First MortgageHighly recommended! Simply because the mortgage advisor Denise and case manager Lorraine are so professional and responsive! Denise could always find the best deal for me, and always explained it clearly and patiently! Even if you had another thought she would be willing to listen and tried to follow your thoughts and compare for you, so you know what you got is the best! Because of the trust, I even started to have life insurance with her (I didn't have this kind of insurance before) and again she tried to find the best deal for me! Lorraine as the case manager, was always first time reply my question! And updated me once she had anything! With her efficiency, you know you never got delayed! Unfortunately, the solicitors during my buying process, on the contrary, was so slow, not professional.... That comparison makes Denise and Lorraine even better! I used service of Denise and Lorraine before, and we just done this time, I will for sure use their service in next time, and time!

From start to finish its been a great experience. I had the pleasure of dealing with Jen and Rach. What a dream team. From all the professional advice, to answering my queries there has been no fault. All of the correspondence, which was always in a timely manner, has been informative and personalised by the girls ability to be open and relaxed, asking how we are doing ect gave the experience a real nice touch. They have kept everything from my mortgage application to life and building insurance applications quick and easy. Taking care of updates to policy as things moved on. Even advised me on what to watch out for when dealing with estate agents and saved me a canny penny. 100 percent would recommend. Be sure to ask plenty of questions as you will get answers that will smooth over any first time buyer anxiety. You won't be disappointed.

I left my previous mortgage advisor who kept leaving me in the dark for up to 7 days with no update and ignored calls. Upon searching on Google I came across First Mortgages and saw their amazing reviews. There was an option on the website to receive a call at 11:45. It was only five minutes away so i thought I'd give it a go. I thought this would be a guideline time but they called bang on and asked me a few questions about what I wanted. As it was a buy to let referral I was then referred to a specialised in BTLs which was Chris. All I had to do here was book in a time to discuss a product, do a soft check and we had a product. In about a week or so we went to valuation and a few days later got the outcome. Chris has replied to me at an impressive rate of speed, he's very polite and professional on the call, answers all your questions and clearly explained how he'll keep me updated in regards to contact with the lender. I don't think there's been more than 48 hours were I haven't been informed of what's going on and that connection to the customer is absolutely crucial. I feel overwhelmingly confident in First Mortgage's professionalism, dedication and work ethic. I'm absolutely thrilled I made the choice to ring them as at the time I was feeling really beaten down with poor estate agents I'd been dealing with and the bad mortgage advice company i was dealing with before. I was close to just packing it in altogether. I also found another property i wanted to go for and although that didn't work out, Chris was able to get me another mortgage agreement for that one almost instantly! I was gobsmacked as the confirmation i needed to send to the agent would have been on my fingertips had it been a goer. I have also been offered help on everything from life assurance, landlord insurance, buildings and valuation upgrades and solicitor details. It's just been the perfect package! I know of an estate agent in Newcastle who is looking for a new mortgage company to refer clients to and I'll be passing on these details. Thanks for everything so far and I'm so overwhelmingly delighted to be dealing with Chris and this company. Absolutely top class service at every possible level of interaction.

Being Customer first in practise... that what they are. Paul and Gemma are Superb!! mortgage advisory Team. Buying a house process is a painfully long one, but if you use FM… o that would be the one bight shining star in your dark winter process of lawyers, estate agents, surveyors etc..(They gave me advice that is good for me. Very few advisors, do that in this industry.) First, I started with a call from Paul. He quickly walked me through the overview of how the process would work and what I would need to prepare for the application. Gave me principle offer which didn’t affect my score, but was so useful for me while placing offers (I didn’t even know it was essential... but that what a good advisor is ..) Very knowledgeable, very clear about pros and cons while helping me considering products. We had another few call (one when offer was accepted and I was ready to apply, when offer was processed, and he explained everything again that I was told when I was considering the offers) He is very punctual with calls I mean to the minute. (I really value people who appreciate value of time) Gemma is very helpful in helping me organise all my documents, sending them to lawyers, probably they are only people who reply to email within a couple of minutes. She answers question that you ask in easy to understand terms not jargons, very clear and to the point. (considering the other’s lawyers, estate agents, surveyors). I really hope this industry has more people like them…

I have been so impressed with First Mortgage. They have been so helpful, friendly and efficient from the off. Couldn't have asked for a better more professional service. Led by the brilliant Jen Pattison, it was my first time trying to get a mortgage and Jen and the company have been outstanding from start to finish.
