Gareth is great at understanding client requirements and individual (in our case - quite complex) circumstances and tailoring a mortgage product to fit. Once a lender and product has been identified, Kelly and Gareth take care of everything with the lender, keep you updated throughout and are always easy to get hold of. We recently used South Coast Mortgages to buy our first home. I was very new to the situation and found Alex Thew to be very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He was always available on the phone - told me I can phone him weekends, evenings, etc if I had any questions at all about the process. I even phoned him once while he was playing golf at the weekend and he still happily took the time out to talk to me. They also sorted out our life insurance and found a better price than I could find anywhere on the comparison sites. Kelly also took care of many parts of the process and she was also very friendly and professional. When we had moved into our home, they even sent us a personalised house-warming present which was a very nice touch. Gareth and Kelly are the shining stars of the mortgage service world. Buying your first house can be stressful for anyone. Dealing with finances and solicitors and knowing that you will be be investing so much can be daunting. When I first contacted Gareth, he put all my fears to rest.
