The best ice cream ever. If you haven't been, get yourself there. They have some great flavours that a definitely worth a try.

Delicious and yummy ice cream, they have variety of flavour. If you’re not sure what flavour to get you can get a free taste. Also make sure to remind them to put the free chocolate on the top of the ice cream because sometimes they forget.

Visited Venchi after being disappointed with the crepe place around the corner for having booze in their food. Anyway good customer service & interaction by the staff member. Managed to get the last pistachio scoop + coconut sorbet. Both myself & my Mrs were impressed. Highly recommended. Thanks

Wow. Probably the best ice cream I've ever had in my life (and trust me, I've eaten many, in a few countries). The dark chocolate sorbet is the winner, in my opinion. I had only previously been to one artisan gelaterie that had dark chocolate sorbet, so this is quite exclusive. Altogether the ambience is very welcoming, there is a huge variety of flavours (mango flavour strong number 2 in the tasty poll) and it is a whole new experience. Definitely worth the visit!

Considering the price - £7 per 100 g of chocolates (~£1.2 a chocolate in my case), I found the taste interesting but very underwhelming. Cute staff, at least one of them not speaking any English at all. I suspect their ice cream would have been a much better choice. (Pic doesn't contain all chocolates I got)

It’s just the best Ice cream in town have been here many many times and for good reason. I have never experienced anything that comes remotely as close. Staff are all lovely as well go for the extra chocolate sauce well worth it.

Against common beliefs that everyone loves ice cream and chocolate, I unfortunately don't like both. Went there with the friends as they love ice cream. I tried the smallest cup and to my surprise it tasted really good. Normally most ice creams you get are either crushed ice or too oily, this tested like pure flavour and cream. Not that I started loving ice cream but it was definitely good experience.

Amazing gelato, fresh every day and new flavors. The staff is so lovely - my son got a cone and ended up spilling it on the floor. Came in ready to pay for another cone, they gave him a new one with chocolate with not questions. Really turned a sad, tear-filled kid into a happy one

I know that people tend to go absolutely crazy for this place but I would not be so quick to sing their eternal praise. Sure, it's a lovely place with lovely service, and their chocolates are definitely on the nicer end, however, I think their ice cream is not as great as some of the other patisseries' nearby - I didn't finish mine the last time we got ice cream from there. I also find most of their products really quite overpriced - you can get nicer ice cream/sweets in the area for significantly less.

The ice cream is great here. They also have great coffee, in particular the cappuccino. Fantastic. The downside is that it can get chaotic and congested at times, coffee orders misplaced and signage that confuses (signs saying get your ticket first, when what they mean is pay and take your receipt to the ice cream counter). Otherwise would be 5 stars.

Delicious gelato, I got their new flavor of lychee sorbet and strawberry sorbet. tasty! 4.5 GBP for a small cup, kinda pricey in my opinion, hence 4 stars

5 stars for the ice cream (absolutely my favourite in London, having tried Venchi first in Rome and the quality is the same). I would say 2-3 stars for the service - impersonal and slow, you often have to queue for up to 25 minutes. So, it could be more efficient. But I'll be honest, the ice cream is worth the wait! Cremino is my ultimate favourite.

Love their ice-cream!!! So glad that we saw this ice-cream shop after shopping at borough market and decided to go for some ice-cream! Definitely the best choice we made!! Had mango and pistachio favor and it’s so good! Pistachio favor is nice and creamy while mango is refreshing and not too sweet! U just got to try it then you will know what I mean! The queue is long but don’t worry it’s quite fast! Will definitely be back for more!

I've always seen a queue out the door here, even before covid. Yesterday, I tried one of their shaken milks and it was incredible! They use Nutella instead of chocolate syrup and the ice cream.... wow. So creamy, so light, it's divine. All they need is peanut butter and banana ice cream...

Queue was well worth it in the end. Sun's out so everyone had the same idea of going out and grabbing an ice cream. The line was a bit long but worth it once we got the ice cream. You're paying a little bit more because it's Venchi but it is one of the nicer ice creams you will have

After doing 30 mins in the que to grab a coffee, they told us coffee machine is off. 2 hours before closing time. The girl serving was even laughing while telling us , making fun of us. At least when you switch off coffee machine make a note so people see it and dont do half an hour in the que for nothing !! I changed the review to a 5 star as had a prompt response from the owner Mark to see what happened, and even was informed that this is against the company's policy. He apologised for our experience and would see that this wont happen agian. Very well done Sir on how you deal with your customers. Thank you.

I'm making this review as I have visited the stores over in Italy and i need to urge anyone in the UK to go down and try this goodness . It's a shame that the online store charges £16 shipping as i can't go to London myself but the chocolate, the spreads, crepes, hot chocolates etc are a must have!

They are there to destroy my fitness Hampstead walks. Hard to pass by and not treat yourself. If there's no queue, take your time! The store itself is a show on its one. The staff always served me samples on my tryouts. Worth it!

A good example of Italian ice cream! Not sure whether you might find a bit pricey, but it is certainly worth as the quality of the ice cream is really good (and I can show off a bit and say that I recognize gelato!). There is also a decent range of choice (different tastes) - didn't notice our typical "brioches" there but fair enough, not common here in the UK! Enjoy authentic Italian ice cream!

Oh gelato! Once you find yourself in Hampstead Village you will get to visit this fantastic chocolate and gelato shop. Unless is during the weekdays and late in the evening you have good chances to wait for a few good minutes in line to get to buy your treats but every minute in the q is worthy. We often take the family there for a treat and the flavours are out if this world. Kids are loving it although gelato is not as sweet as other ice creams are ❤️😋 the shop is always spotless and its a treat just to be in there. Great staff, so kind and lovely. Prices are decent as well and gelato sizes are perfect !

Great choice of chocolate in the pic a mix as you queue up. The ice cream is to die for and has to be enjoyed in the cone with chocolate and nuts. Staff are lovely and kind. Will be back soon.

The special hot chocolate was lovely but for the price you pay (£4) what you get is nothing. The staff did not seem to be in a mood to help. Maybe because we are not their usual sort of client (not smelling of extra cash). It was an interesting experience but we probably not come back.

I could not rate Venchi Hampstead highly enough, this is why: I was given as a present a beautiful box of Venchi Chocolates but when I opened it a few weeks later the chocolates looked grey and unappetising. Although I was reassured by a very nice person at Venchi that it did not affect the quality of the product they did not hesitate in replacing the whole box and even let me make my own selection . That evening it was difficult ro resist finishing the whole box! Thank you Venchi and thank you to the very nice young man who served me.
