Approached Velvet to assist with a mortgage and the service was amazing and 2nd to none. Very responsive and keeping me up to date with the whole process and due to the situation was able to offer me a DIP the same day and mortgage offer from bank within days. I contacted Joanna to help me find a mortgage as I'm newly self employed. I was told that I wasn't going to get one due to my circumstances. Joanna set up a WhatsApp group for me and her team to exchange details and share information. The process was very slick and I received an offer in principle. FANTASTIC SERVICE! We cant rate Velvet Mortgages & Insure highly enough. The service we have received has been incredible! Our initial contact was with Joanna who is incredibly knowledgeable with all things relating to mortgages and insurance, and the thing that stands out and shines through is how much she genuinely cares and is passionate about what she does, she genuinely wants to help people get placed with the right product for them. We used VMIS because we were looking at changing our life insurance as we were paying a large amount each month and we felt there might be a cheaper alternative out there. Not only did Joanna place us with a cheaper product (SAVING US £170 A MONTH!!!!!!) but she was able to provide us with much better cover, including sick cover which is so important to us being self employed, cover for our 2 children and a much more detailed / comprehensive life cover plan should the worse happen. Joanna took the time to explain everything to us, which has never happened before when taking out life insurance – normally you get told the maximum you will be insured for should the worse happen and then how much it will cost you per month, but Joanna is so thorough – she went through everything with us. Once we agreed on the right policy for us Bell in the office made sure everything ran smoothy for us, keeping us updated every step of the way and ensuring we were on track in terms of getting everything sent over in time. She was so lovely to deal with, very professional and helpful when I had any queries. She completely took away all the hassle of filling in the paperwork ourselves and once she had completed everything / set up direct debits etc kept us updated. We cant recommend VMIS highly enough to anyone wanting excellent / professional advice and would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to all the team for everything they have done to help us.

I’d like to write a testimonial for Joanna Streames for the work she did in helping friends of mine when buying a house. From start to finish, I am told that Joanna was just amazing. My friends are both teachers, and so they have very limited access to their phones during the day, but from what I have been told, Joanna was available at times that always suited them.
