Just had my ears de-waxed at Liverpool hearing centre using micro suction. The process was carried out by Hannah who, was extremely professional and explained every stage in great detail. She also offered good advice when dealing with daily care of ears. I would have no hesitation in recommending Liverpool hearing centre to anyone contemplating private treatment of ear wax.

From almost complete hearing loss I can gear fully again after a micro-suction session with Liverpool Hearing Centre. Been aware of reduced Hearing, but then ear became fully blocked, almost no hearing in left ear. Saw Lindsey, who explained everything clearly, and then quickly and easily removed large wax blockages from both ears. No discomfort whatsoever. Hearing is is so much better, even in the “good” ear. It took over 2 years years to face up to my hearing difficulties, a combination of not feeling old enough at 55, male pride, it's probably wax etc. I was avoiding social situations, had stopped watching TV, and masks at work were a communication nightmare. Lynsey was amazing, I liked her wear and tear explanation, and she made the loss feel ok at my age. I've now got some really snazzy tiny in ear devices, and I feel like I am able to re-engage with life again. She was enormously patient, 4 visits and some adjustments to get it right. I was reluctant to get a hearing aid at first , male pride etc but recognised that my hearing was gradually deteriorating.Enter Anna at Liverpool Hearing Centre a superb professional audiologist who dealt with my concerns sensitively taking me through the process gradually and expertly. Friendly, caring staff. I was able to book an appointment for the next day after leaving a message and the receptionist getting back to me. I felt comfortable as Covid procedures were in place but they didn't get in the way of my treatment. I felt confident enough to book a return visit next month for further treatment.

Fantastic service from Liverpool Hearing.I rang for an appointment on Wednesday after suffering for two weeks with waxy ears .Was given an appointment for next week but just asked if there was any chance of a cancellation. The lady told me she would keep me in mind.Within 30mins she rang back and I went yesterday.Brilliant service when I attended in and within half an hour and it has brought me back into the world .So painless for such a gain to hear again.Can't thank them enough will definitely recommend them.Thank you.

I took my 84 year old father in law to Liverpool Hearing Centre today. Parked in the Cathedral car park a short distance away and we walked to the Centre. Zakki the audiologist and Fiona in reception were fabulous. For anyone with this affliction of having so much solid wax in the ears that you are stone deaf even with your hearing aids in, blaring feedback out, you will know how depressing it is to not feel included in the conversation or simply hear the birds sing in the morning. His ear appointment removed all the wax from both ears over 30 minutes, he said it was painless and totally non-intimidating. Following the appointment I couldn't shut him up on the way home in the car, his earing was back and he said it will take a couple of hours before it's really clear, but in his words "that was just the job!". Thank you Liverpool Hearing Centre!

Very professional set up and talk through microsuction process which provided an effective solution. An excellent service throughout. Had a very patient and sympathetic approach to my parents who had struggled with hearing issues for a while. My son had his ear wax removed by suction last year at Liverpool Hearing Centre and said it was much better than having them syringed with water. I went along today and can only agree. Everyone is really polite and friendly. You are able to see via a camera inside your ears before and after the wax is removed and I could hear so much better afterwards. Excellent from start to finish. My experience of the Liverpool Hearing Centre has been exceptional. From my initial enquiry, I was offered appointments to suit my working day, I found everyone I came into contact with attentive, engaged and above all patient. My enquiry was for wax removal, as my hearing had declined over the years. I was convinced that it would be wax that was causing the issue. David was the audiologist that carried out a full examination, which in its self would have been enough, however, having the opportunity to see exactly what he could see on a huge screen was fantastic. No longer was I convinced that there was something in the ear canal as I could see for myself, it was all clear. While this was fantastically reassuring, it quickly confirmed the obvious issue that it was my hearing that was deteriorating. David was extremely patient, offered advice and options and at the end of the consultation suggested a test drive of some amplification. The test drive was a revelation, having the option to see the difference it made to daily situations in the office, phone calls, restaurants, bars and social situations the difference was amazing and it gave me the clarity I had missed.The whole experience of the Liverpool Hearing Centre and David has been exceptional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I am using my husband's account as I do not have a Google account! Following a very unpleasant 'and only partially successful, N.H.S. ear irrigation for wax removal which required treatment for inflammation from my G.P. I was very apprehensive when I arrived for my appointment at the Liverpool Hearing Centre. I need not have worried. Everything was explained in a friendly,reassuring and professional way. My hearing was restored and checked and I went home very relieved. I have no hesitation in recommending the Hearing Centre,in fact I have already done so.

I have never had hearing aids in my life but recently realised that I really did need to do something about my hearing loss. I made appointments with three different private companies and all three were really helpful and professional. However if I was asked to rate the best company it would have to be Liverpool Hearing Centre. My appointment at LHC was with David Waterhouse and he delivered an excellent service. I knew nothing about hearing tests, hearing aids or the overall process but David was brilliant at explaining how each part of the journey would work. At no time did I feel any pressure to buy a product as the main objective in David's mind was to resolve my hearing problem. Once that problem was resolved then a hearing aid solution could then be dealt with. So thank you David and LHC for a very professional service. Also the other members of the team were extremely friendly and helpful. In a nutshell I would have no hesitation in recommending LHC to either a new or experienced user of hearing aids. My husband had been in pain for days with earache following a particularly bad bout of flu, to the point he could no longer eat due to the pain. I contacted the Hearing Centre and got an appointment for the following day. The appointment was Covid secure and he was in and out in no more than 15 minutes. After being in discomfort with a blocked ear for some time and then being told by my doctor there was a 4 week wait for my ears to be syringed. I decided to look into other options. I read up on microsuction and within hours had an appointment booked for the next day at Liverpool hearing centre. The procedure started with a microscope camera in my ears to show me the issue and then the microsuction. The procedure was painless but because of the build up in my ear an extra tool was needed. After a very short time, The ear was cleared and I was off on my way. The whole experience was quick, painless and all staff were highly professional, friendly and reassuring. Hi , my name is Mike Foley and up til a few months back i had never had any hearing problems. Whilst out with friends awhile back i realised i was missing some conversation going on from my right side.After getting an appointment with the practice nurse at my medical centre , she identified the problem as a build up of wax in my right ear. There was a 4 week wait to have the problem dealt with on the nhs. Tinitus developed and i decided that i wasn,t prepared to wait for 4 weeks, so i got in touch with the Liverpool Hearing Centre and was given an appointment within 48 hrs. Seen Dave [ one of the consultants], and he did the micro suction and a warm soapy ear wash-it was totally painless and all the wax was removed. he also checked my left ear which was fine . Then a hearing test was carried out, and advice was given, all for £50. Cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.
