I recently did my first ever clinical trial trial at HMR and my experience has been fantastic throughout.
I registered my interest, was contacted the following day and was booked in for screening the day after. The next week I was starting my trial. The whole screening process was excellent- speedy, thorough and with enough information for me to feel comfortable and at ease throughout.
My stay on the ward was comfortable, unexpectedly peaceful and an all round good experience. I was on a ward with a couple other people and we had free use of the coffee/tea facilities and canteen which was great. I could crack on with my work throughout the day and I honestly enjoyed my stay very much. The food was also great which was a pleasant surprise and a massive plus!!
The staff were always polite, accommodating and professional. They catered carefully to our needs and every outpatient appointment since has been well organized and without any problems. Payment has also been prompt.
Thank you HMR, I will be sure to return in the future!

I have done two clinical trials so far (currently doing the second one). The staff, nurses, and doctors are really friendly and caring. The food is great especially being a vegetarian.
Of course, sometimes staff get confused when you need some special attention for something, but after reminding once, or twice, the issue always gets resolved. I think the people are genuinely good and I was compensated fairly for my time. I obviously wish it was a little more given that some other clinics offer more. However, they have always been very accommodating and patient when I was trying to get all my papers (medical record, visa, right to work, etc.) and get my schedule right for the outpatient visits given that I am now working full-time. :-)
TLDR: They’re great. I highly recommend but expect to have your own initiative when providing documents.

I did my first trial last weekend here, the staff were professional, fun and informative. I stayed for two days and one night, the food was surprisingly nice (I was expecting hospital food).
The ward was nice and spacious, due to covid they spaced us out with a bed in between all of us. There were plenty available sockets for all of the electronics you bring with you.
I met some really interesting people who were on the same trial, they made the stay so much easier and made time pass quicker. In my haste to leave I forgot to give out my contact information, I emailed HMR to get them to pass it on, but they said due to GDPR they were unable, which is a shame!

It saved my life.
I've done several trials with them over the years and every one was a well worth doing experence, and sometimes even fun. I made some friends, and got a lot of productive work done on each trial. But most importantly, I came in for a trial which requied an MRI brain scan, and they descovereed a cancerous tumour which I had no symtoms of. I was 30 at the time, and am currently 32 fit and healthy and have finished my final cycle of chemotheropy, with no signs of tumour growth.

I have recently completed a clinical trial with HMR. It was my first ever trial anywhere and I can honestly say it was a very pleasant, positive experience. I was extremely well looked after. Nurses, doctors and all other staff were very caring, friendly, helpful and explained everything well. Food was lovely and wards, facilities etc. very clean. As an added bonus payment was really prompt. Thank you to all involved and hope to see you again in a few months.

Well done to the staff, or vast majority anyway, who made my 2 week stay more enjoyable.

I have done medical trials twice here.
Very nice facility. Very organized, clean, friendly, and international environment. Not only that, the people who have trial here are very respectful and nice too. I was very lucky to make good friends here. But they poked my arms at least three times when you visit as out patient because sometimes they missed my vain.

I recently completed a clinical trial at HMR. Still healthy and in demand at aged 80? During a prelim medical exam one the Doctors didn't like the look of a spot on my back and advised me to see my GP on completion of the trial. This I did and have just had a potentially malignant melanoma removed. Thank you Doctor M.D. If thinking of taking part in a trial at HMR, do not hesitate. They are wonderful people.

Was on a trial about an year ago. Stayed in ward for 5 days. The ward was clean, warm enough, it was a big ward divided by part walls to sub-wards. In our sub-ward we were 5 of us, the rest of the ward was mainly empty, so no so many people overall.
There was plenty of entertainment, I had my own laptop, the WiFi was good enough (in not watching movies, but the rest didn't complain its lagging)there were room with books and dvds I think as well.
Toilet and shower facilities were very clean.
The food was ok and even good some times. The coffee was awful, and as I love my coffee that why 4 stars not 5. The staff was friendly and helpful. I left the ward a bit tired as I dont use to wake up at 7 but that's the time they starting taking morning blood samples.
Overall happy with the experience. Got paid on time and the right amount.
If they have something suitable will do it with them again.

Top class doctors and senior nurses.
Only minus is selection of newspapers: Sun, Daily Mail, Gurdian ...
Food is alright and there is decaf coffee for anyone craving for real stuff.
On plus side some japanese manga and plasytation 4, interesting people ... a lot of travellers or people coming to refill coffers after oversees travels, enterpreneurs, miliatry and part-timers ...

Its a good trial to stay on and theres a lots of things to do. They have a ps3 and 4 if you are a gamer bring some of your own games too. Lots of books and movies to chose from and they have netflix. The staff were nice and friendly and the food was quite good. I would definitely go again if i was able to.
