I've spent thousands over the years and was a Rolex customer before the hype started and the watches fetched a premium. Like most WOS group stores staff have become a little dismissive. I was told last year by the manager James I was next in line for a Explorer 2, business is business but don't look customers in the eye and blatantly lie. You'll be told sell your Rolex and you'll be banned. Maybe staff should advise customers who buy IWC at 5k+ with £200 sellita movements or a rich man's fashion watch Hublot that they will lose 40% when they walk out the door.

I went in to get my watch re sized and I was dealt with by Mina. He was very professional and his customer services were excellent. I ended up purchasing 2 watches. Many people including myself can be quite hesitant to go into shops like Goldsmiths as some of the staff look down on you assuming you can’t afford any of their watches. It happened infront of my face with another person working at Goldsmiths and another customer but it was not the case with Mina. Whenever I add a watch to my collection I call him and I’d advise anyone else to do the same. Thankyou

A massive thank you to Zoe from me and my family. I placed an order for my daughter's watch a while back and somehow got lost in the system. I spoke to Goldsmiths about the order and soon after Zoe got in contact with me apologised and kept me upto speed until the point of collection yesterday. Staff courteous, friendly and professional Clear screens have been installed at all the customer stations to protect staff and customers from Covid Unfortunately far more customers than you would statistically expect to have a valid reason to exempt them from wearing a face covering didn't feel the need to wear one or to socially distance from other customers and staff - This seems to be the case throughout the Trafford Center and not confined to just this store

I popped into Goldsmiths on the ground floor of the trafford centre as I wanted to look at a specific watch. The staff on the ground floor couldn't have been anymore unhelpful if they tried and did not want to help me, she was more interested in talking to another staff member about her night out.I asked about the watch and was told that they had never heard of the watch and had no idea what I was talking about. I then popped upstairs and I had a completely different experience as the male staff member although didn't have the watch in store got the catalogue and went through it all with me. So because of this staff member alone he brought my review up. I was very disappointed as I have used Goldsmiths numerous times before in Staines when I lived down south and for my first visit to Goldsmiths at the trafford centre I was left gobsmacked at the attitude of the staff. If this was my only experience of Goldsmiths I would not go back but I know they are usually very good. I know everyone has a bad day occasionally but this was not the way to treat a customer and to be honest lost my custom on this occasion as I went elsewhere.
