Faten is an impeccable interior designer, her eye for detail helped bring my first home to life. All the colours she chose, to the fabrics, to the cooperation throughout the process really helped put me at ease- anyone would be lucky to have her help make their home more WOW. Would 100% recommend!

Using Faten for our loft refurbishment was the best decision we made. She project managed the build and designed our space, providing out-of-the-box, creative and cost-effective solutions for difficult scenarios & giving us the best layout for our rooms (including things we didn't think of such as seating space- and a beautiful bookshelf for our bedroom). Best of all, I commissioned her to paint a 6m wide mural on a wall, a real wow moment which everyone comments on. The most helpful part about using Faten was that she provided really accurate visuals, meaning we could see how schemes came together. She has a great eye for colour and a superb understanding of lighting. I also found her to be really respectful of my personal tastes and polite and patient to work with. She guided us through the process so that we felt confident about design choices, big and small. My contractor also had nothing but nice things to say about her! Thank you Faten, our home is now a sanctuary!

We were thrilled with the level of care, professionalism and creativity that Faten put into our renovation project, which covered converting a traditional family home into an open-plan living space, a full and effective lighting plan, colour palette development and project managing our team of 12 builders – through a pandemic, no less. If you choose to work with Faten – and I think you should! – let her push you. There are colours, shapes, structural ideas and pieces of furniture that I wouldn’t have picked for myself, but trusting Faten’s ability to curate spaces paid off: our home is unique and eclectic, unpretentious and memorable. We have a fantastic new layout downstairs that’s full of beautiful finishes like Terazzo flooring and statement colour-blocking. That being said, I also appreciate that Faten was able to take ideas that were important to us and incorporate them into the overall design of our home. I desperately wanted the colour yellow in my bedroom, and Faten’s solution – to include it in a stunning wall mural – is both beautiful and surprising. We ask Faten to see through our garden renovation at the last minute, and she was more than happy to continue supporting us. Taking inspiration from Morocco’s Majorelle Gardens, Faten helped me create an outdoor space that truly transports you – I have been asked if I am on holiday during Google Hangouts in the garden! The garden has given us so much joy this summer, and it simply wouldn’t have been possible without Faten’s creative eye and ability to refine ideas into something that's sleek but still fun. When you’re embarking on a project as complex and comprehensive as ours was, creativity is important, but equally important is the ability to manage builders, deal with local council issues, and communicate with neighbours – Faten was excellent at this side of things, and as first time renovators we found a lot of comfort in that.

Faten was an absolute joy to work with and was full of creative and inspiring design ideas. We had an in person consultation about our garden – one that had been neglected post our building works. Faten listened attentively, worked with us to understand our preferences, and then created various options for us to work through during the session. These were done to scale, and by zoning our space through an interior design lens, she helped to visualise our options and really inspire our imagination to how our garden could look and function. The designs felt like an extension of our home. She was also extremely knowledgeable about how to approach the build and converted the final plans we settled on to a detailed scope of works for tender. I recently used Faten's services to design and style my son’s old bedroom, transforming it into an AirBnb Premium bedroom. We live in a 1930 semi-detached house. Our bedroom is located at the front with bay window. We could never have enough wardrobe space for both my husband and I and the awkward shape of the room with the bay means we have very limited furniture placement options. Coupled with an added cot bed for our newborn baby, everything was incredibly tight spaced. She can effortlessly come up with unconventional yet practical and stylish ideas that would make a home very desirable to any homeowner. The best thing was we did not even have to meet up, everything was done online. All we had to do was send her photos of our room and a floorplan, that's it! We highly recommend Faten and would use her service when we come to doing our loft and garden landscaping.
