Absolutely loved it. I had a cheesecake here for the first time and it was so good. Ambience is pleasant and staff is very polite and attentive. It is an independent business and I can tell they are doing it right!

The best place to get ice cream, other types of desserts, cakes as well as soft drinks. The place has both inside and outside setting areas. It's also wheelchair accessible. The shop situated along Radford road.The customer service was excellent. Clean and tidy shop. I will highly recommend this place

I last came here around 5 years ago. The decor has improved and it looks better on the whole The menu however has been heavily simplified in terms of desserts, which was a little disappointing However the quality is still there and the service was great too. The customer service is exceptionally good, which in this day and age is hard to find. The proprietor catered to our needs. He was knowledgeable about his products. The dessert was well presented and went down a treat. Well done Yumi!

Pros - Certain staff were absolutely brilliant, very kind and patient with us! Decor was really nice, presentation of deserts was good. Cons - After 20 minutes of ordering; I was told they could not serve me an item that I wanted, I specifically went to the display to ask what the item was called so I could order it, i should of been told then! Waited total of 30 minutes for our order which was a total of 2 cookie doughs and 4 scoops of ice cream in total. Way too long to wait! I'm sorry guys I know you are busy but that's just too long. We know people make mistakes as we are all human but communication needs to be upgraded, i do normally give places second chances but unfortunately because of this experience, I will not be coming again. Best of luck guys

Amazing selection of desserts and ice creams that not only taste good but are presented well too. The place has a long and narrow interior which seems a bit crowded and difficult to navigate especially when it's busy. Where the service could be improved, the quality of desserts compensates this

We want for ice cream only. £5.60 for 2 ice creams, one and two scoops. Flavours were nice and the consistency was creamy. Some ice creams lacked a flavour tag and the lady serving was so quiet we barely heard what she said. However that's just a detail and the ice cream was nice. The selection of flavours is quite good and different from the ordinary.

Great food. The best thing I found however was the service. Your staff is amazing, so nice, friendly and helpful! Special thanks to the white girl in hijab. You made my day. I'd come there again just because of you. It definitely would be 5 stars but guys. You need to change those chairs, they look like you stole them from some old dodgy barbershop.

Decent place for Notts. I come from Leicester were we are spoilt for choice with very good dessert places so this place didn't have anything that stood out as very good. 10/10 for presentation though...we had the pancakes and the spaghetti ice cream

Been to yumi’s some years ago, so thought to visit again after a nice meal. Staff was amazing both boys said never seen someone, so polite and helpful. Didn't have time to take pictures, but during a busy evening for Yumi's, they served my kids and their cousin's some awesome ice creams (10 ice creams). The style of Yumi is really is nice. Products such as the variety of desserts are really good too I'm a regular customer. Once or twice a week. Yet the challenge is the pace of the team. You can be waiting 15 minutes for a simple black coffee or a dessert. Despite not being busy. Team are pleasent but unfocused.

Just had a Deliveroo takeaway from yumi. It was amazing, if you have the Molton chocolate cake, put it in the microwave for 30 seconds (thank me later) prompt delivery, amazing desserts, we will definitely be back!

I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers are complaining about. We walk in grab a menu, sit down and once everyone had made their mind up we go up to the counter and order. Up until that point we are completely ignored by the staff as it's not a waiter service. We go regularly and have no complaints. There is a wide selection of desserts some hot food like panninis and drinks. Definitely worth a visit.

By far the best deserts in Nottingham. I loved my experience at Yumi. I was greeted as I walked through the door and was served my the lovely young man with the glasses. He gave me a waiting time and stuck by it incredibly. I must say he does deserve credit as he was alone on the counter and the shop was very busy yet he managed to get all the orders out and I have not seen such potential in someone so young before. He was serving, making, cleaning and taking payments. His incredible service and beautifully made desert has made me want to come back for more. See you soon Yumi. -Morgan

There's a very large range of ice cream flavours available. A bit limited when it comes to lactose-free variants but there are sorbets. I ordered the Lotus-Biscoff Flavoured Ice cream which had a great flavour match, the texture was quite different. The staff are so lovely and the shop strictly ensures social distancing and measures to ensure COVID-safe practices. Would recommend.

And here we are again, my daughter loves their paninis. I don't normally comment about simple things like cheese and onion fillings but on this occasion I feel I want to. This was not a regular cheese and onion panini, it was in face the best I've had! With spring onions, red onions and mixed herbs it gave it so much flavour. As always the service is fab, the staff are friendly and very welcoming. Great place for families.

I love hyson green. Sick of peeps slagging off what I found to be a fascinating slice of culture clashes☺I was served today by a smiley lady who was lovely. This is a fantastic parlour for sweet treats and paninis. The ice cream is creamy and gorgeous!! Kulfi was on offer which to those who don't know it is an iced marzipan taste sensation.😂 had the banana scoop with pistachio Kulfi. OMG! The other flavours include trifle, butterscotch and mango etc. Could easily become a gelatoholic.
