Amazing product & service! I had a custom-engraved platinum signet ring made as a wedding ring and couldn't be any happier with the result. Being in Australia I was initially apprehensive about ordering the ring without trying one on or seeing it in person prior, but the team at Rebus were so professional and made the whole process so easy. I was sent a detailed information pack prior, communication throughout the whole process was excellent and I was involved at every step. The finished product has exceeded my expectations.

I ordered an oxford oval signet ring with deep cut seal engraving. I was thrilled with the quality of the craftsmanship, the work of the artist who worked on my design, and the excellent customer service that I received from Rachel. I ordered online as I am not based in London and the process was very easy. After receiving a welcome pack with a ring sizer, I discussed my design with Rachel who made some great suggestions. I was also very happy with the illustration for the crest that the Rebus artist made, and they were very helpful when doing changes and redrafts. I was also extremely pleased with the help that the engraver provided when kindly revising the finished piece to incorporate a change to the design. Delivery with DHL was also exceptional, arriving the next day. From start to finish the whole experience was a pleasure and really made such a bespoke item incredibly special!

Fantastic company to deal with. My friend had a lovely custom made signet ring from rebus so I asked if they would make a special engagement ring. Rebus and their team, specifically Sophie and Rachel, were an exceptional group to work with from inception to execution to delivery. I ordered a 14 carat yellow gold, 14x18mm deep seal engraved ring to be engraved with a custom design. I hereby would like to thank Gary (designer) and of course the engraver/s in the workshop that were involved with making our rings! Excellent craftsmanship went into the rings. It was meant to be an anniversary present for the missus, however due to lockdown, that deadline could not be met.... This is of course not down to the crew. They made our rings, but due to miscommunication with the final draft, it came out the opposite of how we wanted the rings. With their patience and grace, they remade our rings to the right specifications! Yes it took a long time, but this is where you will require patience on your side as well as you will not regret it. From the initial visit to store, brainstorming with Gary, the several email comms to seeing the finished product is outstanding! The one issue is that they have discontinued producing Silver rings, making it hard to revisit for potential other deep seal engraved rings.... Once again team, thank you very much!

Rebus has made two deep-seal-engraved signet rings for me from one ancestor’s coat of arms and another ancestor’s family crest, both taken off family sterling silver serving pieces. After submitting my family crest and asking for a few adjustments, I promptly received a proof diagram of the desired layout. I then asked for a blank copy ring so I could check the size and shape when being worn. During the engraving þrocess things went quiet, but that was to be expected as this work takes time and Masses of skill and concentration. When the ring was finished Merryn sent me a photograph of the ring and seal impression before dispatching it to me. I cannot fault the service and expertise of all the staff at Rebus. My 18ct ring is of a very nice heavy weight and real quality. I supplied the image to be engraved and the transfer of this to the ring was extremely accurate and finely detailed, and in correct proportion to the face size. I was able to specify the engraving to be for sight rather than in reverse. It is worthwhile paying a visit to the shop to discuss what you want and get some advice.

I visited the Rebus workshop in Hatton Garden to view their collection. The whole team were very welcoming and really are experts at their trade, their knowledge is incredible. Emmet the owner explained the process of engraving, showed me around Rebus’ workshop and introduced me to the team of craftsmen. It was a great experience, it is fascinating to see how much care and attention goes into the craft and creating personal pieces of high quality jewellery.

I'll start by saying that If this review was based solely on the quality of the craftsmanship and beauty of the ring, then they would be getting five stars. However.. they have been let down by very poor customer service. When you're spending a considerable amount of money on a bespoke product, you expect the curtesy of helpful and friendly staff, especially within a company of proclaimed heritage and with a product as intimate as jewellery. However the customer service person I dealt with at Hatton garden was unwelcoming and at times purposefully obtuse. It's a shame because overall the company has such talent and to be let down by customer service is unfortunate. That all being said, I will end on the positives of how immensely happy I am with the ring itself, the engraver really made my design come to life and the presentation of the box and wax sealing kit is exquisite. It's exactly what I wanted. Overall they are highly recommended for their craftsmanship, but service needs improving.

Rebus are masters of an art that is rare indeed - deep seal engraved signet rings. Deep seal engraving is performed in reverse, so that when impressed into wax, the image is presented correctly.
