big fan of Bingsu and Bubble tea! We tasted all type of bingsu from menu, and they never let us down. I wonder whether she has ever tried Bingsu in her life who left the malicious review. We love this place and we strongly recommend to try this place! Very very reasonable price and delicious food& dessert! :)

Love this place although it needs to put a sign outside again cause i thought it had closed down for a while. Cozy place with nice menu. HOWEVER The standard has definitely dropped this last year with prices going up and food quality going down. The staff have also changed for the worse. The biggest loss is WIFI. They used to have free WiFi making it the ideal place to study, without WiFi it becomes a mediocre at best cafe.

A hidden diamond in Golders Green. So myself & my girlfriend ordered some food from Damoa, she got me Chicken Katsu curry with rice. I’ve eaten curry from different restaurants & this curry was just the best, the test, the texture, the presentation & the quality, just beyond amazing. When I finished eating I made a short prayer that “God bless whoever made this curry, because it seems like they made it with proper effort and from heart”. I just had to. I totally recommend it!

I had Spicy Pork Bibimbap and it was so good. And waitress was so kind. (Original) 일식당보다는 한국식당 느낌이 좀 더.. 메뉴가 한식 메뉴가 더 많았던 것 같고ㅎㅎ spicy pork 비빔밥 먹었는데 맛있었음 가격도 5.8 파운드면 괜찮고 나물, 제육볶음 다 맛있고 좋았음 I had Spicy Pork Bibimbap and it was so good. And waitress was so kind.
