I would highly recommend J Herbert Jewellers to all. I took in one of my bracelets to be fixed on Friday and they fixed it for me within about two minutes and free of charge - a very kind gesture. I also purchased two gold chains for pendants I already had and the staff were very kind, patient and informative in helping me decide which ones to buy, including trying them on. The cherry on top being that they then gave me a slight discount for buying too. Very happy customer - thank you J Herbert. I will, without doubt, be returning to you with any future jewellery needs.

A great find 16 years ago for our wedding rings this was our first visit so when it was my mums 80th I wanted to treat her to something special all of the staff are wonderful so helpful and patient and a good eye for detail .we purchased a pendent and required a longer chain for it which was easily chosen and the assistant picked up on the colour match of the gold .......a service that you should receive in all shops Please don't change x

They fixed my broken chain within just a couple of minutes at a very affordable price, very happy with their customer service too.

Bought our wedding rings here years ago and staff were friendly and helpful. On return visits to enquire about replating my engagement ring, staff were again helpful, gave good advice and prices quoted were very reasonable. The staff were nice to my kids, who are full of beans. They even offered to polish a silver ring I bought there for free whilst I was there. Still helpful even after all the lockdowns and challenges.

Absolutely first rate service here! Repaired the strap on my watch very quickly and was inexpensive! Really really impressed with the service and the price! EDIT: Just got my watch back - Absolutely perfect! You cannot tell that the piece they fitted wasn't part of the original watch! EDIT2: They have just replaced the other pin in my watch strap (someone else had fitted it) as it kept coming loose. This shop never ceases to impress me! They are so helpful and such amazing value! Thank you so much!

I was a bit nervous about going into a jewellers because I wanted to buy a ring and didn't know my size. The lady who served me was very kind and showed me different sizes to try on. It was a very positive experience. They had to resize the ring I chose, which was done very quickly and very well.
