I can't recommend the service that Stuart and Louise at Maslen Financial Services provided highly enough. They were absolutely outstanding and a real support through all of the trials and tribulations of buying our home. The whole team is incredibly knowledgeable and really care about their clients. We are so thrilled to be in our new home and can't thank them enough for helping us navigate the mortgage process to secure it. My partner and I spoke to various mortgage advisors in the area of Brighton and Hove. We chose to work with Stuart because whenever I'd ask a question, the answers were clear and easy for me to understand and I feel that as it was the first time we have both a house, it needs to be clear for me what is happening without using the technical jargon, which I found that the other mortgage advisor use! Then, luckily we also have been dealing with Louise. Both are a fantastic pair of professionals to work with. When our solicitors were having issues with some confirmations from the lenders, as soon as I'd contact Stuart or Louise they had what the lawyer was looking for, making the process quicker and clear. If a fried asks me if I know a mortgage advisor, I wouldn't hesitate to point them in Stuart and Louise's direction.

We met with Stuart at the Lewes Road branch of Maslen. We discussed our financial situation and Stuart ran through the options available to us. That gave us the confidence to put an offer on the house we wanted, which we ended up buying. As we'd already gone over the situation, Stuart sent us a list of required documents for the mortgage application. Then we heard back fairly quickly that we'd been accepted. There was a small error in the initial paperwork, but it was easily corrected after a phone call, and a replacement offer was issued by the lender with all details correct. I don't think we were a difficult case, but it was very easy for us. Got the best rate we could hope for and didn't really have to do much on our end.

I recently purchased my first home and decided to go with Stuart as my advisor after lots of researching different brokers and products. As a first time buyer, I was expecting the whole process to be confusing and overwhelming but Stuart sat down with me and carefully explained everything so clearly, it helped me to make an informed decision.
