M. H.I went to Pravins in February 2022 to purchase an engagement ring, having previously visited a few other jewellers/ websites.
From the outset, I felt the service offered by Pravins was on a different level to my previous experiences. I dealt mainly with Georgia, who was great and took the time to help me add to my (very limited) knowledge of all the important ‘Cs’ of buying an engagement ring. She also asked me questions about my partner and how I planned to propose etc.
After proposing, we went back to Pravins to discuss re-sizing the ring. The service was equally great from Anthony who talked us through the process very thoroughly and again was interested in our proposal story.
I would recommend Pravins to anyone and can confirm my partner loved her ring!
A. J.Buying an engagement ring is a big deal, right?
After a dreadful morning in other stores around Cardiff who were attempting to force me into buying their rings, to say the least I was feeling flat, frustrated, unhappy and was certainly ready to call it a day and go home. Not what you want for what should be an exciting day, eh?
Then I strolled into Pravins for a 'quick' browse where I was greeted by Sam Patterson who immediately put me at ease.
Sam listened to me, allowed me to explain what kind of ring I was looking for, what my budget was and most importantly, he actually asked questions and genuinely wanted to know about my partner and I.
Throughout the two hours I spent in store, Sam was excellent. He is a great communicator, personable and friendly guy. He made buying my partner's engagement ring an enjoyable, exciting experience.
I genuinely left feeling on cloud 9 with my purchase & the experience, this was certainly down to Sam. My day had made a massive U-turn!
Once I have proposed, I will certainly be back in store to tell Sam how it went - he knows what I have planned!

We made a fairly long trip to visit the Pravins boutique as I wanted our wedding rings to match my engagement ring, which came from Pravins. It was totally worth the long trip and I am so glad we made the decision to choose Pravins. Jared was so welcoming and had such expert advice for us. Pravins Cardiff really went out their way to help me with my engagement plans, and also for our wedding bands. I have had all three rings now, and could not be happier. They are happy to go out their way for you, don't rush your consultation, and never pressure sell. Janeal deserves a real mention - a real credit to the company. She works so hard, kept me up to date with my order, and always greeted me with a smile and nothing was too hard for her to sort for me. They brought things to my attention I wouldn’t of thought of. It’s such a big decision but I feel the team were able to share lots of ideas and nothing was too much trouble. I didn’t want to leave it was such a lovely experience - I am now only a couple of weeks away from having my rings and I can’t wait! I have been looking for the perfect ring for my girlfriend for a while now. Jared Cornish was excellent, he was so friendly and took to time to answer all of the questions I had, and go through every detail of each ring I looked at. I showed him images of ones I liked and without hesitation he was able to find me similar rings that were within my budget and offer me complete customisation as needed to perfect them. The atmosphere inside Pravins is so warm and welcoming and Jared made me feel very welcome.
I would highly recommend the visit. It made choosing the perfect ring for me so much easier.

G.After visiting a few different shops I ended up buying an engagement ring for my girlfriend at Pravins. Natalie was very friendly and helpful. Even though it was very short notice, they managed to get the ring made and delivered to the shop on the day of the engagement. Natalie was constantly checking up on the progress of the ring and kept me updated on a weekly basis. My fiancé then decided to get the matching wedding band which again Natalie organised for us. Every time we pass, we always pop in and Natalie gives the diamond a clean for us and we are still made to feel very welcome. I can't recommend Pravins and Natalie enough for everything that they did for us.

M. W.This review is well overdue, if you are ever looking for any wedding rings then come here and speak to sales advisor Anthony. Anthony is brilliant at his job and he very helpful and caring. I got my wife engagement ring and wedding ring from pravins and both times I dealt with Anthony who was excellent both times. Before our wedding he arrange for the rings to be sent away to be cleaned for our big day. He is that good at his job that both my brothers and myself have seen him for rings for our partners.
S. A.I purchased an engagement ring from Natalie in Pravins recently, the whole experience was made very comfortable and easy.
It’s quite a daunting task, given the importance of this very small item. But Natalie took time to go through lots of options and help me find exactly the right ring. I ended up picking a few different parts from different rings and a specific diamond. Nothing was too much to help create the perfect ring.
My now fiancé said yes and absolutely loves the ring. We went back to Pravins to have the ring re-sized and engraved, again brilliant service. Natalie also ensured the ring came back in time for our engagement celebrations.

A. F.Buying an engagement for me personally was a step into the unknown and having had a previous consultation in a different jewellers, which resulted in me feeling none the wiser, I went to Pravins.
From the off, I knew I had chosen the right place and I cannot be more thankful to Jared who made the whole experience and absolute pleasure and in the end quite an easy one. Jared had been in touch via email before my appointment and when I turned up already had a number of rings to view based off what I had asked for and he hit the nail on the head almost immediately.

S. J.I visited Pravins Cardiff back in 2019, with the view of finding the perfect engagement ring for my partner. I had been to other jewellers in and around Cardiff where the service and advice had been okay, but after walking into Pravins and straight away being greeted by Jared and treated like a valuable customer before I’d even put money on the table, I knew I had made the right choice to shop there.
Jared’s knowledge of everything engagement rings was second to none, his advice and his ability to understand what I was looking for, did not take long for him to present the perfect ring.
When it came to my budget, there was no pushing me to spend more, he did everything in his power to provide me the best quality diamond and setting, for what I was willing to pay.
Whilst advising on engagement rings, Jared spent alot of time getting to know me, investing and interest in my partner along with how I was planning to pop the big question. At no point did I feel like he was wanting my money, he showed a genuine interest in the occasion of why I was there at Pravins.
I went along with the purchase and my now fiance, absolutely loved the ring, the only issue. I’d made a mistake with sizing. However, I wasn’t to worry, Jared was once again on hand, and my partner had the pleasure of meeting him. When returning to the store to discuss resizing of the ring, it was like seeing a friend I hadn’t seen in months, his welcome was warming and my partner instantly understood the reason behind why I chose to come to Pravins. Jared resolved the ring dilemma which infact resulted in having a new one being made, with no further expense and we even ended up with a better quality diamond! We spent a large amount of time in the store after sorting the ring, just conversing and again Jared showing just genuine interest in getting to know us, my partner and the story behind the proposal.
After that visit, my fiancé was sold! She wanted us to get our wedding rings from Pravins and for Jared to be the one to help us. Again he did. We have visited the store numerous times between 2019-2022 to choose rings, getting the engagement ring cleaned and make payments (We were meant to marry in 2021) but everytime we have been in, Jared has been outstanding. We even had a phonecall last autumn to say he had a little gift for us! A lovely box of chocolates
We went in to collect our rings last Friday and again, Jared was there welcoming with a smile, we sat chatting again for ages! We came out of the store feeling sad at the fact our journey of buying the rings with Pravins and Jared had come to an end.
Pravins Cardiff, you have a great team but Jared was a diamond himself. His standard of customer service should be placed as your benchmark, he was a credit to the company and himself!
I think me and my soon wife to be are done in the meantime for spending money lol, but if I am looking for any jewellery for birthdays, Christmas’ or anniversaries, I know where and who I will be requesting for help.

D.EVERY STORE NEEDS A STEPHANIE - We cannot praise this awesome store enough. The guys there are fantastic. My partner and I went to the store to look for an engagement ring. I honestly did not have a clue what I wanted. However, all that changed when an absolute amazing consultant named Steph stepped in to guide us through the mind-field of styles, gems etc which was a Godsend. Steph just sat us down, asked the appropriate questions in such a friendly way i.e things like my style, likes etc and then simply said "leave it with me". Then back she came with a stunning array of rings and each and everyone of them were beautiful. After trying them on, Steph could tell I still was not sure. This is where Steph comes into her own. She will just suggest little things here and there and before you know she has designed a ring especially for you. Unbeknown to me my partner had secretly been back to the store to purchase a diamond necklace for my birthday, and Steph smashed it again, she designed another piece and boy it was stunning. Then it came to the wedding and eternity rings, and boy or boy Steph has gone above and beyond to design these rings for me. I can't wait to see them. My partner was hesitate about getting himself a ring due to having issues with jewellery i.e getting a rash. So Steph said well with me having a platinum rings that maybe he should try platinum. She then arranged for him to loan a platinum ring to see how he got on with that metal. So pleased she did as he had no reaction so he will be having a wedding band. Upon collecting my engagement ring we were offered bubbly and the whole team made us feel very special. They gifted us chocolates and wine. My partner has purchased a few items and Steph has been involved in all of them and she just gets it so right. Steph is as sparkly as the diamonds in the store are her personality and enthusiasm is truly dazzling. She has an incredible eye for detail. Steph is warm, funny, thoughtful and cares passionately about her customers. However you don't feel like a customer she makes you feel like you are a friend, and that she will do whatever she can to ensure that you are happy. The whole team in Cardiff are super friendly, attentive and passionate about delivery excellent customer service. They are all an incredible asset to the Pravins family. We will never shop anywhere else it is as simply as that.

M. E.After some time trudging disappointingly around the various jewellery shops of Cardiff looking for the perfect engagement ring I visited Pravins within St David's shopping centre. From start to finish the process was an absolute delight and removed all the stresses of the task. I was lucky enough to have Janeal welcome me in and sit me down. She listened attentively to what I had in mind and helped me design a custom ring. She was a welcome face as I returned to see the finished product and then again to pick the ring up when the time was right. My experience clearly demonstrated the superior knowledge and customer service of the staff and Pravins. I cannot recommend the service highly enough.

Bryn initially went to town to look for an engagement ring with his friend and my sister, they went to every single jewellers in Cardiff and none compared to Pravins. Complimentary fizz obviously made the purchase much smother!
However, the most impressive feature was the young lady which served us. Lauren Moore was impeccably professional and very knowledgeable. Above all else, she was a really nice person with a manner that made you feel welcomed, special and a valued customer. Worth a mention is the assistant manager Debbie who was equally welcoming and supportive in our quest to find the ideal ring.

Although my entourage consists of a 5 month old baby and a toddler, they were unfazed and had a selection of puzzles on hand.
They offered drinks and a free cleaning service for my engagement and wedding rings whilst I was there.
The manager was very patient and helpful while I made my selection, and didn't mind me asking the prices a few times. I have severe baby brain and can barely remember my own name!
The other lovely staff members helped entertain my toddler, and he loved looking at the wedding magazines with them, lying about his age and spinning in circles.
They arranged for an item I purchased to be sent from London so I had it in time for a family celebration. It arrived on time, beautifully packaged.
Also if you have a budget, let the staff know. They are able to source different quality stones or alter pieces to your specifications. You can also design pieces, e.g. eternity rings.
The jewellery from Pravins is wonderful and timeless, and will make beautiful heirlooms for my children.

A. C.I've noticed one review mention the prices of the store but I honestly believe you get what you pay for; in this case I feel it's the best quality, unique items and a service above and beyond what the other jewellery stores in Cardiff offer.
I've been here a couple of times and the staff are always friendly, have always been able to find exactly what I was looking for and even remembered me from my previous visit so I didn't feel like 'just' a customer.
I dealt with Jared most recently and although he's always been enthusiastic and helpful, he really went beyond this time. My step father recently passed away and Jared was able to arrange a re-polish and re-plate of my mother and step father's wedding ring. I wouldn't have even thought to do this, but now the ring looks as good as it did that first day and my mum was really touched by the gesture.
Knowing that Pravins also do custom jewellery, I will no longer shop anywhere else.

We’d looked in a couple of shops prior to coming into Pravins, and the service that we received in Pravins was no comparison.
We were greeted by Jared, who instantly took an interest in our wedding. I wasn’t too sure what ring I wanted to go for, and Jared went away and brought a number of different styles out for me to try, explaining the differences between each. Once I’d picked a style he went away and brought more rings for me to try, eventually whittling it down to my favourite - which was also Jared’s first and favourite choice.
