Reviews of Gelato a Casa

We came here on a Sunday not expecting the whole area to be shut ... apart from this little place ... what a relief!!
Lovely place, modern design, self service.
We came for coffee and it was really good, we also had gorgeous biscuits to go with it.
It's in a good location, looking out over a large lake so in the summer would be extra nice, however it was very blowy and wet when we visited, not a lot of seating inside but we managed to grab a seat.
It sells lots of really nice foody bits to take away so worth a look

Gelato a casa deserves 5 stars.
Huge variety of ice creams including some unique flavours (you ought to try ekmek mastic).
They even have doggy ice cream :-p
Beyond ice cream, they have an equally big selection of sweet delicacies and some savoury ones, including Greek cheese pies.
Their coffees and drinks are also recommended.
If you are passing by, you should try it.

Gelato a Casa is a hidden gem in London and a very special place, with unique ice cream flavours that I’ve never seen anywhere else in the city.
The taste is amazing as everything is handmade and fresh. We tried many different flavours and loved blood orange, as well as strawberry, and black coconut - We recommend them!
The service is also great and we had a nice chat with the owner. I would highly recommend people to visit Gelato a Casa to try this unique place, it is amazing.
We will be regular customers from now on.
PS Thank you Gelato a Casa!

5☆Star Gelato - not standard ice-cream.
They make unique delicious flavours with real fruits and desserts incorporated nicely.
New flavours available about every week.
They also serve good portion sizes.
The nearby area is quite nice too for Summer chilling whilst indulging.

What a magical place Gelato a Casa is! This famly- run business has a wonderful selection of flavours many inspired by their Greek heritage (my favourite was the Lemon & Ginger flavour). Best of all this lovely place gave my friend and I a very warm welcome with friendly chat and warm smiles. Also just outside and around the corner are nice water feature places to sit and enjoy your sweet treat! It's so well-worth a visit!

This place is an absolute gem! The staff are super friendly, they have some crazy flavours, and the gelato is delicious. Would highly recommend if you're in the area, as they have indoor and outdoor seating, or you can sit on a bench and admire the massive pond outside.

My favourite gelateria in London. Found it in a totally random way and been back every single week since the first visit.
The different flavours are excellent, the service is good and the prices are fair.
The quality of the gelato deserves a mention of excellence. Absolutely amazing.
I've been back and I will be back every week.

I came here just because I was passing by and it was one of the most pleasing surprises I’ve had in a long time. Very kind and friendly service, explaining each flavour and happily offering a sample to assure that you decide which flavour is best for you. It’s one of the best ice creams that I’ve had after being in so many places and for sure here it’s worth to have a detour. I hope to come back soon! 100% recommended

Massive bubble waffles and gorgeous fresh gelato at a great price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

Their lemon ginger gelato is the best tasting. The furniture is also nice with indoor and outdoors available. Maybe some back cushion against the windows for the back?

Highly recommend. Very pleasant and helpful staff, wide range of options covering all dietary options including several vegan offerings. Cheap for the quality too, with large serving sizes and tasty food

The building itself is beautifully laid out with a nice aesthetic. The customer service is wonderful with friendly staff. The ice cream itself is delicious - if not a bit pricey - but that's to be expected of a smaller business in London, so is of little concern.
The only real problem I have is the low amount of seating. There are soft benches around the edges, but no seats that allow you to be face to face with others while sitting and eating.

The gelato is amazing, and they have the best coffee in the area.
Level access from the footpath. Lots of room inside to manoeuvre a wheelchair. Inside counter is low enough to view while seated, but the small counter is a struggle since they’ve moved the table in front of the window. (The staff are cool with reading out the flavours back there though)

Best ice cream ever!! And so much choice!! I got some for home and already thinking about the flavours I will try next!!

Great ice cream and amazing coffee. Friendly people and a big variety of flavours as well as traditional greek desserts. I totally recomend it any time of year, especially when the weather allows, the iced coffee (freddo cappuccino, freddo espresso) combined with an ice cream is a real treat!

Love, love, love this place! Amazing flavour gelato at good price and with such friendly and welcoming service. I discovered this place by chance whilst riding past on my bike. I returned a few hours later to try a scoop of gelato and ended up having three scoops because there were too many irresistible unique flavours! :-0 It was a very nice end to my evening bike ride :)

Good selection of gelato with some unusual flavours like Bitter Chocolate. Gelato was great and prices are very good. Staff is extremely nice, I think it might be a family business. Very pleasant outdoor seating area near a pond. I found this gem while taking the CS3 cycleway toward Tower Bridge.
