First contected Bennison Brown in July 2021 when starting the process of buying our first home. Had a few calls with Chris who was helpful and explained everything to us clearly having never done this before and gave us a selection of mortgage options. Months passed but Chris kept in contact via email to see how things were. We had an offer accepted on a property and we just needed to send through all the relevant documents and it was taken care of! At this stage we spoke with Milan, who again, explained to us different options with insurance and made it nice and clear for us having never done this before. Bobbie, our case manager was also fab and answered any questions we had quickly, even the ones that felt silly to us.

Keith has been excellent in assisting us finding a mortgage. He was always prompt when getting us a DIP when we placed an offer on a property, and walked us through the mortgage offer in detail. The rest of the team we dealt with was very professional, helpful and quick to respond as well. Definitely would recommend Bennison Brown to others who are looking to get a mortgage. There is £480 fee for their services, but in my opinion their client relations, always quick responses, and finding availability for us was definitely worth it.

Got our mortgage with Bobbie and Keith at Bennison Brown was an absolute pleasure. They were completely patient with us when we had a million questions and scenarios where we wanted an idea of affordability, risk and numbers for. They were patient when our house offers kept getting rejected, and patient through one of us changing jobs during the mortgage application. We went directly with the bank the first time we got a mortgage and it was stressful wondering if we got everything, trying to gather everything on time and not having a good idea if we had a chance to get the mortgage - Bennison Brown made us aware of our chances alot earlier and got us to prepare documentation in good time so it removed a lot of the stress. Yes a mortgage advisor is worth it. Yes they are independent/unbiased. Well if i could give Steven Morris a 100 stars i would he has been fantastic from to start to finish, because i am self employed and get paid via CIS scheme i thought it would be a nightmare to get a mortgage with my wife as i am the chief wage earner but nope Steve managed to sort it out and made everything so simple and easy went into everything to make sure we had the best possible mortgage that suited us plus he managed to sort out all related insurances and surveys that we needed, i would recommend anyone who works in the trade who needs a mortagage to come to this top bloke first, has taken the stress out of house buying, both me and the Wife thank you for all your hard work will not go anywhere else now
