My review is one among hundreds of similar ones, but James is so lovely I have to leave one anyway. I am an absolute nightmare to work with. Any service I ever have done I am picky and very much a perfectionist. James and the London Diamonds team are honest, polite, and go far beyond what is expected of them as jewellers. You get prompt responses and updates. Despite James doing this daily for a living, he shares your enthusiasm of getting your diamonds and shows actual interest. His opinions are honest and not profit driven. If he thinks a smaller diamond would look better, he will tell you that. He also applies no pressure to buy. I cant imagine ever going to another jeweller. James/the team are genuine, good people. I have attached a photo of my ring which I helped design. The most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen!

Having already seen London Diamonds on Instagram we’d known for a little while that this would be where we would choose to get my engagement ring designed even before we got engaged and it was definitely the right choice! James was super responsive and engaged right from the first message and sent lots of helpful voice notes to give detailed answers to my many questions which was very reassuring. I don't usually write reviews but I couldn't not when my fiance and I's whole experience with London Diamonds was IMMACULATE. I had drawn out the exact ring i wanted and had handed it to my now-fiance so when he was ready he can begin the process of getting it made. I had made it explicitly clear that i needed London Diamonds to make it - I have followed their account for years and i had zero doubt that the final product would be anything but perfect... which it was. My fiance had a few chats with James who was super attentive and helpful and gave his professional opinion in a few instances which was appreciated. The day finally came and i got proposed to with the most perfect ring! As I had designed the ring myself and had never seen it i was worried that the real thing wouldn't be as nice as i would've hoped but honestly it was better! The diamond is so clean and sparkly the two bands are the perfect width. My fiance and i couldn't have asked for a better experience. I had to go to see James in person as the ring needed resizing and the process was super straight forward and James was super professional and attentive and now i have the most perfect ring and couldn't be happier! Thank you so much to James and the team for all your hard work!

Really can’t recommend these guys enough. James, Miranda and the rest of the team we’re super easy to work with from the word go. The whole process was smooth, transparent, informative and efficient- I felt in safe hands from the off. They cater to your budget and also provide you with alternative options with no pushy sales approach whatsoever. The design stage is where they really deliver- they get this bang on and keep you in the loop every step of the way- if you are not 100% or want something different, then there is no problem-they will not build the ring until you are completely satisfied. Communication was also fantastic with them being quick to respond to any queries via the phone or online. The thing that most impressed me however was their dedication to customer satisfaction. I needed my ring on very short notice over the festive holiday period as an unexpected opportunity to propose arose and although they were out of office, James and the team made this happen! I cannot recommend London Diamonds enough. I found them on Instagram a couple of years ago. I had always seen amazing reviews. My boyfriend proposed and got me the most beautiful ring which I love. The aftercare has been phenomenal, James is really easy to chat too and very willing to help. I had to have my ring made smaller and it was such a quick turnaround. Sadly I managed to damage the band and I was distraught, again James asked me to send over to them and assured me they’d be able to fix it. I was after a particular style of engagement ring and James assured me he could make a far superior ring with a better quality diamond than I could buy on the high street … he was absolutely right, the diamond is incredible and the workmanship on the ring is flawless. Not normally one to write reviews but in this case I felt the need to. Especially knowing how daunting It was for me to make such a large purchase online, I wanted to reassure anyone else in the same situation that you have absolutely nothing to worry about it. I originally reached out to James via Instagram and continued all communication via that channel. Response times were super quick and despite not meeting James until later in the process felt like I was his main priority at all times, even with the number of customers he is dealing with on a daily basis. I had done a fair amount of research myself before reaching out, but James was super helpful and able to field any questions I had, and was able to offer professional advice. He is not pushy in the slightest and on a number of occasions even tried to persuade me not to go with the more expensive option as his honest belief was that the difference in appearance wasn't worth it. I did not make the process easy for him as I asked a million questions and changed my mind on a regular basis, but rather than getting annoyed with me was he very happy to accommodate. It even got to the stage where I decided to change something after the ring was already made and without any hesitation he got me a new ring built. After proposing to my now fiancé, I needed to get the ring made slightly smaller while we were still in the country. Despite having his team about to take the week off for holiday, he managed to turn it around in less than 24 hours!! I can honestly say that the service provided is second to none and would 100% recommend James and the London Diamonds team to anyone and everyone. Oh...and the ring is absolutely amazing too! My fiancé loves it and hasn't stopped getting compliments about it! I will absolutely be coming back to get our wedding bands designed and made here!

The initial design request form was easy to complete, and the team liaise with professionalism, speed and discretion via your chosen method (including the option of WhatsApp, which worked excellently). They'll help you to choose a diamond based on your specification and budget, then design the ring using that diamond and CAD images. The team were fantastically flexible and very quick at producing new CADs with suggested changes, and are absolute professionals with high quality expertise. The ring is posted and tracked in a discreet box and comes beautifully packaged inside. The ring itself is absolutely stunning, and the whole process was not just easy, but enjoyable and stress-free - and I'm certain that it would have been much more difficult if I hadn't found London Diamonds! I don't think that anyone else could have helped me to produce as perfect an engagement ring. I will be recommending the team to anyone I know looking for diamond jewellery, and will definitely be returning for wedding ring design!

James and his team did a fantastic job designing and building my engagement ring for my fiancee. From start to finish I can't recommend James highly enough. For anyone starting the process of looking at engagement rings I highly recommend watching some of the informational reels on the London Diamond instgram account. They offer a great tutorial for understanding how diamonds are priced, and what to concentrate on when looking at cut/carat/clarity/colour. I'd done a fair amount of research before approaching London Diamonds and can confidently say they are a market leader in quality & price. In my initial messages with James & Miranda i gave them a fairly wide budget to work with, and some design ideas. The first thing that really impressed me was they planned a ring around the middle of my budget rather than immediately jumping into the top end of what i quoted. There was no pressure throughout the process by James to 'up-sell' or make a 'quick sale', and James was happy for me to take my time and consider my options. The whole design process is brilliant, and allows you to be involved as much (or as little) as you want to be. James and the team clearly have extensive knowledge about diamonds, and sent over several different 3D images and videos of diamonds for me to choose from, varying in size/cut/clarity/colour allowing me to choose the best balance for my budget. From my experience with other jewellers and online options that i considered i'd say that James's prices were about 15-20% cheaper. The diamond i picked in the end has all the certifications and specs that James promised- it really is a case of getting more for your money! The design process was brilliant. James sent over a 3D plan of the ring, and was more than happy to make the changes that I suggested. The price we agreed didn't change even though i opted for a more expensive metal type and pave style band. James kept me informed the whole way through the process. Considering that it appears to be a small team, it's amazing that James is able to build a relationship with all of his clients. Once I was happy with the design James went ahead and built the ring, and even managed to resize it at the last minute for me. The ring itself was delivered to me by courier (again no extra charges), although it would have been just as easy to come and collect it from their office in central london. My fiancee was incredibly happy with the finished product (as was I!). The fantastic customer service doesn't end at the point of sale, the band was slightly big in the end, and James happily resized it again (for free) on short notice, and had it turned around in two days. London Diamond offer free resizing, repairs and replacement of the small pave stones for life which is reassuring! Thanks for a wonderful experience James! I'll be coming back to you for wedding bands in the near future!

A fantastically professional and friendly company. There was nothing wrong with my experience whatsoever. There is no point going to a standard high street jewellers anymore, have a look on London Diamonds, fill out the information and they'll create exactly what you want. Don't bother spending thousands more on going to a brand like Tiffany when London Diamonds are just as good if not better with a more personalised experience. Brilliant aftercare as well! Like so many people, we found London Diamonds on instagram and I hav been a long time fan of all the pieces that they have made. When my now Fiance proposed, I knew that I wanted them to make my engagement ring. We did the usual shopping around Hatton Garden looking at various styles and eye wateringly expensive prices and came away with a design but no ring. Thats when we contacted James and Victoria, James was always so so helpful in giving us advice, both via messaging and voice notes (a really nice touch to make the experience more personable) about the diamond world. No question was too much to answer! But then I found Victoria's instagram and saw that she had made a ring in the style that I loved and immediately got in touch with her. She was AMAZING from start to finish, she was prompt to get on a call with us and talk us through our options so she could source the correct diamonds for our ring. My fiance was slightly sceptical about buying such a high value item online but she reassured us by meeting us in the offices in London quickly and made the whole experience feel really personal and special. Upon meeting Victoria, I just knew that she understood my vision for the ring and I knew I could trust her to make my dream engagement ring! Through the process she was constant in her communication on updates and was so accomodating to making small changes to the design after I had seen other rings she had made! Now I have my dream ring which is so stunning and the sparkle from the diamond is unreal. (1000 times sparklier than the photos!!) I am now working with Victoria on some other pieces for my mother and will not go anywhere else for Diamonds now. You might be a bit hesitant dealing with someone online for what can be an expensive purchase, but I can assure you there's nothing to worry about and you'll undoubtedly receive the same excellent and reassuring service that I did. 5 Star Service and Outstanding Quality!! Buying a diamond ring online is a pretty daunting prospect, and I was full of the understandable apprehension that most buyers will experience when taking the leap. I had a very, very particular design in mind that was complicated to describe and was also my first foray into lab created diamonds. Communicating with James was always easy and prompt, he listened to my ramblings patiently and sourced me the most best cushion cut diamond I’ve ever seen, and from a previous engagement, I’d seen quite a few :). James completed design within record time and I was very excited to see it in the flesh. Buckle in, because here is gets bumpy! The finished ring wasn’t quite what I had envisaged. It was indeed beautiful, and build quality and diamonds where exquisite, but the halo just wasn’t the size I wanted. I’ll hastily add this was 100% my fault, I signed off the design but I hadn’t paid enough attention to this particular element. I feel what happen next is what sets London Diamonds even further apart from other jewellers. Instead of closing the door on me, which they were 100% within their rights to do so, they set about putting a plan in place to fix it, with ZERO fuss and NO charge. All during the extremely busy Christmas period too. I was extremely impressed with James’ professionalism and deep commitment to outstanding customer service, I wouldn’t have got this treatment on the high street. It just wouldn’t happen. The amended ring arrived last week and it’s 100 times better than I ever expected. If you’re dithering about buying from here, Don’t! Where to start..firstly I am writing this review after buying an engagement ring to hopefully help the other men who are where i was a few months ago. I started like most men would - with no clue, trawling Jewellers in Hatton Garden, online catalogues, recommendations and my own research (4 C's etc.). Some Jewellers were nice but like car salesmen, most hid behind 'mumbo jumbo' nonsense language that the common customer doesn't understand - most with the same goal to get the most money from you and NOT to help you find the perfect ring and truly use your budget in the best possible way. I stumbled across London Diamonds/James on Instagram and began looking at all the rings they made (by hand) and all the 5* reviews. I was nervous originally to go down this route as (a) I had no experience of doing so and (b) its hard to get information/recommendations from anyone who has veered away from the traditional method of buying via a traditional Jeweller. Everything happens for a reason and taking the chance to go with London Diamonds has been the best decision i made on my ring process. Communication was top class, ring was built on time, the pricing always felt absolutely fair (and not that i was being ripped off finally) and the best bit is that the ring itself is absolutely top top TOP quality. I must add it was 100% bespoke and built from pictures, the only limit is your imagination. No expense was spared, the diamonds used are quality and the craftmanship is stunning. Full review Consultation: The ring I had in mind went through numerous redesigns and changes, from the amending the style of the band to the actual shape of the stone. Despite this, James and the team gave me all the time I needed and provided their advice, which I took on board to make changes. I was skeptical about ordering from Instagram in all honesty but James took the time to discuss in depth on the phone, invited me down to have a look and made the whole process reassuring and secure. The ring: I gave him a brief and he found the perfect stone for me, shipped in from the U.S. and I had to view this online, but I trusted his recommendation and was extremely happy when it arrived in the U.K., as it was the showstopper he had described. He didn't charge a deposit to look at the stone, which I appreciated as it was imported - because he knew I would love it when I saw it in person. James gave his input on how to design the band, which in hindsight was the right choice from the start - so he knows his stuff and his advice was valuable. I felt no pressure at all in terms of price, James was completely open and gave me multiple options to choose from. He only offered one stone that was higher than my initial budget, but only because he thought it would fit my brief better than the initial one, which it did, perfectly. Ultimately, my partner loved it and wanted to get the wedding bands from them as well, which we did (total 3 rings) and we are both extremely satisfied with our purchases. Customer service: As I mentioned above, they went beyond expectations. The ring was too loose when it first arrived and the team didn't hesistate to allow us to resize this, ensuring this was done on a very tight turnaround. Despite still being just a tad bit loose, they have already offered to resize it again without any objections or issues. The service didn't stop after I had paid for the rings, which I respect and value highly. It gives you that reassurance that you have made the correct choice and that you are looked after as a customer. Some people think it’s odd buying a ring from a company on Instagram and dealing over WhatsApp. I thought it made sense, and it couldn’t have been easier. Allow me start this off by saying; if all sales persons were as honest as James, the world would be an easier and happier place. The purchase of an engagement ring holds a lot of pressure. It’s something you really don’t want to get wrong but it needs to be more than right. It needs to be your version of perfect. I engaged with the London Diamonds Instagram content very well. A lot of their work caught my eye. Didn’t know what I was looking for but knew what I wanted once I saw it. The rest was simple. I contacted James, went to visit him in the lovely London office and concluded with a engagement and wedding ring combination. Although cost is an important factor, getting something that shines the way I want it to was more important. James worked with my requirements and budget blew my expectations out of the water. James drafted an invoice, I paid a deposit, a few days later James said that he had found a diamond cheaper than expected saving 6% of the total charge. (I’m sure a lot of people would’ve kept this quiet!) This review has been overdue by since February which was when I handed the ring over to my partner. Simply put, I can't recommend James and the team at London Diamonds enough. Other than a house and a car, an engagement ring is probably a man's most expensive life purchase so I can understand that some people reading this may feel a degree of unease about buying from an Instagram based seller. Yes, there are some dubious sellers on Instagram (such as those who source "authentic" sold out designer goods) but honestly James is the real deal. He knows about diamonds but more importantly he knows how important purchasing an engagement ring is and that it is not just about the ring. He will be on hand to answer any query you have (and will actually give you a direct answer) but, unlike some jewellers, he won't pontificate about the granular detail of the diamond industry (unless of course you want him to). I first met with James a while ago in his London office to take a look at oval diamonds (being a design which I really liked) but then decided to hold fire and reconnected with him a few months ago to discuss a different shape of diamond as I know my girlfriend (and now fiancé) would prefer a cushion cute with a pavé band. In terms of process, it went really smoothly as once the budget and overall shape is agreed then James will look for the perfect diamond and produce detailed designs. Over the last few months we have been messaging over WhatsApp at all times of the day and at weekends. James was really supportive in helping me settle on the budget and design and ensured me what he would produce an amazing ring within budget and my timetable. There was absolutely no pressure to increase my budget. I honestly believe that if you have a £1,000 or £1,000,000 budget then you'd still get the same level of customer service from James and of course each ring still comes with the really nice wooden box which contains an innovative light perfectly angled to hit the diamond. Once we decided to go ahead with it, we worked on a CAD design and James found an amazing diamond in NYC. A few weeks later my ring arrived. I proposed on Saturday and James was genuinely interested in how it went so I sent him a few photos of the proposal. I can confirm that none of the videos or photos on their profile are filtered. In terms of the ring itself, I may be biased but it's definitely the best diamond ring that I've seen in real life. Quite a lot of rings I've seen have dull, milky diamonds that don't sparkle. Our ring is on fire. It catches and reflects the sunlight and it sits really well on my fiance's finger. I got engaged on Saturday and my fiancé fell asleep that night staring at her finger - bit worried about her driving to work today as she can't stop staring at it! She loves it. It's honestly perfect and I know that if I'd went with a high street jeweller I would have ended up paying much more money for an inferior ring. I will definitely use James for all of future jewelry needs (wedding bands, wedding rings, eternity rings) and I hope you find this review useful.

Let’s get the basics out of the way first...we received first class service from the moment we first contacted London Diamonds. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone, or to use them again. When we first started thinking about engagement rings we trawled all of the well-known jewellers from De Beers to Harry Winston. At the same time my partner had stumbled across London Diamonds on Instagram and - impressed by what we saw - one afternoon we thought we’d send a very speculative message and see what came back. I had been following London Diamonds on Instagram even before I was thinking of proposing, admiring each ring that was posted. Once I had decided to take the plunge I was inundated with recommendations from friends to use their jeweller, all of which were shops selling pre stocked diamonds. I didn’t like the idea of such a big purchase being dependant on what stock the shop had, and also the possible pressure being put on me by the jeweller, however I was also extremely nervous with going with an online jeweller. I can't rate this company highly enough, they have been amazing from start to finish. I initially bought an engagement ring online during lockdown. When I received the ring I was really unhappy with it and disappointed that I'd spent so much money for what looked to be quite a cheap ring. I felt ripped off. I spoke to a friend about it who had seen London diamonds on Instagram, so I have them a call. They told be that they could make the same ring I had bought for one third of the price. Clearly I was shocked. I eventually got the company I had bought the ring from to accept my return and refund me. I then purchased a new ring from London diamond. I felt the process in which to do this was amazing, initially paying a deposit to secure the design, then approval of design, paying another 40%, then finally seeing the made ring paying the remaining 50%. The advice i was given was great and felt comforting. I didn't feel like I was been misled at all. The ring is amazing and I'm so happy with it. James answered about 50 of my questions without any pressure, to help educate me. He even recommended I do more research, go up and down Hatton Garden, speak to others, knowing he would be there when I was ready. Secondly, after I had proposed, we found that the ring was a size too big. He knew how important it was to us for it to be fitting perfectly as soon as possible, and we got it booked in for resizing straight away. I’m lost for words for how unique and amazing my engagement ring has turned out, it was exactly how I wanted it to be, super simple and elegant. I started my search for an engagement ring online using different websites but I struggled to find exactly what I was looking for. I finally came across London diamonds website and sent in an email enquiry. James responded straight away and we began discussing my requirements on WhatsApp. We shared different pictures and videos of rings and he detailed the process and timelines. We met in person and he could tell I was nervous about getting it right. I told him that my main worry was about ensuring the diamond I chose was the diamond I got in the final ring and James said straight away he’d be happy for us to meet with the diamond and he’d show me the certificate and match it to the diamond under magnification using the GIA number and that’s what we did. We agreed the design and I paid a deposit and we were on our way. Within a few days James was sending me videos of suitable diamonds with recommendations, he found an amazing diamond that was perfect for the design and within my budget. James then started setting the stone in the finalised design and only a week later it was ready for collection! I was blown away by the final ring and the whole process was seamless. James put me at ease the whole time no question or concern was silly- James made a stressful process enjoyable! When I proposed to my fiancée she was absolutely in love with the ring, it far exceeded her expectations and she can’t stop staring at it! Thanks James and the team, not just for a beautiful ring but for an easy enjoyable process, for making the most of my budget and being such a huge help along the way.
