I highly recommend Rob and Langley House Mortgages for anyone looking to secure a mortgage. Having started my own business in 2021, I only had one years accounts to submit for a mortgage. Robs knowledge on this subject was outstanding. His ability to understand the market and highlight areas which helped our application was impressive. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more from Rob and the team. After 2 very lengthy and unhelpful phone calls with our mortgage company at the time, who clearly couldn’t be bothered to keep us as customers we just wanted at the very least some advice which they didn’t want to give. They instead gave us a month wait to speak to someone who was useless. I immediately got through to Rob and wasn’t left waiting at all. We had to move fast seeing as so much time was wasted previously and on the same day Rob found us an amazing deal and saved us thousands. He is so knowledgeable and clearly knows what he is talking about. Rob flagged to us that our life insurance wasn’t great from what he could see so he suggested speaking to his colleague Alex, no pressure at all to do this. We had an offer accepted on 10 March, had a mortgage offer by 17 March, and had the buildings and life insurance sorted by 29 March! Our sellers wanted to move quickly and we wanted to understand exactly what we were signing up for, and Langley House turned out to be excellent for both of these purposes. Mitch walked us through all the different mortgage options and found us a competitive interest rate and monthly payments that work within our budget. He also has the inside knowledge of which banks tend to move quickly, so we were able to take that into account with our decision as well. We also worked with Alex to discuss various insurance options and find the right level of cover for our needs, which was very helpful as we've only ever had contents insurance in the past. He found us competitive rates at a level that works within our budget. Both were very prompt at getting back to any queries and available to talk to at times that worked with our schedules. We weren't initially planning to use a broker but we are now glad we did!
