I highly recommend Slavek Smooth Finish. Together with my Wife we decided to suprise my parents and sent them for holiday and asked Slavek to redecorate their house while they were away. The house hadn't been redecorated for years and was a bit neglected, to say the least. Slavek and Wlodek had limited time but managed to repaint their house so lovely. I must say I was surprised how much they actually care about each stage. Before hiring Slavek I had no idea wood preparation is that important. Well, Slavek & his Dad surely know how to achieve brilliant finish. My parents are over the moon and Slavek they want to meet You in person to say thank You for this marvellous work. So again, thank You so much. 5 star service from start to finish.

Slavek Smooth undertook a full bedroom refurbishment and a smaller plumbing job for us. The bedroom involved removing built-in wardrobes, a full re-plaster, adding picture rails and skirting, and finally repainting the entire room. Slavek and his father did a very thorough job. They were meticulous and were happy to adjust their approach to meet our needs and requirements. Were we happy with their work? Yes, so much so that we are looking to get them to do further work for us.

It's always a relief when the ratings you read online reflect the reality :) Slavek and his dad did a complete refurbishment of our lounge including replacing old skirting boards, plastering the walls and ceiling, hanging doors, putting in new coving and painting throughout. We also appreciated their flexibility and willingness to accommodate various changes we added to the spec as things progressed. We couldn't be more pleased with the final finish, which is immaculate. We're already asking when they can come back in for some additional work we need doing!

Slavek completed the job for me nearly a year ago. I didn't give the review straight away cause we had had a very bad experience earlier, we hired cheaper builders, were happy with price and it looked fine, however few weeks after tiles started to crack and we had an awful leak. Then I hired Slavek to redo my bathroom, do my kitchen and paint rest of the house. All works done to a very high standard and good timing. Issue free and superior quality job. My Wife, Claire, is mostly pleased with the kitchen. We would not hesitate to recommend Slavek & the team to anyone. Cheers mate!

I highly recommend Slavek Smooth Finish. The company name I find very accurate as the finish is really smooth. Slavek and Wlodek replastered & repainted a few rooms in my house and redone my bathroom, all to a high standard. Never before was I so happy with any renovation jobs in my house. Slavek painted my two bedrooms flat from top to bottom. He is very hard working and stayed late and also worked on Sunday to finish the job on time. Slavek is very accommodating, helpful and honest. They are friendly and reliable and tidy, but most importantly have done a beautiful job at a fair price. They work hard and prepare the surfaces rather than painting over what is already there. Really nice to work with, helped us find a good scaffolder for a complex job. The first one was very expensive. Good communications and work done to a high standard. Kept our house immaculate - clean and tidy throughout. Came back as agreed for some minor work needed after the glaziers had done their bit. I’ve contacted them via email over gumtree about a small painting job in my flat and they were more than happy to take on the job and left their contact details for me to speak with them futher. When I reached out on whatsapp..I had no response from them, they would only read the message and not get back, I will still continue to message again with no response, until today all of a sudden booked up until September..why couldn’t you have said that in the first place? I had to then call up to have a conversation with their PA who was no help at all and dismissive and I think poor communication and customer service on their part. As well as doing wonderful and exceptional work within homes painting and decorating your customer service has to be equally as good. **update and response** Thank you for your response Slavek, really appreciate it and while I can appreciate you guys are super busy with work which is good.. I still found Kate to be dismissive in her tone over the phone like she didn’t want to discuss the matter further and quite abrupt. How you have responded back on here would of been all the explaination I needed and would have been happy with that. I work in customer services so I know how to speak to people over the phone and over email/text etc especially a potential client. But also maybe I could have this wrong and that is just the tone of her voice but its very important how you come across especially if I can’t see you face to face. In your response you sound reasonable, sincere and polite which makes me trust you that little bit more. I was already skeptical about finding a decorator online via gumtree, and thought I was being messed about. But thank you for responding, so swiftly.
