Came pumpkin picking as somewhere new to try. Really lovely little farm, stunning views over the beach. Little cafe serving their famous ice cream and hot chocolates. They were Halloween themed and tasted really good. Then we walked through the maze to the pumpkin patch. Was great fun. Parking and toilets Dogs on leads were welcome too..

Good ice cream, in a nice location by the sea. Great for a stop off on the way back from Mothecombe. Quite a queue even at 1630 on a Sunday. Good range of flavours and options. I had an excellent lemon, lime and ginger sorbet, but was slightly let down by the green apple.

Stopped on the way to Mothecombe beach and can hands down say that the surfing cow do the best ice cream you’ll ever taste. Can strongly recommend their piña colada, lime and mascarpone and aero mint flavours!

Went there for the first time recently and we were shocked to see a field full of cars. We thought they must be there for something else but no, a massive queue but it moved along quickly as they had a very efficient system going. The ice cream itself was absolutely delicious and so worth the wait. The choice of flavours was amazing and I would highly recommend

Lucky to have been invited to a brilliant time at surfing cow. Let alone the fabulous ice cream. The talk before hand was very informative, and they obviously have loyal staff. Very cherry ripple ice cream was just heavenly. Had to try it twice to make sure If you have a chance to go try it. Loads of seating and wonderful views.

Delicious gelato. I had a toffee apple one. But there is 10 flavours to try on your cone. But lots more to buy to take home and they supply a freezer bag. So it doesn't melt. Awsome

Tucked away, in the middle of nowhere, lies this absolute gem. In an inconspicuous farm building lies some of the best ice cream I've tasted in Devon. With a wide range of flavours on offer, from your every day (award winning) Devon vanilla to your more adventurous mascarpone and salted caramel, as well as a selection of sorbets, there is something to cater for all tastes. Served in your everyday wafer cone, more luxurious waffle cones, or a special unicorn cone as a treat for the children or big kids alike, the servings are generous. The counter staff are very friendly and happy to reel of each of the flavours to you, and can no doubt give you some further insight into the background of the ice cream. With your ice cream in your hand, step out the back and take a seat at one of their picnic benches overlooking the valley down to the sea, a view that is had to beat! They have just added a new maze to walk in and keep you occupied for a little longer, and there are walls of facts and photos in the farm shop to engage with the working farm, the cows and the staff. I love a farm ice cream shop, and this one did not disappoint at all, highly recommend a visit if nearby, or looking for a trip out. I believe you can even reach the beach nearby - though that may be a little bit of a trek over some fields, so double check on that one!

If i could give these guys a 10 star rating i would .. Visited the Devon Country show 17th August , with a group of disabled people ,after lunch every body fancied an ice cream .So went to the nearest ice cream van Kellys ice creams Cornwall the man serving was rude and would not serve us as we had a twenty pound note great advert for Kellys ice cream . so found the next ice cream seller this was Surfing Cow Ice cream these guys were fantastic and bent over backwards for the 3 ladies that were wheel chair bound UNLIKE KELLY ICE CREAM . Not only were the Surfing Cow ice cream friendly and helpful but the ice cream was absolutely fantastic

Recently, attended The Country Show at Newton Abbot Racecourse.... after not very good treatment, by Kelly’s ice cream , myself and 3 elderly disabled ladies and one partially sighted man,, bought our very lovely ice creams from The Surfing Cow, these girls could not be nicer ,actually taking the time , to approach the ladies to ask what they would like, the ice cream was amazing, can’t thankyou ladies enough .
