Really amazing vegan ice cream, the peanut chocolate chip was so delicious, and a good twist on making ice cream with liquid nitrogen. Another gem found to enjoy.

Not Every Day you get to try something a bit different. Fantastic - liquid nitrogen ice cream as you wait is defo a first, The shop is great, staff where good has small chat, there was easy menu something for everyone. The price was on pair with normal ice cream and tasted great too. Totally must go if your in York, we will visit again on our next trip. 👍🥳😍

I don't think enough is made of this ice cream cafe using liquid nitrogen! A rotating menu means there is always something new to try.

I loved this place! The ice cream was amazing and made at the moment. The flavours were quite original, even though not many. For almost every flavour is even possibile to choose a vegan option. There is also a wide choice of toppings to put on the ice cream. The girls were nice and friendly.

The ice cream is made to order, isn't too sweet and is well portioned. The selection is focused that means one shouldn't compare with the range offered ice cream van or other shops with premade ice cream.

Absolutely wonderful. Popped in today to get out of the rain and was glad we did. Owners were wonderful and welcoming. Tried their new festive drink and pumpkin ice cream. Would definitely recommend. Great staff, even better ice cream. It's very different to normal ice cream. Because it freezes so quickly, large ice crystals cannot form, so it is buttery smooth but not buttery sickly. Highly recommend the Turkish delight. Of the 3 we tried it was the winner, closely followed by the Raspberry pavlova.

Had the apple pie ice cream and it was super delicious! The owners were so friendly and we had a good chat. The apple flavouring was all homemade, and the portion was huge - enough for three to share! Great value for money and will definitely be back next time I visit York!

We've been going since it opened! Wonderful place! The kids love watching the ice cream being made. There's sometimes a lineup (on nice weather days) but the wait isn't very long and it's a nice street on which to people watch and take in the scene. There's vegan options (though I haven't tried them yet) and everything I have tried is tasty!

Nice little place. Me and my mates stopped here for some ice cream to cool down in the 29c heat. They have fairly limited options but the options on offer are quite varied so although you don't have a huge variety to choose from, it's fairly quick to decide what you want which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Some. Flavours I remember off the top of my head are bubblegum, malteasers and watermelon. I went with watermelon and it was brilliant, they actually blitzed bits of watermelon in the ice cream itself so it wasn't 'watermelon flavoured' as such, it was actual watermelon ice cream. The only downside of this place is a rather ironic one. And that is the temperature inside the shop (which is small as it is), was extremely hot. If I were to guess the temperature inside the shop I'd say it was about 35c, it was cooler to wait outside in the baking heat. Not really a problem but it meant waiting for your order to be filled was rather uncomfortable. But to be honest the wait is worth it as its probably one of the better ice cream places I've been to. Definitely recommended, but it's just a tad ironic that a shop selling ice cream was hotter than the outside temperature. Some AC please especially for the staff :)

I've been 3 times now since they opened as I really can't resist! They offer quite a few vegan / non-dairy flavours and each one I've tried has been so delicious! Turkish Delight flavour, Oreo flavour and my favourite which is Peanut Butter and Chocolate. There are other flavours which can be made vegan too. No doubt I'll be back before long!

Amazing vegan ice cream, best ice cream I've had in years, easily beats Ben & Jerrys! The portion size is very generous for £3.50 too. I'll be going back soon to try their other flavours.

Had to get some of the icecream as they make it fresh with nitrogen! Got some nitrogen made to order icecream while I was in Berlin so I had to try York’s version! A bit expensive as we got a Nutella and a peanut butter and chocolate with 3 extra toppings for 75p, think it came out to £7 something... anyhow the Nutella icecream really tasted like Nutella! It was absolutely beautiful! The peanut chocolate one was beautiful as there was actual chunks of peanut and lots of chocolate in it! Beautiful! I would love to come again and try your vegan options as I’m lactose intolerant. Anyway the icecream was worth it! Beautiful! Thankyou! Also we sat outside on the bench in the sun and the lassie in the shop went for lunch I think and sadly a customer didn’t have any patience to even wait 5mins for the lassie to have a break!

Amazing ice cream, really fun, and cost effective. However we tried to return the next day and they don’t post hours on the storefront and weren’t open when their facebook page and google said they should be — pity though because we missed the delicious ice cream! Go when you can.

This is the tastiest icecream you'll ever try, I recommend the Nutella flavour. The spectacle of the staff making the icecream in front of you is part of the experience (though does mean you might have to wait for a while). Prices for icecream are £3.50 plus optional extras, but you get plenty of icecream so we usually share.

Nitrogen makes for the smoothest ice cream, and I also loved that the Turkish Delight flavour wasn't too sweet. It's my favourite ice cream parlour in York but I'd say it's aimed more at adults than kids, which is no bad thing.
