A. A.Absolutely delicious food with amazing presentation. The waffles and pancakes are so warm and delicious. They are not stingy on the sauce and they put so much on 🤤🤤. The shop is so beautiful with a nice floral logo which is amazing for taking pictures. The staff members are very welcoming and very friendly. There’s loads of seating place and there’s even an upstairs.

S. A.Urban Chocolatier is a wonderful experience for those with a sweet tooth. The numerous options on what to have can often make it difficult to decide, however every option is a good option. The service was very swift and we didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive.
If you love dessert do yourself a favour and head down to urban chocolatier.
z. h.Slow service is very off putting.
They seem unorganised and forget that you've ordered. Perhaps it's just the male waiter, I think he's new.
The online orders is distracting them from serving the customers in store.
Please increase your staffing.
The guy on milkshake duty is the real MVP, came in minutes.
Hot desserts are quite slow.

T. R.Visited this desert place with family and kids, atmosphere is pretty cool and the staff are friendly. Ordered variety of deserts as I wanted to try most of their selection. Ice cream based deserts were very nice although it was quite sweet, the cookie dough was good too. Was not too happy the way they were served hence 3 star rating. Most of the deserts are ice cream based but was served on flat slate and not plates. It was so difficult to it as the ice cream started melting and dripping of the slates. They really need to think this through, although you want a nice presentation, slates are definitely not ok to serve ice cream.

The girl who served me wasn’t so good with the listening I had to correct my order twice even then when it arrived and couple of things weren’t right but after I brought it to their attention they were quick to sort it.

M.We chose more than 1 dessert however forgot to take pics. The desserts below are 1 sizzling brownie which does actually come quite hot so be careful, tasted great but was too much at the end and therefore became sickly. The 2nd was a brownie sundae which tasted like a typical sundae with brownie pieces. The service was okay, they attended to our needs however forget to give us metal spoons for all of us and instead gave us a plastic spoon for one person. They rectified the problem so can't fault them there. It's a bit small inside as we sat downstairs. Overall, I would go back but only if around the area.

Today we had to wait in a long miserable line to get into UC. We were served by Jon, who really put a smile on our faces, and as more people rolled through, we watched as he managed to spread the joy.

Dessert was good, slow service, and really annoyed that they had Guest WiFi but wouldn’t give me the password - apparently the manager doesn’t like giving out the password 🤨 you lose stars

A. “. Z.Being situated in a close neighbouring area, it’s so convenient. Only minutes away walking distance from Upton Park station. Must try the Oreo cheesecake with vanilla gelato and the Double Chocolate Sponge cake with whipped cream. Their ice cream sundae range and waffles are so good that it’s a must have on your ‘I’m craving desserts right now’ list.

M.30/08/2020:
Their tiramisu is the best I’ve had but in recent years they’ve tried to add things that just don’t work.
A) the portion was always too small
B) but now they add whipped cream around the slices and it just ruins the taste and doesn’t really do a good job of hiding the fact that the slices are small - if you’ve been a long time customer then you’ll know that the tiramisu used to be served untainted by fresh cream from a can and it did really well due to its flavour and texture.
I love getting desserts here but the recent red velvet ice cream sundae was a let down. The red velvet pieces/cake on the sundae were dry and tasted stale, there was nothing else that really screamed red velvet in the ice cream considering that's the name of the dessert. It was ok but adding more quality cake or textures e.g. more waffers/strawberry sauce would have made all the difference.
My rating is based on the other great desserts like the tiramisu, cookie dough (most of them) their mocktails etc but I hope they can improve some other desserts.
Also, the Upton Park UC have changed their 2 sides laminated menu into a 'book' - I'm a simple person and I think the menu was easier to navigate through when it was only 2 sides of A3.
The Biscoff Cheesecake and Red Velvet Cheesecake are from a visit post disappointing sundae. Both were good and the Ice cream helps with the overkill of sweetness.

H. B.Been meaning to check this place out for a while and it delivered. We order ice cream, milkshakes, cookie dough and it all exceeded our expectations. Decor surrounding the shop was very nice and staff were extremely friendly and polite. Food came quicker than expected and we all throughly enjoyed it. Staff were also wearing masks and following covid protocol which was appreciated. Can't wait to come back here soon

Love the service received they’re all so friendly and great conversationalists and they always take into mind any special requests such as when me and my friends asked for a good amount of chocolate and strawberries on our waffle.

Ordered Churros, Hot cookie dough and Skittles milkshake online for collection- asked to sign up for their newsletter which gave me £5.. Easily the best churros I’ve had in a while. I've never tasted anything so scrumptious in my life!i had the white chocolate cookie dough, for £7.95. it was a large piping hot cookie dough served with fresh vanilla ice cream with melted white chocolate on top. It's so good that i'm prepared to risk my health to get my daily fix!

C. R.This was a perfect treat! Good quality gelato and desserts. Was very busy but it was Saturday. Quick service. I think they need more space because they are too many people waiting. Only problem was we had to wait 10 mins to sit down and theres no waiting area so we had to stand.
P.Average the vanilla ice cream given is humongous
S.I ordered a chocolate and peanut butter shake and asked for a banana to be added. It was very good. The one thing I wasn't happy about with regard to the service is the lack of choice of seating. It was explained to me that even though there was seating upstairs they aim to fill the downstairs seating first
