A really nice and vibrant restaurant with a wide range of Asian options. I was hoping for yakiniku/bulgogi, but there is no barbecue option whatsoever - the hot plates are used for hotpot only. Regardless, it was tasty and the portions reasonable. It was almost deserted at lunchtime, but hopefully there is more atmosphere in the evening. It’s also well worth knowing about the private rooms upstairs, which might make a nice option if you’re looking for a different venue for a party or even a business meeting in Nottingham. Very tasty food, with reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. Had a nice selection of appetisers and enjoyed the beef ramen. Could do with a few more beer and wine options but good selection of other beverages. Service was impeccable throughout.

So many positive things to say. Serves halal animal product. Good atmosphere. Easy to book. Reasonable price for the food/drink. Good taste, although I have to be honest not the best in the UK eg for Malaysian coconut rice, or chicken satay. Char kway teow are good above average. Naga sushi is the best compared to any other restaurants or takeaways. Me wife and I have been here dozens of time, last time went was last night, busy (almost full) but the food arrived less than 20 minutes which is amazing.

The portion size was really good we ordered the wagyu beef hotpot. However what was disappointing was the fact that everything was frozen and not fresh as it was a £69 dish and the use of plastic dishes for the sauces was a bit tacky. Usually when ordering wagyu beef it doesn’t come frozen?? The bento sushi box was beautiful tho I would recommend getting that for the price.

So far, this is the best Asian restaurant I have been to with some following closely. I went here a few times and I loved all the food I have ordered, they have all tasted very good. The portion of the food is very generous with all dishes, considering the price. I would say this is the higher side of the price range but I think it is worth it. The staffs are very nice and friendly too. The place looks very nice, somewhat fancy, and very clean.

I took my sister for a birthday meal as she said she liked sushi. My sister was blown away by the sushi we shared and her main. The first bite was packed with delicious flavours and textures that I know sushi to be. I went for something other than the Red Thai Curry (my usual order when I visit as it is also absolutely amazing), the Malaysian Chicken Curry. The spices were phenomenal and the chicken was deliciously tender. You could easily pay for cheaper sushi elsewhere, but i guarantee you are missing out on a wonderful experience at Pan Asia. There're still so many options I want to try on the menu so I guess I have no choice but to return.

Been to Pan Asia BBQ this evening with my girls for a proper Sushi dinner and been wonderfully surprised by the sheer variety of far East cuisine on the menu in spite of the BBQ not being on. The food was excellent, we really love Sushi and make a point of finding new Sushi restaurants when away so thrilled to find such a good authentic restaurant close enough to home. The restaurant and staff are wonderful also, friendly and helpful and not a typical packed buffet type oriental restaurant. It wasn't too busy hence no BBQ running but no effort was lost in preparing us a wonderful meal. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and you'll enjoy yourself as well as being surprised by the excellent portions and value.

Came here for the first time with my daughter. Its nice clean place with cool atmosphere. Great varieties of asian dishes such as Korean, Singaporean, Indonesian ,Japanese and Malaysian. I ordered kimchi fried rice and my daughter ordered teriyaki chicken. Both dishes came in generous portions and my fried rice had lot of chicken pieces in it . The prices are good too. The bathroom is very clean and tidy. Cant wait to come back again to try different dishes.

This place has to be my all time favourite restaurant! Not only can you get a range of oriental food from one place, but it's also cooked to perfection. I eat here often and I've never once had a bad meal. The wait staff are friendly and efficient too. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

PROS •Lengthy menu with lots of options and some pictures •Large portion sizes •Good pricing - 2 main meals were under £15 •Very quiet (at 8pm thursday), only 3 other parties were eating. So our food arrived quickly and atmosphere wasn't too loud •They had aircon! Much needed in the heatwave :) CONS •For my drink I ordered water, and when it arrived it was lukewarm. Maybe I'm picky but some ice or even just chilled would've been nice, especially considering the July heat •Our seats were slightly uncomfortable, some seat cushions would've been nice.

Tasty Malaysian mee goreng can be found here. Japanese food here is just average. Another signature dish is the Singapore Laksa, served with king prawns and seafood, tastes great, spicy and authentic!

Very fast and good quality service and very reasonable prices 6 of us (6 very hungry men) ate here with probably more than 1 main each starters and drinks for around £100. My 1 let down was my fizzy drink definitely didn't taste like regular Pepsi but tasted like some sort of diet drink as it is brought to you in a glass there is no way or verification of this. And the menu is like an encyclopedia took us half an hour to decide what we want. Abit let down because the main grill menu thing that is on the table was out of service hence 4 stars

The actual Korean barbeque doesn't seem to be available on the many trips we have made to the restaurant. Admittedly most of our experiences had been pleasant. However some aspects have made us hesitant to go to the restaurant again. On my last visit I ordered the Thai Red Curry, and the chicken was obviously undercooked. I notified one of the waitresses about this and she apologised and took my plate to the kitchen. Her superior, who has upset members of our party on several occasions reprimanded her and sent her back to our table. Shortly after, he made his way to our table and talked to us with a very demeaning attitude. He insisted that the chicken was not raw and refused to change the meal. Safe to say I will not be heading to Pan Asia in the near future.

There was a decent selection of food from South East Asia the hananise chicken rice was not bad though the portion size could have been slightly bigger but the taste was not bad, the rice was well seasoned and the dips were ok, all in all for the price it's an ok choice for getting south east asian food if you like a variety to pick from.

Why go anywhere else for great Asian food? Food: well presented, big meals and incredibly tasty. They have a wide range of different types of Asian foods. I didn't expect amazing sushi here, because I think it is generally not possible to get very fresh quality fish in UK. Well, in the restaurant with medium price range. SO, with no expectations, I have received my plate of rolls, which was surprisingly huge. It was just one item, but there were 12 very big pieces. Regarding taste....it is not real sushi, you can not feel the taste of fish. My rolls were poured over with two different sauces with quite intense taste, which was the dominant taste of the dish. Inside along with shrimp tempura, there was fake crab meat! That's too much. The taste overall was nice, however, if you don't think that you eat sushi. My advice is: just enjoy it as a tasty food, but don't compare with a good fresh sushi.

Brilliant food, decor/interior design and service. I was very impressed with the decor, service, quality and quantity of food given and really enjoyed my experience here. The staff kept the place very clean and tidy and were attentive, friendly and helpful. The food portions were huge and fantastic value for money and cooked to a very high standard. There's a huge variety of dishes choose from different Asian cultures and also a lot of choice with drinks. I tried a fizzy Lychee drink called Kimura which was very enjoyable and it came with a marble in the bottle! Would definitely recommend and will visit again, thanks very much! The Big Bowl dishes are HUGE and the portions there will ensure you will get your money's worth!

Food is always good. Service attentive but not intrusive. Head chef Andy is from Malaysia and cooks from his heart and homeland. Is always happy to put the spices to an even more authentically Asian level. Pan Asia is also a really good option for sushi/sashimi. Beautifully presented and tasty. Sensible prices also. This is one of the places on our "short list" of places to take family from overseas. No one we've taken has ever been disappointed. Fantastic!

Setting is very nice, love the idea of having several booths instead of the usual dining tables. Waiters/ Waitresses wore traditional Asian cultured clothes which were so beautiful and iconic- adds to the experience. Decent prices, and delicious food.

Nice clean establishment, brilliant attentive waitering and delicious food. It's difficult enough finding a good quality oriental restaurant, finding a halal one in Nottingham is an even bigger rarity. Parking is sometimes an issue due to congestion. Cost of parking locally is a pound after 6pm, free after 8pm. We were welcomed into the fine establishment. The decor was appealing to the eye. The menu varies, with dishes from different areas of the far East. Portion sizes are generous so be careful not to order too much. Waitresses will happily pack any leftovers to take home. Public toilets available upstairs- they were spectacularly clean. The skittles mocktail is definitely one to try. Overall, a wonderful experience. The only negative I'd point out, is the absence of barbeque items that haven't been available, for every one of my visits, spanning a few years at least. American express accepted.

Waitress was a trainee, as needed to consult other staff members several times and didn't know the menu well. We weren't asked how was the service and if we enjoyed it, no one even paid attention to us leaving after bill was payed. On the other hand, not considering service, food experience was good. Typical Asian reception, smarty dressed waitresses in authentic Asian clothing served us a fantastic meal, the food was faultless and at very reasonable prices as well. I wasn't expecting them to be as good as they are; their food and service was beyond anything I have ever experienced in a restaurant outside London. The term Pan Asian is correctly used by this establishment; they offer dishes from a multitude of Asian regions but do not blend dishes from different cultures to create what is known as Asian fusion food. Often a large menu can mean dishes are hit and miss depending on the chef speciality but this isn't the case here and all dishes I sampled were well prepared. The menu is intimidating due to its size but at least almost everyone will find something to their liking.
