Authentic mochi ice cream in London! This is the perfect store to be in. Eat mochi and shop your heart out at Selfridges ♥️
The only problem is they do not have a seating option for people who just want to savour this dessert :(

Located at the back of the food hall in selfridges it wasn't what I was expecting. When my daughter said she wanted to visit I thought it was a shop just for little moons .. lots of flavours .. priced at £1.50 each .. we tried 6 flavours .. love the ice cream inside but not the dough on outside .. gave it 5 stars because its what it is .. daughter was happy .. job done 👍

Their not cheap but my god their tasty! You can get a box or pick and mix. I picked two small vegan balls of the same flavour. There was only one limited vegan option which was really nice. It looked like the other vegan flavours were sold out. What I liked was how light and tasty they were. Refreshing. Can't remember the flavour. Not heavy like proper ice cream. Small stall in Selfridges Food Hall.

Nice snack of mochi ice cream when shopping around. £1.50 each. Would recommend the tropical mango and passionfruit flavour - really good. The matcha was okay but have had better matcha mochi ice cream elsewhere. You can also buy boxes here too.

It was a lovely Sunday, but an unsuccessful shopping trip :( I had visited the west end with my mum, sister and niece to try and find the perfect flower girl dresses for mums wedding... We had no luck with dresses but were continuously told by my niece that we have to go and get Little Moons Mochi Ice Cream... I had no idea what she was talking about but insisted we visit as the ice cream had been featured on TikTok and was apparently 'AMAZING'

The concept of the small Japanese ice cream store was really cute and there were a few yummy flavours that caught my eye that I wanted to try so we all picked our mochi balls, that came in a small paper bowl type packaging with a stick.
After trying the Little Moons ice cream I was impressed with some of the flavours such as Pistachio and Strawberries and Cream #YUM although the hazelnut tasted quite bland so I won't go for that again.
The Little Moons Ice Cream Mochi Balls are a fun alternative to the usual selections or common 99 flake but overall I didn't think they were amazing or lived up to the TikTok hype, I wouldn't go out of my way to get this again but if I am in Selfridges I may pop down for some of the Pistachio Mochi Balls, worth trying once definitely.

If you are a mochi lover! Then you will absolutely love these mochi icecream. I personally believe it’s not worth it, as I cannot handle cold items. But if you are an icecream lover and are able to bite icecreams, then this is definitely for you lol they do amazing flavours

The salted caramel one was amazing😍 But unfortunately the cooler bag didn’t keep my boxes of mochi cold for long… they melted and stuck together :(

Who doesn't love mochi!
This may be the first mochi stand I've found and situated right outside bond Street station was very convenient. They had a huge selection of flavours, I loved the mango and lemon flavours particularly! The staff member working was super helpful and friendly. The only downside is the price with 1 for £1.50

I actually won some free mochi ice cream, so I was able to try a lot. Normally, however, it's quite pricey. It must sell relatively well though, because I believe it's now sold in Waitrose.
Anyway, it tastes great. I've had mochi before and wasn't a huge fan, but I loved it when it coated the ice cream in these balls; the texture's great. There's a fantastic variety of flavours, of which we tried tonnes. I really liked espresso and green tea, and my boyfriend loved the raspberry and vanilla. All of them tasted great though.
I'd definitely recommend trying them, but it is a big treat due to the price. Still, really good mochi encasing some tasty ice cream -- a rare find in London.
