I bought the pistachio macaron and I absolutely loved it. They are so light yet so packed with delicate flavours - perfectly balanced and delicious! They are a little on the pricey side but you do get what you paid for - I certainly had no complaints!

The salted caramel macaroon was to die for. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. The member of staff that attended to us was friendly, polite and knowledgeable. My daughter loved these macaroons she would have eaten everything in the shop if I had let her!

It's been one of my favorite spots in Seven Dials area. Pistachio is my no 1, very very tasty and fresh. Always friendly and smiling staff is a plus. They were going to change working days, so you may find it closed on a Monday- give them a call before you visit if you are not sure.

The staff were lovely and the store is beautifully set-up. The prices are a little steep, but fair as the quality is high and Hermé is a fairly well-known brand for chocolates and other confectionaries. Worth the visit, in my opinion. (The rest of this is just a review of their macarons.) I visited this store after determining that - of the 8 or so top rated stores I visited - Hermé had the best macarons in Paris. I was fairly pleased with my purchase here in London as well. The texture of the macarons are perfect and they have a variety of delightful and interesting flavors available. However, I felt like the flavors were at times not strong enough - a little too much of the almond flour flavor came through on most of the macarons and in some cases overpowered the specific flavor of the macaron itself. A little disappointing, but they were still very good. The macarons here are certainly better than those at Ladurée in Covent Gardens.

My family and I were one of the first people to visit this particular Pierre Herme when it first opened in November 2014 and I remember the service being friendly and helpful. This time wasn't any different. As it is near Christmas, there are special flavoured macarons for sale - I asked the lady serving me which ones she recommended and chose them before filling up the rest of my box. Pierre Hermé is known to come out with some pretty interesting flavours and the Christmas ones were no different. Some people will enjoy the interesting mix of flavours, but others will definitely prefer the traditional flavours of chocolate, strawberry and caramel. I say take a chance! These tasty little nibbles are quite pricey, so you might as well try the limited edition ones!

An excellent patisserie with a delicious and colourful selection of Macaroons, the best you'll find in London. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable so don't be afraid to ask what the flavours are. They can come in a variety of different shapes and sizes boxes, each with their own unique design to them. They also have an extensive selection of chocolates to choose from. The salted caramel, chocolate and passion fruit and pistachio flavours are standouts!

Pierre Hermé has the the absolute best macaroons in the world, way better than Ladurée which is rather basic. He created perfect combination of flavours and their seasonal creations always amaze me. Who’d know that olive oil could be a nice addition to a macaroon ? Pierre Hermé! I hate mint in any food and they manage to make it delicious. I’ve never eaten anything that I didn’t absolute LOVE in that place !

I am not a fan of macaroons.... but the Praline and Hazelnut literally tastes like a Ferrero Rocher.... Have it. It's amazing. The ice cream is not great though, I thought it would be fresh but it comes in a small plastic pre-made pot.

The bakery is a bit on the pricey side however the macarons are the best you can get and their cakes are incredible. We got a chocolate cake which as usual did not disappoint but the fruit cake they have (they have a selection) are something truly special.

Firstly Pierre Herme is the doyen of macarons. He has books on the subject. Secondly his flavour combinations are nothing short of inspired. Thirdly the macarons offered in his shops are fabulously executed in the authentic French style. Soft, slightly chewy almond meringue in bright colours with deeply flavoured fillings. Each macaron is a tiny masterpiece - an ode to what a lifetime of dedication can create. Anything you eat here is incredible. Ispahan is raspberry, kitchen and rose. Mint is incredibly fresh. Passion fruit and chocolate... You can't go wrong. In warm weather sit on the street and enjoy the fantastically packaged macarons and let their bright colours and intense flavours sweep you away...

Amazing chocolates. Bought a box of seven macarons for £16 as a treat. You can pick from about 15 flavours. Can recommend the chocolate and the salted caramel, or the rhubarb for something a bit different.
