My daughter and I had been looking for a green dress for quiet some time, she saw Kylie Rose’s “Poison Ivy” dress and absolutely fell in love with it. What can I say? I wish there was an option for better than excellent! Stardust has the best dresses, at the best prices but most of all it has the most incredible personal service! As soon as you walk through the door you are made to feel like a star and welcomed with a smile. The staff are so friendly and helpful and in no way intimidating! She looks after every customer as if they are her best friend, she'll encourage and advice you, as well as finding you the perfect dress. Visited Stardust Boutique on a Sunday morning to find the shop closed, I called the shop and was offered a private appointment at 6pm that same day. Kylie the shop owner is so lovely and down to earth, she was really patient despite it being Sunday evening. The shop is brimming with gorgeous gowns and Kylie has a knack of picking out the perfect dress. On entering the shop Kylie took one look at my daughter, pointed to a gown on display and basically said "that's the dress I'd like to see you in". Having wanted to visit the Stardust Boutique ever since it opened but had never had big enough party to wear such a special dress, until now! Upon entering the shop I was given a warm and friendly reception by the staff on shift and immediate help for what I was looking for in a dress! I myself pulled out a few dresses which I liked but the staff who clearly know the shop very well and all the hundreds of dresses pulled out a few I would never have seen or thought of myself in, which in the end, turned out looked, and suited me better than the ones I pulled out for myself! Kylie and her staff are very down to earth, love a good chat and offer a very honest opinion of what a dress looks like on you! (You get what you pay for! And in this case it was being looked after like a Princess and getting a gorgeous dress out of it!) I extremely liked the fact that the shop stocks Sherri Hill and Jovani dresses which I have heard a LOT about, but always thought I could never purchase as they are an american brand! The staff informed me that Kylie picks the most beautiful of the ranges for the shop, and you could definitely see that before you even walk into the shop! (The shop has the most gorgeous window display!). I shall definitely be making an effort to visit the shop on a more regular basis and would 100% purchase another dress from Stardust Boutique!

Stardust has a beautiful selection of dresses, you can tell the owner has great taste. We were a bit unsure about ordering such an expensive item online but the customer service was excellent. Care is taken for proms to ensure no one else at the same prom has the same dress from Starburst, which is definitely a big plus! Kylie is more than accommodating and has gone out of her way and stayed open late when I desperately needed a dress urgently but couldn't get to the shop in opening hours. Went to the Cardiff pop up shop in February half term to try and find a prom dress for my daughter who was adimant on a certain style and colour, when we got there we were greeted by Rhianedd who was so lovely and helpful and had all the time in the world talking to my daughter,this made her feel very comfortable and at ease and suggested to try some different styles and colours to what she had in mind, after trying nearly all the dresses in the shop, my daughter narrowed it down to 3 favourites .... they took her measurements and we were going to have a think and ring them back that week, we left, went for lunch, and my daughter said mum they were so lovely in the shop I want to buy my dress there, they made me feel comfortable and they were so helpful, so I decided we go back after lunch and get it done that day, we went bk, they let her try the three final dresses on AGAIN, she finally decided on THE ONE she was happy.....Dress Came back this week so we went to pick it up at Kylie's lovely home in Swansea, Rhianedd also met us there and was helpful with directions, she tried the dress that they had ordered for her in her size and it was perfect, fits her like a glove ,she looked like a Doll.... absolutely stunning! Firstly, the shop it's self is so glamorous let alone the dresses. I went to have a look before the prom dress rush season and it was amazing. The staff were so loving and allowed me to try on so many dresses. Also, the staff measure you and if you aren't keen on the ones you have tried on, they will show you other dresses that they think would suit you. This is what they did for me, which was loving because they picked out the dress that I then bought. The staff are extremely patient and talk to you about not only the dress but accessories. The have a beautiful selection of earrings, which I also bought😂 What I found really nice it that they had high heels in the changing rooms and a rope. Overall, this is a brilliant prom dress shop and would strongly advice others to go here. I came to this shop straight away, without even going to another prom dress shop as my sister had such a good experience when she went there for her prom dress.

After frantically searching high and low online for somewhere local that stocked Jovani dresses for my prom, I found Stardust Boutique! To start off with, even when you first step into the store you are surrounded by gorgeous dresses that make you feel like a princess. The staff are all equipped with warm and welcoming smiles to greet you at the door; making you feel relaxed straight away. All of the dresses are arranged around the store in order of colour; very helpful when looking for a specific dress! There is also a lot of space provided for everyone to comfortably move around and search for the perfect dress for you. All of the staff know exactly what they are on about in terms of style numbers, designers, sizes and alterations that could possibly be done to make the dress suited to your needs. Even by just showing an image of a dress you like from either Jovani or Sherri Hill (just two examples), there is a very high chance they will know what style number it is straight away and whether it is in the current season. When searching for my Jovani prom dress at the store, I fell in love straight away and knew it was the one for me. The changing rooms are decorated amazingly and provide so much space for you to change into the dress, along with large mirrors and a dressing gown! amazing. There is also a large sofa for parents or friends to sit on whilst you try dresses on. After trying the Jovani dress on, I was advised on what size they thought i would need and measured me to make sure it was correct. I tried on many dresses after this and they were all so patient and supportive when making my decision. The staff are also honest enough to share their opinion on what they feel looks best on you which is brilliant when you're stuck between a few dresses! Despite being in the shop itself making you feel like a princess, the staff also make you feel like royalty. The best part about it is that you certainly do not feel intimidated when trying any dress on. The staff are there to help you with your decision and make it a happy experience for you. You will laugh a lot and have so much fun trying on each dress! My dress was ordered in my size and i was notified straight away when it had arrived. I was given a card with the details of my dress, along with a business card that held the boutiques phone number and social media links. I then had a browse at the clutches and earrings to match my dress and ended up purchasing a clutch and a pair of shoes too; sorted! The shoes were the very last pair but Rhianedd kindly sorted them out for me. My dress was placed into an amazing hot pink dress cover with the Stardust logo printed on it; again, amazing! I also left the store with a Stardust goody bag. Overall, my (and a lot of others) experience at Stardust was truly wonderful and you should definitely pop in whenever you are in need of a stunning dress! - Amy
