Absolutely flawless service from start to finish! Sophie made the entire experience wonderful from the initial consultation to the final product. We were kept up to date with the progress of our ring each step of the way to ensure we were satisfied with every single detail. The craftsmanship of the actual ring is breathtaking and I am obsessed with how beautiful it turned out! I get compliments every single day and cannot wait to go back for our wedding bands! We spent half the day in Hatton garden and so pleased we decided to stop by DP. If you want honest, efficient and a beautifully designed bespoke ring this is the place to go! Absolutely recommend diamond palace especially Sophie! Don’t bother with other stores - make this your first stop and you won’t regret it!

Tim has been brilliant from start to finish. I came to the shop with only a picture of the ring that my fiancee had seen in store 2 years ago. Tim was able to replicate the exact same model, taken my additional vague ("make it as sparkly as possible") requests into account and produced the perfect ring. My fiancee was over the moon with the end result and the requests to resize down twice were met with patience and good humour. The thought of trying to find the perfect diamond ring for my girlfriend seemed like a daunting task, but exciting at the same. I had done some reading online, watched some videos here and there and taken advice from friends. All good preparation and research, that said I gained more in 10 minutes talking directly to Tony that I ever would have found myself online. Tony took the time to explain what I should look for when looking at diamonds, explained the 4 C’s in detail, and showed me a variety of diamonds which helped to illustrate the differences between them. I had a rough idea of what I was looking for in terms of ring/setting etc. Once again, Tony was fantastic and worked with me and my ideas as well as his own to help come up with the ideal ring that was in my head. His attention to detail is incredible, and having something bespoke like this is exactly what I was after. Its quite difficult to explain a design to someone without examples, but he took on everything that I was saying and produced the most beautiful ring. I must add that I came in on a Wednesday, and was able to take the ring away that same Friday. Absolutely incredible turnaround. I was lucky that everything was available when I went in, and realise that this is not a normal turnaround time. We’ve actually just been back to check the size together and to get some information on maintenance etc. It was brilliant to go in with my now Fiancee, and for her to meet Tony in person, and to see the thought process I went through and also meet the person that made her ring. When you make possibly the biggest decision of your life you don't take into consideration that theres a few other pretty big decisions you've got to make along the way. I hate going in to a situation not knowing at least a little something about what I'm talking about. But when I realised having made the decision I wanted to get married and having asked the father I realised for my first big challenge that I knew nothing about buying engagement rings! I did a little bit of research but I felt I was a little fish swimming into a sea of sharks. And whilst I had an idea of styling based on a picture I had seen, I had no idea about whether that was even achievable. So I got somewhat lucky to stumble upon Diamond Palace. Chances are you've not been to Hatton Garden. Its somewhat daunting especially for someone with no clue what they are doing. I read reviews on here and had a list of shops to maybe go in, but perusing their windows I find myself struggling to engage. But as Id been climbing the escalator at the tube station I had seen advertisements for Diamond Palace. Do you believe in fate? Cos I do now.... They hadn't even been on my radar. I hadn't even realised I was looking in their shop window when I was politely approached by Sheila asking if I was ok. From the off she was no pressure, polite, reassuring and attentive. I had spotted a design close to what I wanted in their window and decided why the hell not. From there on in it was made utterly simple for me. I had look at the ring in the window but on producing the picture of the ring that had given me my ideas, Sheila immediately sorted out something even better for me. I was never put under pressure, or sold hard, but given many options and helpful advice. I had a budget ceiling in mind before Id even gone in, but what I got was something that looked 10 times the price. It was stunning. Add to that some lovely e-mails from Shiela herself gave me reassurance that I had made the correct choice. Since then the question has been asked and not only does my now Fiancee utterly love the ring but the acclaim has been pretty much universal from everyone who has seen it. In fact she's got a bit worried that it might all go to my head such has been the plaudits, but whilst I'm relieved to have got it right, the credit goes to Sheila and the team at Diamond Palace. Just wanted to share the excellent 2 experiences I have had at Diamond Palace in 2016 and 2017 ( I cannot find my 2016 review now !) I purchased an engagement ring for my girlfriend and the service was excellent, we were recommended Tony and he did not let me down. I bought a lovely white gold and diamond eternity ring from Diamond Palace about 10 years ago. I have never seen another design like it. A few months ago I started to think about having it re made with bigger diamonds. On a visit to London I took my original ring back and Tim sat down with me and went through exactly what I wanted. The jeweller at Diamond Palace, Alex, very quickly understood my ideas and was able to give me excellent suggestions and guidance on the ring design process. i went into Diamond Palace knowing I wanted to get an engagement ring and had a basic idea of what I was after. The consultant Sheila was amazing and was beyond helpful in helping with the design on the ring. I needed a really quick turnaround on the ring (I was proposing to my girlfriend on our break in Majorca which was less than two weeks away from the day I walked into the shop) and considering it was a bespoke design, I went in on a Monday lunch time and the ring was ready for me to pick up the following Wednesday. My girlfriend said yes to the proposal and she absolutely loves the ring and was amazed at how well it fit. Sheila was able to get the size from a photo from the phone. All in all it was an incredible service from the shop floor to the ring makers and we have decided we will get our wedding rings from here.

The store itself was sophisticated without being over the top. They have a lots of room downstairs so it doesn't feel too cramped and you have the opportunity to discuss your requirements in private. Fantastic service! After visiting majority of the stores in Hatton Garden i had given up for the day after being constantly greeted by pushy salesmen and women from many stores. Outstanding service and experience! We went to Diamond Palace in search of a particular Simon G ring, and met with Tony. After some discussion and looking at rings we mentioned to Tony that we had a very particular style in mind that we loved, with a specific design and set of stones. Tony asked us to show him some pictures of the design, and told us they could craft the exact ring within our budget range. He then guided us through a process to select the main central stone, side stones, ring material, crafting considerations, and we agreed the price. Three weeks later we went along to see Tony and he duly showed us all the stones, and the wax casting of the ring. Two weeks later we went to get the completed ring. It was here where I met Tony, who spent a good hour with me showing me numerous diamonds on my first visit, when I told him roughly what sort of design I was looking for. Where do I even begin? Hatton Garden can be a very intimidating place; large selection with everyone claiming to be the best but Diamond Palace completely changed that feeling and put me at ease from the get go. I walked in off the street and was greeted by Adele who gave me all the time and attention in the world, within minutes I was looking at diamonds and discussing prices, which were by far the best value for money in all of Hatton Garden, a completely haggle-free environment. I was looking for jewellers that would give me a personal and intimate service, somewhere I would feel comfortable and satisfied with but also somewhere I knew would listen to what I wanted rather than them telling me what they can give me. Sheila and Adele gave me all that and more. I needed a bespoke ring to be made and ready in less than 6 weeks ready to fly to Cyprus for the proposal and I can honestly say Sheila pulled out all the stops and made it happen (even after a few last minute changes)! When the day came to pick up the ring, I was so nervous and if only I could put into words what that ring made me feel when I opened the box. The craftsmanship and the attention to detail was incredible. Myself and my fiancee spent a long day in Hatton Garden searching for the perfect engagement ring. The process of trying to find a jeweller that we felt was trustworthy, professional and understood exactly what we wanted was very hard. Near the end of the day we found Sheila and Peter at Diamond Palace, who not only had a great selection of stones, but understood exactly what we wanted design wise, and offered us a very competitive price (we ended up getting both wedding bands at the same time, which was great). Anthony and the other staff took the time to keep both myself and 6-month old son very comfortable and welcome, at one point they arranged to even cool my sons bottle and entertained him whilst I was showed some beautiful stones in the shape, quality and size for which I was looking. There was one particular stone which immediately caught my eye, which was slightly out of my range but after some discussions with Anthony and his manager we were able to agree on an amount which suited us all, having had already shopped around I knew I had obtained a gorgeous stone at great value. What initially attracted me to the shop was its elegance which beat many others in Hatton Garden from its appealing physical appearance to its security measures on the door which made you feel like it was the real deal and what you would only experience at top stores. What drew me in further was the elegance and beauty of the designs in bands and settings that Diamond Palace had to offer, in particular the beautiful design that I eventually chose for my Fiancée which stood out to me and is the best I have seen. I was later able to tailor and bespoke the setting, design and metal of the ring to fit our diamond which Anthony arranged to be customised in the stores workshop. Anthony himself was very passionate and genuine about the ring and the proposal he was honest, open and transparent, even regarding competitors whom he could easily have spoken negatively about, when asked for his expertise regarding a stone I had seen with another store. This helped further cement that important sense of trust required for such an extravagant purchase. The after service available is also of top quality, free resizing if required and annual cleans that are accompanied by complimentary champagne. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Diamond Palace to anyone looking to ask the big question. One other Jeweller said to me at the beginning of my search that when I found the right ring I would know, he was right and in the end it was the combination of stone, setting and service that made the decision easy to go with Anthony and Diamond Palace. My Fiancée couldn't be happier with her ring and hasn't stopped looking at it since, I too still get drawn in when it catches the light and regularly ask for a second look as do all of her friends!

Peter and his wife from Diamond Palace were an absolute pleasure to deal with when selecting my engagement ring. I had done quite a lot of research before entering the store and Peter instantly stood out from his competitors because of his authentic approach. I was taken to this gem in Hatton Garden by my brother in law who follows on from two others before him who have brought their engagement rings from here, so they have delivered many times before me. With so many jewellers and choices in the Hatton Garden area it is quite a daunting prospect to know where to start and as such I spent a lot of time looking around and forming a bit of a 'brief' for what I was after. After searching the length a breadth of both London and Birmingham's jewellery quarters I can't express enough how relieved I was to finally find somewhere where the quality of both service and jewellery was obvious from the minute I stepped through the door. I'd been to around 50 different jewellery shops by this point and had sat down with numerous consultants who came across as though they were more keen on taking my money than they were on providing me with the perfect ring to the point where I'd almost given up and was very close to settling for the best of what I had found, especially after around the tenth consultant had flicked through what looked like an Argos catalogue of rings and settings straight out of a factory. That was until I met Martin at Diamond Palace Jewellers. I had quite a specific requirement (I was looking for something in a vintage style with an emerald cut sapphire as the main stone). Martin was incredibly patient, discussed in detail the options that I had and was incredibly knowledgeable in both jewellery craftsmanship and the quality of precious stones. One thing that was obvious was that Martin knew that the quality of ring would speak for itself and so put me under no pressure in the same way that I'd felt some of the other jewellers had. I got the impression that Martin would have been perfectly happy for me to leave the shop if he couldn't find the prefect ring, which in comparison to some of the other jewellers, was a breath of fresh air! Having visited the other jewellers already, I knew straight away that the quality was obvious. The design that I settled on didn't have the sapphire as it's main stone that I was hoping for, however, Martin was able to arrange that the current stone in the ring be exchanged for a sapphire and showed me a selection that were in store. Unfortunately, none were quite perfect. Again, this was no problem and, due to my tight time schedule, Martin gave me two options, either I could let him source a selection of sapphires for me to come in and choose from, or, he could show me in store what he considered to be the perfect colour of royal blue sapphire and then let me rely on him to source the perfect stone. Having already been convinced of his expertise, and to allow me more chance of keeping the ring buying a secret, I requested that he use his experience to find the perfect sapphire, and I wasn't disappointed. The ring was delivered to me within 24 hours of it being made and was perfect and 100 x better than anything that I'd seen elsewhere. I apologise for the length of this review, but I'd once again like to extend my utmost thanks to Martin and everyone who helped at the Diamond Palace. I would thoroughly recommend anyone looking, not only for engagement rings, but high quality jewellery in general, to visit the Diamond Palace in their search. I can say with utmost certainty that it is where I will be returning for our wedding bands or any similar purchases in the future. The champagne during the consultation was a nice touch too and, when combined with the stylish consultancy rooms downstairs, really made it feel like I was there to buy something special. My partner bought my ring from an online website that had very very good reviews, we were so excited and once I was given the ring we decided to have it valued as it didn’t seem to be exactly what we paid for. I popped into a few places down Farringdon Road and was told by everyone the ring wasn’t worth the amount we had paid, the Diamond was a lot lower Clarity & Colour then what we thought we had bought(lesson learnt, never buy you’re ring online when you haven’t seen it). I went into the Diamond Palace to have the ring looked at and Peter told me straight away he could make me the same ring for the same price with a better and bigger quality diamond. We took pictures of the initial ring and started the process. Peter, Shelia and the rest of the team were so great, they first had a CAD image made of the ring which I made adjustments too, once I was happy with this they did a wax version of the ring so I could get a real feel for it. Once this was okayed they went to make the actual ring, I have to say I was a very demanding customer, constantly wanting updates on progress etc and the whole team were great providing this. A diamond was sourced, this alone took a few weeks as I wanted the perfect diamond and Peter didn’t stop until that was found, in the end I never looked at the actual diamond that was put in the ring as I trusted Peters judgement when he said it was an amazing diamond. He was right, the diamond was gorgeous, the bespoke ring was made within our budget and to perfection. I get stopped by many Brides to be and complemented on my very unique and gorgeous ring. I would definitely recommend visiting the Diamond Palace and speaking to the team here, they will cater to any budget and have the option to work from your designs. I still find myself staring at my ring and thinking how beautiful it really is. We will be visiting the Diamond Palace to have our Wedding bands made in the New Year, I can’t wait!

I looked around a couple of jewellers in Hatton gardens but didn't feel overly comfortable in either of them. As I passed Diamond Palace and looked in their window, Tony came out and just asked how I was, what I was looking for Etc. Very friendly and non-intrusive. He gave me his card and said if needed any help or advice to give him a call. I walked away, losing confidence in picking the ring myself. But 5 minutes later I walked back and went to Tony, asking him why I should come into their shop rather than all the other ones. Tony just had such a lovely and trusting manner about him I decided to go in. He showed me a selection of rings , going by what I had told him I thought my soon to be fiancé would like. He asked many questions about her, what her Fashion was , her personality, building an idea of her, and there was one ring that stood out above all the others. It was a fair bit out of my budget though but Tony managed to get me a really good deal on it and hey presto, I had my ring. My fiancé loved the ring and said it was the absolutely perfect choice. From the moment I walked in to the shop and sat down with Tony, I knew, if i was going to buy a ring, any ring, it was from this store and especially from tony! He explained everything about diamonds and listened to the qualities i required and gave his pro's and con's. Well, 6 months on from collecting my new engagement ring from Diamond Palace, and the exceptional service I received from Peter, and all of his team, sticks out so clearly in my mind, I couldn't not write a review! I was heartbroken when the worst happened, and I found my self in the situation of having to replace my engagement ring. After the hoo-ha of all the dealings with my insurance company, my husband and I went up to Hatton Garden, geared up for an exciting day looking for something that *might* make up for the heartbreak. However, after the first couple of shops (who I won't name) being pressured and pushed by sales people for what didn't actually look like fantastic quality jewellery, I was really deflated. Wasn't this supposed to be fun?! I finally found *THE RING* at Diamond Palace, The stone was stunning, and Peter was really friendly and welcoming, but in a genuine way which really put us at ease - very unlike the other shops where people were being were so fake in their 'niceness'. He was also fantastic at dealing with my insurance company to set up an agreement which took all the stress away from me. Plus when I had doubts about the original setting being right for me, he went to great lengths to make sure showed me alternative options based on descriptions of what I wanted. In the end, he had a bespoke setting made to my exact specification, which is nothing short of perfect!! At times, I felt bad for being so picky, but I was never ever made to feel like I was any trouble, and Peter actually acknowledged that of course it has to be perfect, as (hopefully) you only do it once, so it has to be right first time! I still stare at my ring constantly - holding my hand out in front of me 'princess style'. I cannot stop looking at it! If you are looking for the perfect jewellery, at reasonable cost, with outstanding service - don't put yourself through the trauma of the other shops in Hatton Garden - head straight to Diamond Palace! You will not be disappointed!!!

Couldn't recommend better place to purchase engagement rings and in the future wedding rings. Having tried a couple of places the service is what I was missing. Tony was a breath of fresh air in my shopping experience. Looking for two engagement rings makes the experience fairly expensive and confusing - most other places had been focussed on budget. Tony only briefly touched on budget and kept steering me away from that purely to help me understand the two different styles I was after - we focussed first on my partners without confusing my own taste, to decide and then focussed on mine, before bringing back both of my final choices. To add to this the diamonds are flawless being very unique in where they are sourced. After this only then did Tony ask for the final budget ignoring the fact that the two 'show' rings I had chosen were far out of my budget. He ensured me he would do everything he could to meet my budget whilst keeping the rings to a high standard that would still have the sparkle of the ones I was looking at. And he did this perfectly. He also was able to meet a very tight timescale for me and nothing seemed like too much hassle. Everything I have requested from them has been achieved and well exceeded expectations. The rings are gorgeous, I will definitely be going back there for my wedding rings and recommend this to anyone. It can't be promised but Tony even managed to throw in an extra surprise for me upon collecting two rings - I got lucky but this shows just how good their customer service is and they are all about finding whats right for you. Quite possibly the gem of Hatton Gardens - first class service from Day 1 through to today... I first visited Diamond Palace in March this year having looked round at a few places in and around the Hatton Garden area for an engagement ring. Pre-sale: I visited a few times to do the usual 'window shopping' and learn a bit more about the rocks before committing to any particular ring. From the beginning Tony was inviting and delighted to share his knowledge. I loved that at no point were any pressure tactics or pushy sales techniques used to close off a deal. Instead I as reminded that it was a special occasion and time to learn and enjoy the process was important. During: My experience learning about the different diamonds and choosing the perfect ring was second to none! Tony spent hours explaining and showing me different gems, whilst never losing sight of the budget I had in mind. He always reminding me of the pros/cons of different stones in relation to the 4C's as well as day-to-day. We looked at a variety of settings before comparing some loose stones - ironically I fell in love with the very first ring and diamond combination that Tony had shown me (whilst explaining different settings) - an excellently cut solitaire diamond in a 6-claw platinum setting. As I was doing a surprise proposal I didn't have the exact ring-size. Tony's judgement of the size needed from a few bad photos was unbelievably accurate. We went one size higher as I was sure a H would be too small - should have just left it to him as he was spot on despite 70+ different possible sizes. Perhaps most impressive of all was Tony's determination and willingness to work to my (downright ridiculously) short notice to have the ring ready within a week. He told me he'd get it done; he got it done in 5 days! I'd looked at the usual online-based diamond e-tailers and not one of them would have been able to deliver a ring in the time-frame that these guys were able to work to. As promised, 5 days later the ring was ready and looked unquestionably stunning. After-sales: Since my purchase Tony has been in touch to check how things have been going and we've recently visited DP to have the ring physically checked (Dec 16) over and cleaned whilst enjoying a celebratory glass of bubbly. Again - something that online sellers just wouldn't give you. Verdict: It may appear to be one of the smaller stores in the area, but I've been blown away by the consistently high quality service - before, during, and after the sale. Tony was always willing to make time and never left me questioning where we were in the process or his ability to deliver on the day. Peter, the owner, turned the whole day around, he was patient, took time to listen to what I was after, I was never rushed and his place (that he runs with his wife) simply feels like a little sanctuary. The fact he had so many beautiful rings got my inspiration going and we chose a timeless custom design that my girlfriend (now fiancée) just adores! Every employee I came across seems to have a real passion for jewellery, Anthony was a great example of that! I can't recommend this place enough, probably one in a million in London!!

I undertook a lot of research before buying an engagement ring. But, ultimately, if you want to avoid the mark-ups of going to Tiffany's etc. you'll end up walking up and down Hatton Garden. This can be a difficult process. Many shops are owned by the same people, and many won't want to give away too much information (in one shop I was told to leave because I was asking too many questions!). If you're looking for a larger diamond, you'll probably find that you won't be able to see it on the day, but when you go back to view it the diamond won't be there. The whole process can be intensely frustrating. Diamond Palace was one of the last places I visited and was a breath of fresh air. I can't praise Martin enough. For the first time in the process I felt as though I was getting the information that I wanted and knew (based on all the other places I had been) that the price I was being quoted was fair. There was no need to negotiate. I still wouldn't suggest going to just one place. It might be worth shopping around. But make sure you have Martin at Diamond Palace on your list.

An excellent service, took time to find out what was the most important aspect of the diamond I was buying, and then offered me options to maximise that aspect. I went round so many shops in Hatton Garden, all of whom where the same, "whats your budget?" and then diamonds were shown to you. Diamond Palace was however very different, they asked what was important, which in my case was the size. They then explained how you could maximise the size, whilst compromising on other aspects such as the clarity, to get what you were after.
