This is our second new boat from Inspiration Marine Group. We were delighted with our first boat and the Hanse Brand, but the real reason for buying another Hanse was the amazing service from Phil Dollin and the whole team at IMG. Their professionalism, patience, care and attention to detail in everything they do is outstanding. Buying anything in 2021 with Covid, Brexit and extended lead times has been a challenge for all of us. IMG took all of this in their stride without any fuss and without blaming others! If you are thinking of buying a new boat go and meet the people at IMG first, the Hanse will sell itself, but it’s the people who will make the difference. Richard and Sharon Johnson

Having enjoyed the experience of buying my Dehler 34 through the IMG group, I chose their brokerage to sell the boat, even though I am based on the East Coast. Outstanding support from the friendly and patient team at Inspiration Marine Group. My purchase of a new Hanse 418 went smoothly, with proactive and positive communication and involvement form the IMG team at every stage. Nothing was too much of a problem! The 418 wasn't originally on my short list, but the more I looked under the skin and behind lockers the more impressed I became with the construction and attention to detail. Having built two boats I know where to look for the corners that have been cut - but couldn't find any! These hulls are solid and the quality of the laminate is the best I have seen. There is a lot of thought and experience that goes into these boats and the folks at IMG have delivered hundreds of boats so have a huge amount of experience they can call on to guide prospective owners. I doubt there will be any problems, and 3rd party equipment failures can happen but I feel reassured that I am dealing with a very knowledgeable and experienced team who will support me.

We have recently taken delivery of a Dehler 34 and found all the staff at Inspiration Marine a pleasure to deal with. We initially met with Phil, he immediately put us at ease with his relaxed and friendly approach, over the weeks Phil was extremely patient and never once tried to apply any pressure to finalise the deal. Minor issues that have arisen in the course of the construction and delivery have been dealt with in a professional and friendly manor by Andy, Adam and Rosie. We feel assured that we are in safe hands for any future assistance that may be required in the months ahead.

Outstanding support from a great team. This is the second new boat that we have bought from Inspiration Marine Group. We spent a long time looking at what sort of boat we wanted to move up to after the Hanse 315. I lost count of the different different dealers and Boat Show stands we went to over a period of a year. It was not just the Hanse 348 that made us return but of equal importance the confidence and pleasure we got from working with the Inspiration Marine Team; Phil, Andy, Dan, Russell and Rosie. It was a difficult time for all as we went through the worst of the pandemic. The support during the design and commissioning was outstanding. Late changes and modifications we wanted were sorted out, the quality of the fitting out was excellent and they project managed a couple of other contractors to do some specialist work. Dan oversaw the handover and I have never seen a better eye for detail! He absolutely went through the boat with a fine tooth comb before we were allowed near it. It has been great to work with the team again and to know that they are always just at the end of a telephone to swiftly respond if I need help. Thanks you to all.

IMG has been great to work with in the whole process; making sure we have the right specifications, commissioning, handover and after sales. I've purchased two new Hanse yachts from Inspiration. My first was a Hanse 400e. I was uncertain about the brand as it was then unknown to me; Inspiration couldn't have been more helpful in letting me take my time over the purchase. There was no "high pressure" salesmanship. Inspiration's post purchase support has been exemplary; the company is justly regularly praised by Hanse owners for this - and indeed wins accolade after accolade for its standards. When the time came to go for a larger yacht I had no hesitation in going back to Inspiration for my Hanse 455. If anything the after sales service had even improved. IMG's sister brokerage business handled the sale of my Hanse 400e and ensured a trouble free and timely transaction. If I ever have an issue to deal with I can be sure that Phil Dollin or Andy Locke will respond without any delay (inc "out of hours") and arrange whatever is necessary. I've noticed that IMG will even help out other Hanse owners - even though they may not be customers - with free advice when requested. IMG's technical knowledge of the product range is truly impressive. I'm a big fan of IMG and the team there.

I have a tired Hanse and took it to two yards to get quotes for a major refit, because we thought Inspiration only sold boats and didn't do much more than warranty work. I went to them for advice, to then find they did complete project management for refits. It's saved me a fortune because they know all the trade shortcuts and have such amazing product knowledge that only a Hanse dealer could know. My boat is probably better now than it was new - literally - and it was a cheaper refit than two full-service yards offered me. Five stars, only because I cannot give six out of five!

We recently encountered engine problems whilst crossing the pacific, Phil and the engineers stayed well into the night relaying technical support over the sat phone to get us back up and running!

In taking to them through, I got the confidence to buy a sound but very tired boat at good value, to then deliver her to Phil & the Inspiration team to recommission her. I’m just 2 weeks away from a six week refit that has been a pleasure to oversee. They know the product like obsessive anoraks, they choose suppliers & contractors with an knsjght normal owners couldn’t dream of, they negotiate way better prices than I could do....yet still have a passion for perfection & quality as it is it was their own boat they were buying. I’ve saved myself tens of thousands of pounds against buying a better conditioned boat at the outset, yet will end up with probably the finest pre-owned 575’s in the world. No; REALLY.
