Honestly, outstanding!! I'm a huge fan of Indian cuisine, it's absolutely my favourite dine in/take out/delivery! I also love city breaks, and we always oot for Indian cuisine. BUT....... nothing had yet compared to the Tamarind, Pontardawe. Not the food or the staff. Try it!!!

Nice tasting food but tonight almost 2hours so far still no delivery i rang got told 10 minutes over half hour ago..now no answer. There was 1 man answering multiple phones more staff needed. Poor delivery today

I frequent the Tam as both customer and to carry out maintenance Fouad and staff are great, I love the food and the way they will adjust the heat of dishes to meet the customers preferences. Finally, As one who frequently finds himself lying under kitchen units carrying our repairs I can confirm that the kitchens are spotless, even where one can’t normally see Shame one can only give 5 stars

The food here is absolutely fantastic - delicious, always well prepared and they never keep you waiting long. The staff are so friendly and have always treated us so warmly, they always try to give us the best tables and make sure we're looked after. Can't recommend them enough. Also the Sunday buffet is definitely worth checking out!

This is a lovely, amazing and fantastic way to try new foods from India. The food is well cooked and on a sunday there is a buffet were you can go up to the food which is on a table and help yourself. It is so nice to go with your family and pend time with them. The waiters are so friendly and talkative. I would recommend that you go and take a visit

We enjoyed the food we had and service was quick. I had a vegetarian aubergine curry dish and hubby had the Lamb pasanda. I think the food can be a mixed bag though as we overhead a couple complaining about their meal as the lamb was too tough. Not sure if this was because the restaurant and takeaway was busy when we arrived and staff were rushed off their feet.

It's a really lovely Indian restaurant and probably the best in Pontardawe. The restaurant is modern and relaxed and staff are very helpful and well presented. This place offers takeaway too and takes cards which is a massive plus as many of the takeaways in the area only accept cash.

Of all the curry houses in Pontardawe, all of which are fine, the Tamarind, to me at least, stands head and shoulders above them. It has become the go-to venue for an evening out with friends and food. The service is exemplary and every so friendly, the food itself is truly delicious. There is good selection of drinks, with Welsh beers and ciders being amongst the more traditional offerings. I cannot state enough how much we enjoy our curry nights out in the Tamarind.

Visited on New Years day, were seated promptly.The Decor was pleasant and the Greeting was very warm and friendly. Menu came quickly and was well organised to choose the dishes. Also to mention the only Indian restaurant that i have been to recently playing some decent Bollywood music. Food was very Tasty and was served quickly. The prices of the dishes was reasonable. Overall a very satisfying experience and would say One of the best restaurants in and around Swansea.
