S. F.I found Gavin when I was looking to make a change to my engagement ring. I was quite emotional about the whole thing, and after meeting with several jewellers (in London and Birmingham) I felt really discouraged. Everyone told me they couldn’t include any of my original gold in the new ring, and seemed more focused on a quick sale than trying to help.
Gavin was the first to make me feel at ease - he’s approachable, sincere, has the patience of a saint and always encouraged me to take my time with any decisions. He was more than happy to incorporate my sentimental gold into the updated ring, and advised on what would work best while always being open to my ideas. I’m extremely picky and detail obsessed, so not an easy customer…I must have driven Gavin crazy with all my questions but you’d never have known. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He put a massive amount of effort into finding just the right stone (within my limited budget), always taking the time to explain things without ever making me feel silly or patronised. Really lovely guy to deal with and an all round legend!
The result is beyond anything I could have imagined. The quality of the ring and attention to detail has truly blown me away (and that’s difficult to do, I’m a nightmare!). On top of that I have a stunning real stone, when I came in thinking I’d reach a lab stone. I feel so lucky to have a ring made by you Gav - you’re a master, and I can’t thank you enough!

L. H.It’s fair to say both myself and my partner did our research, and thoroughly too. After weeks of discussions with jewellers in both Birmingham and London, I came across Gavin Mack Jewellery - Our search was over.
Gavin immediately filled me with confidence. From our initial telephone conversation, Gavin understood what I wanted him to create and got to work in sourcing the diamonds right away.
Myself and my partner were invited to Gavin’s charming workshop to see the diamonds he had sourced - We were both incredibly surprised. He’d not only sourced three incredible diamonds within budget, but one was completely flawless which made it extra special.
2-3 weeks later, we returned for the revealing of the ring - It was perfect.
If you are looking for an honest, knowledgeable and friendly jeweller, I couldn’t recommend him enough.
M. M. G. G.After corresponding with 4 other engravers, I decided to go with Gavin, we spoke on the phone a few times and I felt confident he was the best choice. He made up and mounted the ring for me then it was engraved with a family coat of arms. I have several mock ups of the coat of arms, some more simplified versions, and some not so. I emailed him pictures and we both came to an agreement on what would look best on the ring.
I received the ring today and it is incredible, I am so glad I went with Gavin. He has been excellent with his correspondence, emails text and phone calls.
