I went to Gold Reserves in Cardiff Market today. I was promptly and warmly greeted by Lisa. I had pieces of gold, some broken and earrings to sell. After checking my jewellery I was offered an amazing price for them. I accepted the offer straight away. Lisa was extremely helpful and friendly, chatting to me throughout. We were served by Anna who was very helpful and polite and explained the whole process to us. Anna,the manageress went over and above in terms of customer service.The company as a whole are prompt and efficient with a wealth of choice. My wife and I, came into the shop at Cardiff Market to sell some gold a couple of weeks ago and were served by Jasmine, this young lady was amazing as we had quite a mixture and were unsure if a lot of it was actually gold. Jasmine tested every single item for us, sometimes twice just to be sure. I took an old bracelet in to the Cardiff shop and I wanted a charm placed permanently on it. Well, when I picked it up I was thrilled to bits! Not only was the heart charm placed exactly as requested, the bracelet looked brand new! It had all been cleaned (without me asking) and didn’t charge me any extra. I had them made bigger, they were also replated and the shine on them was amazing, they were actually better than they were when brand new. The staff are very helpful and so friendly. Well done to Gold Reserves. I went to a different stall in the market initially by mistake with an antique gold bracelet in need of repair. They said it was irreparable (but I doubted that ) and wanted me to put an inferior new gold lock on it that would have looked wrong but was very expensive. I then walked past Gold Reserves and realised this was where I should have gone, The bracelet was repaired within a few days, soldered and put right for £12 - very helpful staff, seemed knowledgeable and were very helpful. I was recommended to take my unwanted gold and silver jewellery to Gold Reserves in Cardiff for a valuation and to possibly sell as I do not wear it. I was helped by a very polite lady called Zoe who looked at my goods and came to a very acceptible valauation which I accepted. However, amongst my items was a watch which I did not think would be of any value. Zoe checked it carefully and said that it was a rare Tissot ladies watch and I should get a few valuations as they do not deal in watches. I took it to a watch jewellers not too far away, but was not impressed by his inspection or attitude to be honest. So now I am taking to an auction house to be valued. I highly recommend Gold Reserves and will be sure to let them know how I get on at auction house

This week I had the absolute pleasure to be helped by the wonderful Zoe in Cardiff with a shot In the dark quest to search for a ring my son wanted to buy me last year. During a phone call on Friday, I described the ring I was looking for and Zoe came up with the brilliant idea of calling me on FaceTime so she could show me the ring trays. I couldn’t spot the ring in question but on Saturday decided to make the trip into Cardiff and have a look in person. Sadly, we couldn’t find the ring - it was always a long shot, but I did find a wonderful alternative. I have a gold chain that needed a new lobster claw clasp. I had been to various jewellers and they quoted high prices for a replacement clasp. My husband saw reviews for Gold Reserves and suggested that I see what they would charge. We went into Cardiff market today and I was quoted a very reasonable price for a replacement clasp and the fitting. They did a superb job and cleaned the chain as part of the service. My mother lost her necklace that she'd had for nearly 20 years and I went straight in with a blurry photo asking if they had anything like it, they didnt but Anna took my details and said she would put ot a search for it.
