Hockley Jewellers is an exceptional family run jewellers... Micheal and his family are some of the nicest people you'll meet in the jewellery business. They have been in the trade longer than I've been buying gold gifts and they have an fantastic reputation for fair prices and customer values. This is not there first time I've used these guys, I came to Michael's shop a few years ago on recommendations from friends and not looked back. This shop has some of the best prices I've found and I generally find something suitable without bouncing round from shop to shop.... Even more than that I've always left knowing I've been looked after & had a fair deal. They also offer jewellery repairs while you wait ( inc re-dipping of white gold items ) These guys have a huge selection of stock (photo's) with many unique pieces... So no need to waste time and extra parking charges. Today I've used a range of the services these guys offer... I had 2 chains repaired, 1 was a clasp, the other was broke mid chain, photos are below and I defy anyone to see the repair ( an amazing level of skill on such a delicate item ) I had 2 rings re-dipped white gold and another yellow gold item polished and finally I brought my partner a beautiful new chain which they shortened to 15" (the length she wanted)... The chain was then discounted in price to the new lengths value. 🤑🤑 I would highly recommend this shop as A first point of call to anyone heading to the jewellery quarter... looking for that special item. I've been to many of the shops in the area ( even 2nd hand / pawn brokers ) and I've not found a more competitively priced shop yet... From engagement / wedding rings to modest trinkets and chains, there is a range to suit all pockets. The highly skilled walk in repair service " while you wait " saves double travel / waiting days for it to return or paying out for middle men.... Visited Hockley Jewellers on my Birthday. Had fantastic service from Sandra who has the patience of a saint. Went in with a ring style in mind but after trying loads on I felt the style I thought I wanted just didn't look right🤣. Tried on so many rings and Sandra did no hard pressure sell just offered advice and info. Finally found a ring I loved. Sandra then took all my other rings and gave them a clean too. Fab service. Popped in without an appointment and asked if they could rhodium plate and polish my engagement and wedding rings. The lovely young man said "No problem ", we had a walk and a coffee then returned. They were all done and ready after 30 minutes. Very pleased as they are shiny and looking new again. Great service and friendly staff.

My fiance purchased my engagement ring from here 3 years ago and as it's just a few weeks until our big day I popped in to get my ring re dipped and cleaned. Expecting to pay full price, obviously! We visited the Jewellery Quarter to purchase an Eternity Ring and after visiting a few shops we stopped in at Hockley Jewellers. We were greeted by Mike who was more than happy to show us trays of rings and advise accordingly. He was very patient and attentive and his knowledge superb and after a good 30 minutes of trying on various rings my wife decided on the perfect one for her. Mike told us it would take approx 1 hour to size the ring and even offered to resize the engagement ring as this was a little to big and also clean the ring together with the wedding ring at no extra charge. Mike duly called us within the hour to let us know the rings were ready. Fantastic service and a pleasurable shopping experience and would highly recommend Hockley Jewellers for any jewellery requirements you have. Visited this store today not knowing what we really wanted in regards to wedding rings. Sam the assistant was very helpful, Sam took the time to explain about the different properties of the different metals and the pros and cons. The shop was very busy and allot of customers waiting to be seen to, Sam didn’t make us feel rushed or pressured even with the other customers waiting. Fabulous shop, excellent service, very helpful - Thank you Mike 'the metal mickey' Jeffreys. We made a journey to the Jewellery Quarter from Shropshire. Hockley Jewellers was the first shop we went into and so pleased that we did. Bought our wedding rings and engagement ring - traded in an old wedding and engagement ring - got a great deal. Our rings were sized on site while we popped across to St Pauls Square for lunch, then returned to collect them. No high pressure sales, just very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable people. Can't recommend them enough. Would definitely go back.

After 12 years of loyalty to another jeweller in the area whose customer service had dropped off a cliff edge, we decided to find a new one. On looking over the large number of stores available in the jewellery quarter, we found Hockley Jewellers and with that visited the store based on the excellent reviews they had. Visited the jewellery quarter last weekend looking for a specific pendant after trying several jewellers we went into Hockley Jewellers. Upon entering we found the staff to be very aware and polite and soon got into discussions with Matt who immediately showed us the several of the types of pendant we were looking for. Matt was then very helpful in allowing us to try several pendants with several chains (even modelled them for us ) until we had made our decision Matt then presented the chain and pendant in a very stylish gift box. We came into Hockley Jewlers in November looking for wedding rings, we walked into the shop and we were greeted warmly by Selina who was absolutely fantastic, she gave us her complete attention, she was so helpful and patient with us giving us different ideas. This was the first shop we walked into, so decided surely we can’t just buy from the first shop we went into… so we looked around other shops and non of them beat the quality of the jewellery and the customer service we received, so we went back and purchased. Today we went to collect our rings and along with seeing selina, we also met Mike the owner, he was also so welcoming and so helpful as we took my parents who were looking for necklaces. There is no pressure sales at all and it’s is such a lovely relaxed atmosphere in Hockleys. We will definitely be visiting again. Just had a VERY positive consultation and buying experience at this excellent jewellers. Nothing was too much trouble and Libby knew exactly what I was looking for and suggested the perfect chain to go with my silver and gold antique heart. I needed a slightly tricky alteration but Alan the jeweller suggested a laser solder which was the perfect solution. He also did it in a short timeframe too to save me coming back. We had such brilliant service - the lady who served us spent a good amount of time making sure we got the size, shape and colours we wanted. This was especially difficult as the engagement ring was a bit different to usual. They didn't try to hard sell or pressure us into spending more, and the prices seemed really good, and better than other shops locally. This has to be the best and most knowledgeable jewellers in the Jewellery Quarter and I have shopped at a few over the years! I have had the pleasure to purchase a couple of items from the family run Hockley Jewellers in recent days. The staff are professional, provide excellent customer service, friendly, not pushy, and extremely helpful. The first ring purchased had to be resized and wasn't quite right, without hesitation the ring was exchanged and an upgrade given at no cost!! Whilst waiting for my beautiful replacement ring to be sized, I noticed another ring which is also perfect and purchased that too. I have been to a few cities around the country to look for an engagement ring and most of the jewellers I met seemed pushy and/or insincere. When I visited Matthew at Hockley Jewellers I was impressed by how genuine he was and how he took the time with me to go through the different options available to make a custom ring for me. He was very knowledge and courteous and he seemed to care with a depth of earnest, and I felt as though he took great pride in making the ring I wanted come to life. Different CAD designs were sent to me after a few weeks to confirm the design and then pictures and videos once the ring was ready. The centre section was raised sightly higher than I liked and Matt had it reworked on the same day I went to collect it, so that it looked perfect! I highly recommend you visit Matt if you're looking to get the perfect ring for your partner!

I required a gold cross and chain for myself and Louise matched the right size cross and a beautiful Franco chain together, but being unsure and wanted to see what other jewellers had to offer we went elsewhere. We checked out other jewellers, but no one could match what we had seen in Hockley jewellers, so two hours later we went back to see Louise and would you believe it the chain had been sold by Louise's sister.....🤣 However Louise went above and beyond and had a new chain made for me within days, so here endeth the lesson, if you see something you want at Hockley jewellers have them put aside for you, so it's still there when you go back to buy it Thanks Louise your a star....

Me and my partner travelled to Birmingham to find the perfect ring, after looking round many shops we tried Hockley Jewellers and was instantly welcomed by Mike who was extremely helpful, friendly and not pushy. I quickly found my perfect ring, Mike helped find the perfect diamond to suit explaining the cut, colour and clarity. Excellent service and quality of rings. When my fiancé proposed, we were both keen that the ring should be a special one, and working with Matt, we managed to get a truely unique ring that has withstood all manner of knocks and washings ( due to Covid requirements) to look just as good as new a year later. He worked patiently with me to help me make my mind up. The central stone has stayed firmly in place, the setting of the smaller stones is also excellent and they sparkle just as if they were new even now. So much so that we went back there when my husband wanted to buy me a first year anniversary ring. Selina gave us an equally good service, and when I was in two minds about which ring to go with, was patient and not pushy and was always willing to find out any information for me. Mike and Sandra asked us a few questions based on what I liked I picked a ring which Mike said he wouldn’t recommend based on the ring being resized and it could damage the diamond or I could lose a diamond. I was showed so many different rings and mounts the service was really personalised to me and made the day feel special. We decided to look around and not buy the first one we looked at but after looking around none of the other stores made us feel special or tailored the ring to what I liked, so we went back to hockey’s and purchased our ring. we was never pushed or made to feel like we should buy from them! Omg I had such a wonderful experience here. Went to jewelry row in Birmingham with my fiancé to buy our wedding rings. I cant praise them enough. My fiance and I dont live in the area and bought our rings from here on recommendation. We travelled the 2.5 hours to visit family and came in with my nan during our trip. They got my nan a seat and a cup of coffee and made sure she was comfortable. We had a look through a number of rings with Matt, my engagement ring is an unusual shape, but Matt was able to recommend some wedding rings that would compliment it, my partner works for the ambulance service and was concerned about the antibacterial gel awould damage the ring, he was also concerned about comfort. And again Matt recommended shape and metal. At the time platinum was cheaper than gold and they told us this so we got the most for our money. They also gave us a discount. As I mentioned we dont live in the area so when the rings were ready, they were more than happy to hold on to them for 4 months before we were able to collect. When we came to collect them I stupidly forgot the receipt so called ahead to see if we could still collect. I spoke with Mike and he assured me be could ask some security questions and it wouldn't be an issue. When we arrived to collect them, Mike remembered speaking with me and asked the questions and was happy to release the rings. We tried them and they are perfect! They also gave my engagement ring a polish, free of charge and offered to do the same before the big day. Honestly cant recommend them enough. The products speak for themselves and the service is phenomenal. Thanks so much for our wedding rings! We love them!

There are so many jewellers in the jewellery quarter but non compare to this family jewellers - the service was beyond believe I constantly changed my mind and was a total nightmare however the team were amazing sending me numerous pictures advising me all the way to get the most out of my gorgeous diamond. They couldn't do enough to get me exactly what I wanted. The whole team are a total credit and are so patient. The final ring was a show stopper. What an experience. On our first visit Mike looked after us... what a guy!! Not only did he show us loads of different designs but also was able to meet my fussy requirements. I chose one of Mikes designs (white gold wishbone) The ring needed a few tweeks (again because I’m fussy!!) and Louise came to the rescue. Nothing was too difficult and everything was fixed within the day. The 5 stars are due to not only the product being amazing and totally unique but also the delightful staff who always made me feel welcome and infact part of the business!! The atmosphere as soon as you enter the establishment of Hockley Jewellers is so welcoming and friendly. The Director (Matt) is incredibly helpful and super eager to both serve and entertain; he was more than happy to fix the broken clasp on my necklace. The whole team is wonderful; but Matt stole the show - his banter was truly infectious and his knowledge was impressively broad. My Mum and I ended up buying the team some biscuits to say thank you (following Matts suggestion to do so) haha!
