We visited Heming in Piccadilly having looked at lots of other shops for an engagement ring. Gregory was extremely patient with us - letting us look at lots of rings and stones until we had narrowed down what we were looking for. When we picked up the ring it was perfect. The service we received was so good that when we wanted to buy our wedding rings, we went straight back to Heming. Again, Gregory's balance of knowledge and patience was spot on - and we bought 2 beautiful wedding rings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heming - and no doubt we will go back there in the future.

Had a poor experience in making my payment (amex) but the manager followed up personally by phone- refunding the charge and taking a new payment (even giving me a small discount for the inconvenience) a great example of excellent customer service and i am now a happy customer. Hundreds of diamonds stores and online shops doesn't make it easy to choose a diamond for your special one. I came across Heming while browsing online and then when I came to Hatton Gardens it was the first shop on my left. I went in and was warmly greeted by a lady called Akvile who showed me various options and made some excellent suggestions for an engagement ring. Akvile has told me all that I needed to know about the diamonds without being pushy or inclining that I should buy from her. I couldn't make the decision on the same day. I later visited a few other shops, some smaller retailers who could offer cheaper prices but the service and reputation couldn't beat that of Heming. It didn't take long to make my mind up. I'm a strong believer that it's worth to pay a little premium (especially for a lifetime gift) and go for a well known, established brand rather than someone who might disappear in a few weeks all together. A few weeks later I called Akvile to make an appointment. She invited me to their prestigious Mayfair showroom to see a few hand picked diamonds that met my budget. She educated me how to use the loupe and was very patient while I took the time to learn how to properly use it to see the inclusions. It was reassuring when Akvile was very honest about the quality of diamonds we checked and her opinion matched mine (when I finally made the loupe work). She clearly wasn't trying to sell the biggest or most expensive diamond, but showed genuine interest in picking the top quality one which was exactly what I needed. We then had a very sensible discussion about the price and other details. Both my fiancée and I love the ring and truly appreciate Akvile's help with it.

We toured the UK recently and came across Heming - we were so happy to discover this brand and their unique offering. We will certainly be customers for life! PS. Thanks for the delicious mulled wine!
