J. C.Great venue for my daughter's birthday. Ed was absolutely fantastic and did everything he could to accommodate the party we had in the terrace room. All the other staff were lovely too. We all had a fantastic time and will definitely be coming back. The icecream and coffees were all delicious too.

M. B.Some of the best coffee in London (and ice cream) although staff can be doolally...on 16th March I wanted to take my dad. Sign said they were closed (despite 2 staff inside) so we went next door. As we were leaving next door, staff were still inside, so gave them a knock ...it turned out they forgot to flip the sign from closed to open, and were confused that no one was coming in! Note to the owner - might want to increase staff's common sense! (but your food & coffee is amazing!)
S. K.Very nice place for ice cream and desserts. Coffee ice cream was very tasty and chocolate brownie warm and soft. The temperature is warm inside the shop, allowing us to enjoy ice cream even in winter.
s. b.A great place in Chalk Farm to get a delicious ice cream and a really good cappuccino. Very pleasant staff. We sat outside and really enjoyed soaking up the local atmosphere in the warm sun! Good shops nearby and near Camden Market. Also reasonably priced. There is parking across the road, pay and display, not expensive.
M. E.It was a cold wet day on Chalk Farm road but don't let that dissuade you. Ice cream tastes good on warm days and cold days.
Marine Ice has yummy ice cream and decent portion sizes. It hit the spot after lunch (at The Lock Tavern). If you're in the mood for ice cream it's by far the best choice for the Chalk Farm Rd/Camden Lock area!
p.s. If the weather had been warmer we'd have eaten lunch outside, in The Camden Lock Market, from one of the ethnic places.
S. E. P.We've been going to Marine Ices as a family for years, and it has always been a real treat. One of my favourite nights was after a concert at The Roundhouse, where we slipped across the road for some decadent sundaes after the gig.
The new shop is still in a great location, just down the road from the old one.
I recently had the opportunity to get ice cream into the paws of 150+ school kids, and Marine Ices didn't let me down. A definite favourite with the kids was the Lemon Sorbet.
C. S.I love this little gem of a place - a new location for the long established Marine Ices with just the ice cream in a little parlour. A great place to escape to from the hectic crowds and to catch up with friends over a coffee and ice cream. The ice cream is DELICIOUS with an array of ice cream flavours and sorbets and the staff are super lovely. This is one of my favourite spots in Camden.

C. d. R.Marine Ices were promising authentic Italian gelato... Well, I was not disappointed ! I've eaten the crispy toffee one, very creamy and tasty, with the right amount of crispy bites in it (might sound like a detail but it is very important). The staff, who was very welcoming, made me try several as I was hesitating... The honey and ginger one was fantastic, definitely eating this one next time.
The place looks nice and refreshing, coffee is very good (italian style yummy) and very well situated (Camden market 5 minutes away).

E. W.It used to be a lovely Italian restaurant but the quality of main meals went down over the years - wise to keep it just to the ice creams which are delish. Went there for nostalgic purposes recently - still good icecream but service a little, well, meh.
M. C.If you're into proper ice cream, this is your place! Brilliant part of London, lovely little shop and charming staff. The dark chocolate & Dulce de Leche ice cream and the mandarin sorbet come highly recommended. Can't wait to go back!

Wow-factor ice cream, great coffee, well worth a visit!
G.Never been there physically, but ordered on UberEATS (already a plus), when dying for ice-cream an hour after dinner :) Pistachio and hazelnut are absolutely delicious, creamy and intense flavours like from the best gelateria in Italy!! Prices are pretty reasonable as well (£ 5 for a 500 ml tub!). I look forward to going to the shop now, when not too lazy after the day. :)
M. R.My 4 year old says Marine Ices serve the 'best ice cream in the UK'! It is always a treat for the boys, and for us :) Would highly recommend visiting their new parlour, it is lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's the perfect place to take a break from sightseeing and shopping around Camden's busy market.
