Living Funky have been superb throughout our multifaceted home renovation project. The renovation involved a rear extension, garage conversion, a new kitchen and multiple new bathroom installations, throughout which my wife, young daughter and I have lived on-site. Both Lindsay and Claire were actively engaged and enthusiastic about the project from the first consultation, offering us clear and accurate (as it has proved to be!) advice on the different design and build options, potential costs and likely timeframes for the project, while also respecting and seeking to work with the elements of our plans that were most important to us. Claire has offered us invaluable guidance on design and style throughout, and Lindsay has managed the whole project with calm assurance, communicating with us constantly and ensuring minimal disruption as we live and work on-site.

Claire and Lindsay took an awkward and fairly small space, (a garage and cupboard under the stairs) and came up with a great design that included a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom, utility room and storage. It was so helpful to have the design and build services all under one roof and for the builder to know the designer so well. The garage conversion has changed our lives, and taken a poor underused space and replaced it with a beautifully designed, solidly built spare room (suite) for guests, and the utility room has made doing laundry a real joy! (Well, it’s certainly more joyful than it was) The build quality is excellent, and most importantly the aftercare service has been exceptional which is truly rare these days. Any snags have been dealt with in a timely manner. We couldn’t be happier. Thanks Living Funky!

We used Livingfunky last year just before Christmas and gave them the timeframe that it must be completed before Christmas. We wanted our garage converted into a useable room (utility / bike storage / occasional guest room. ) Lindsay and Claire were friendly and professional from the start and advised us on what was possible with realistic time frames and costs. When the work started, Lindsay was excellent at keeping us informed every day about what was being done and how it was going. He kept the house very clean and minimised disruptions (for example by hanging sheets to stop dust going into the kitchen on the day they were knocking down a wall.) The workmanship was excellent and we are so pleased with our new room. What impressed me most about Livingfunky was their time keeping. They always arrived on time and when they said they would. The job was finished by Christmas as requested and exactly to budget. We would definitely use Livingfunky again for our next project!
