I absolutely love this school both my boys attended this school and they still talk about it with fond memories.
I have been teaching an after school yoga class at the school for about 5 years. The children are polite and very respectful and the teachers and staff are wonderful. The head teacher is amazing and the children respect her.
This school does more than just educate children it helps them to become well rounded little people.

My eldest is in year 2 and youngest has just started. I am very happy I chose Oakdale school for my kids, the teachers are amazing, very approachable and always going out their way for the children. My daughter was the youngest when she started the school, she couldn't read or write words, but with the help of the teachers she is now doing amazing. Would definitely recommend this school!

My experiences of this school have been nothing but positive. My eldest, now at the Juniors, thrived both through his learning and attitude. My daughter is in Year 1 and is developing so well in all areas.
Children have opportunities to take on extra responsibilities such as being part of the School Council and Librarians. Christmas and summer concerts, and sports day are open to parents and siblings. Fundraising events and activities are varied and inclusive to appeal to both parents and children. Money raised has been spent on some fantastic activities and equipment for the children.
Parents have regular opportunities to provide feedback and feel involved. The school organises many parent workshops such as phonics, understanding how to support your child with their maths and reading.
I couldn't be happier that my children and I are part of this community.

We were looking for a nurturing school for our summer born twins and we found it here. The standard of teaching is high and the methods used adapted to the needs of the children. Now their autumn born sibling is progressing as quickly as he needs to. Between the three children, over the years, we have encountered teaching by many of the teachers in the school and they were all fantastic. The level of commitment by the teachers to the school and the children is amazing.

Both infants and Juniors are fabulous schools and the safety of the children is paramount. It is a welcoming and very community spirited school. It cares about the whole family not just the pupils. The staff are excellent and very approachable. I am proud that my children are part of this school

My son recently started at the nursery. He loves it and as a result so do I. He runs to school every morning and at end of every day he voluntarily hugs each of his teachers. Lovely little school!
