We’ve been a customer of Sentinel for at least 7 years now, the whole team are very commendable they go above and beyond any other broker I’ve dealt with. Our account manager works extremely hard to get the best possible deal and will go direct to the underwriter to deal with any issues we may find and finds results every time. Great communication is key with dealing with insurance and the whole team work amazingly fast especially when it comes to claims handling, we work closely together to keep premiums to a minimum they really do appreciate all customers and work hard to help keep our business running smoothly. Both myself and my partner have got to know the team very well over the years you will never feel as though you and your business is another statistic which may feel hard to believe when it comes to purchasing insurance of all things but it’s very true. If you're in the Self Drive Hire & Motor Trade business and aren't using Sentinel, I'm 95% sure there's savings to be made and a much better experience to be had. Our account manager Ian turned up and promised us a better solution than our current PAYG policy we've had for over 20 years. He sent over a quote within a few days and it has been perfect since then. Claims are also handled promptly with average total time from report to settlement being about 2 weeks. Special thanks to Ian this year for sorting out our renewal 9 hours before I was about to go on holiday. He worked to try and negotiate with the insurers for us and get the cover we wanted, not the cover they were trying to sell. We're happy that we've now got a better deal, with a trusted insurer and broker, a trained claims team, risk management rebate and 1 easy monthly price. Whilst it might be unprofessional, we love you Sentinel and look forward to continuing our journey with you. We’ve been renting vehicles for nearly 50 years, and over that period have dealt we many different insurance companies, last year we discovered Sentinel Insurance . We wish we’d found them years ago. They are very professional, in every aspect of vehicle hire insurance, whether it’s the quotation procedure, rental procedures and driver verification, through to accident reporting and regular follow ups. They obviously know the rental insurance market very well and sourced us a competitive and professional provider,which was important to us ,as in the past as we have discovered you sometimes get what you pay for. The information we receive is always very clear and concise as to who we can and cannot rent to, which makes it very helpful, when you have those difficult customers standing in front of you in reception with a driving licence that you are not too sure about. Overall a great company to deal with.

When you have to ring your insurance company let’s be honest, you ve most likely got a problem. A stolen vehicle? Fire? Or even a global pandemic! Hopefully these incidents are few and far between but when they do occur it’s vital for business to have the correct cover & support in place. We have Been working with sentinel For over 10 years. From the offset James had noticed a potential insurance risk gap within our current policy. James very quickly sent an insurance approved security assessor to make recommendations and allowed us to implement within a reasonable time scale whilst maintaining cover. Sentinel then also managed to get us a 50% rebate of the insurance for any added security expenses When a customer hired a brand-new VW Crafter on their own insurance and weeks later the customer wrote the vehicle off and their insurance refused to pay out! Yet again sentinel managed to get us a pay out And finally as COVID-19 hit - James reevaluated our insurance risk based on lower turnover and vehicle activity. Resulting in a saving of over £12000 monthly insurance premiums. Their tentative but thorough approach from the offset makes sure all risks are evaluated. Claims are dealt with proactively helping to keep to overall costs down. The support team are also on hand should we have a question or concern. Overall I don’t I think I would like to run a hire business without the assurance and support of sentinel.
