Well tonight after many years of driving past I tried Blue Bay Indian restaurant. We were the first customers in just after 5pm. I’ve dined at pretty much every Indian in Manchester over the last 30+ years and I’m happy to say this was amazing! I wish I’d gone any years ago. Service was lovely, bill very reasonable and a complimentary drink at the end. The flavours of the chefs specials were amazing. King prawns were real KING prawns. All in all 10/10 We’ll be back!!

Dined here and had deliveries on a number of occasions this year and the food and service is consistently good. The management and staff are very friendly and helpful and always willing to accommodate any specific requests. Best curry in the area. Never been disappointed, keep up the good work. 👏👏👏👏👏

Very very nice, I'm working away and the restaurant at our hotel is shut so a quick look on Google Maps and up pops this highly rated Indian. Went here for the first time last week and just had to come back again the week after , the restaurant has a really comfortable feel about it , we were fit in even though we hadn’t made a booking and they were very busy to ,food was beautiful staff were just lovely and a massive plus for me is you are left alone to enjoy your meal we were asked once if everything was ok then just normal chat if they passed our table I can’t stand it when staff are constantly coming over asking if everything is ok it’s the most annoying thing ever if I needed anything they were there , that’s how it should be , the only is even though the restaurant as quite a few deserts on the menu we need more plz 😋😋

I aim to eat here once a month. The choice of dishes is amazing and the food always first class. The staff are friendly and efficient. The standards of cleanliness also excellent. I have worked my way through the menu and have never been disappointed.

Had a meal for the first time in the restaurant and have to say WOW. I tried a couple of dishes I've never had before and was blown away by the taste and freshness of the food. It was obvious the chefs are really good but cooking with quality ingredients which made the food a big hit with me. The staff are very friendly and made me feel very welcome and the ambiance is quite chilled so really enjoyed the whole experience. I can't wait to go back again even though they are over 2hrs away from me but worth the travel times. The stand out dish for me was the King prawn spinach curry which just oozed freshness and flavour. Also to note it was great to see more traditional Bangladeshi items which I want to try more of next time I visit which will be very soon.

Had a great meal here last night - really varied and well cooked food. They're Gluten Free friendly and even had a few GF beers! My girlfriend came too and we agreed that it has to be the best Indian in the area by far. Really friendly staff too.

My very first visit here and it definitely won't be my last! The staff are all awesome and very accommodating as we arrived and hadn't pre booked a table, they managed to still seat us even though it was very busy (which is also a good sign)... then we get to the food! AMAZING food. I had the Rogan Josh. It was spot on. Nice and hot and full of flavour. The meal was finished off with a Baileys and a chocolate. A great touch. Thank you to all at Blue Bay for a lovely evening. I can't wait to return.

I visited Blue Bay recently with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The staff were really friendly and welcoming which was a lovely start. The waiters couldn’t be more attentive and the food was DELICIOUS! The chef personally came out to greet us and ask if the food was ok, which we thought was a lovely touch and an opportunity for us to tell the Chef that his food was delicious! It's been too long since I last been to Blue Bay in Whitefield (cos of lockdown) As always the food and service was great, loved the hospitality from the staff. Very few Indian restaurants tick all the boxes like Blue Bay... The portions are generous too!!!

Exactly as the majority of critics have already said about this restaurant. Everything about Blue Bay exceeds expectations. I am not going to write an essay about how amazing the food is. Just simply look at the photos I have attached, and make your own judgement. The menu has an excellent variety of wonderful Asian dishes that are of a decent sized portion and are all fairly priced. The customer service is very helpful and attentive. The dining area is clean and tidy. Plenty of free parking within a minute’s walk of the restaurant. Blue Bay is definitely worth a try. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely food, the lamb tikka is of exceptional quality. Is a very casual place with nice pretty decorations and very polite staff with a heap of respect and positivity for customers. I would highly recommend this for anyone of any age. The portions are of perfect size and prices are not high. Lovely place in general. 5* !!!

Love this place! Ive been everywhere and haven't found anything as authentic, fresh and great value for money. The staff treat you as family, if there is something that isn't on the menu and really want extra spice just ask! They can make anything and everything. I have travelled all over and been to some high profile places but none match the quality and taste of blu bay. Would highly recommended to anyone, can't fault this place. Looking forward to my journey back up next week for another wonderful night.
