AND THATS A MINUS 5 FOR SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT A MEMBER OF JEWELLERY GUILD. Any friends use or thinking of using P T Miles Jewellers - DON'T. AVOID AT ALL COSTS:- Please take some tine to read. Avoid this jewellers at all costs! Wished I had read other reviews before taking my clock here. Please read:- Took an expensive wall clock valued at £1,000.00 in to be repaired, serviced and oiled. I was charged £190.00. In just over 12 months the clock mysteriously stopped? Having taken the clock to a REPUTABLE JEWELLERS it has since been discovered that the clock is very DRY. So P T Miles did not oil it as they said they had. This clock had hung on my wall for 20 years with no issues. P T Miles answer - not bothered. Karl Latham tried every trick in the book to wriggle out of resolving. The clock repairer has since retired and we do not plan to replace him/her and because of COVID we are struggling as a business but they have taken the opportunity to revamp their premises. Not short of cash then. Ever likely taking money from customers and then not refunding for genuine reasons. P T Miles have even gone against Citizens Advice and basically do not give a t""s. You are lucky P T Miles that unfortunately, for me, I did not pay on my credit card otherwise I would be claiming back the £190.00 through Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act as your JOKE OF A SERVICE was indeed a con. For your information P T Miles, the REPUTABLE JEWELLER stated "that had I taken the clock to them and this had happened, irrespective of whether they had oiled it or not, they would have carried out a re-service for FREE". The moral of this story is DO NOT USE P T MILES FOR ANYTHING

I called in Saturday with my elderly mammy. The ladies in the shop not only were professional but very caring. Nothing was too much for them. Kind, considerate, loving and went the extra Mile. I will not go anywhere else again.
