I have always loved this traditional sweet shop, have not been for over 10years but walking back in was like arriving in Wonderland. Please visit this shop if you love retro sweets

One of our favourite sweet shops ever! (And we have been to quite a few!) The lady who served us was so helpful and kind, and lovely with my little boy. And there was lots of choice too, they even stock the double salted liquorice that makes me think of home. Loved it!

There are still penny candy stores in the world. There are even such things as gobstoppers which were only a film fantasy in my Willy Wonka childhood. I told the young shopgirl that as an American child I thought gobstoppers were invented for the film and she said "bless you"! And I wanted to turn back the clock and shrink down to the size of this little girl in the photo with my hand full of coins and a small bag for dreams.

Ye olde worlde sweet shop couldn't handle the sour sweets as to sour . Very helpful people and very nice and quaint .

Been visiting here all my life. Perfect place to treat kids. Perfect place for big kids to over indulge them selfs too. I always come here before I go on holiday. I buy 1 massive bag for holiday and a small one so I don’t touch the big one till I’m on holiday. If you’re in the area, worth a visit. Amazing place.

Great sweet shop, large variety of sweets and chocolates. They also have a fridge at the back with drink cans and bottles if you're thirsty. I would recommend coming here! Edit: I went there during lockdown and there were no social distancing guidelines whatsoever.

I have been coming to this store since I was old enough to eat sweets. The owners are incredible to keep this shop going and to still have penny sweets. I make the trip from Sydney (my home for 14 years) to travel back to my home in Dibden and always make a stop to this store. You won't regret it, the selection is vast and it will take you back to your child hood memories, any memory where there were sweets and a pair of tongs, paper bags and coins burning a hole in your pocket... Lovely sweets, a wide range to pick. You can end up spending a lot of money here where there is such a wide range to choose from, the staff are lovely and very accommodating, I liked the way e sweets were traditionally weighed out and put into little bags. Lovely overall, and very tasty and fresh.
