We contacted Shiva in a desperate situation having been turned down by a lender following a random head office audit. We had just moved into a rental flat with our two young children, having sold our house and were extremely concerned that we would not be able to get a mortgage and that our purchase would fall through. We didn't think it would be possible to get our mortgage, but was then put in contact with John Ovington. This was after working with quite a few mortgage brokers for many months. We had a number of things against us- income paid in different countries, no leave to remain, and during COVID. He found us a lender in about ten days. The best things about working with John was his responsiveness and realistic approach- we never had to pick up the phone to wonder what was going on. His updates were almost daily, and if we had a question he would pick up every time. He was prepared, and it felt like we really had someone in our corner.
