We had our wood burning stove installed in July & we are really happy with the results. From the first visit to the shop to having the fire fitted was seamless, we received lots of help & advice as we were unsure if the false chimney breast would be too big for our room. Installation date 24/11/2020 - Fantastic service throughout. Matt listened to what we wanted and our budget. No pressure selling. We had the Clock 5kw Blithfield multifuel stove, red brick chamber with side returns, black slate hearth and Geocast beam with lights. Could not fault the workmanship. Very hard working and good at what they do. No mess left behind and completed quicker than expected. We have used the stove everyday since install, even doing jacket potatoes in a cast iron cooker! Just in time for Christmas. It's so cosy, we love it!!!

We had wanted a wood burning stove for a long time and decided to take the plunge. We visited Kimberley Fireplaces and from the outset they could not had been more helpful, we booked a home visit for the following week. Upon arriving they put us at ease and explained how everything would happen and our options. We decided to proceed and we have not been disappointed. They turned up on the date we agreed and on time, the lads were very clean and tidy. The fireplace looks lovely and the finish is so much better than we expected, all we need to do is add paint which is what they told us from the start. Very happy indeed and glad we went local! Just had a new stove fitted by the team and it looks amazing. Can’t thank Matt and the rest of the team enough. I had already sourced the surround when I contacted Kimberley Fireplaces and Matt talked me through what was achievable and would look right for the room. Was hard to imagine at the time but we are so happy with how it turned out. We did the opening and fixed the surround on ourselves and the hearth was ready for us to collect ahead of time and the team did the fit as soon as they could. Understandable fitting delays due to Covid and a minor mix up with the wrong size stove being fitted but they were straight out the next morning to replace it. Couldn’t fault the service and absolutely love our new stove. Thank you!

Matt and his men came to my home a few weeks ago and fitted a small stove in my room, I live with my son and the last couple of winters have been just two cold for me even with central heating, so we decided to have a good quality but cost effective stove fitted. The results are very good, a neat tidy job on finishing, in a day, with no mess. I've tried it and can honestly say it's much warmer than the central heating, and looks cosy in the room. My son was impressed, in fact he ordered another bigger stove in the main living roomfitted this week. It's much bigger than mine and cost a fair bit more, but my son says it's one of the best rated stoves on the market and it looks beautiful. He has had a brick fireplace built with a huge wooden beam, bigger than usual, and a plastered chimney breast created above the old brick bottom piece. My son told me to say Matt came on a Sunday and removed his old gas fireplace and surround at no charge. He came back Monday the next day and started on the new fireplace (it took three and a half days), and he is absolutely amazed by the results and it's changed the whole "vibe" he says of the house. I saw that Matt and his men got on really well with each other and with us, and it honestly was a delight to have them around. The place doesn't seem the same now without them here. Punctual, tidy, nice people with a really big talent in making and fitting stoves and fireplaces.You just won't find better. My son is particular and has eye for detail and he says he has not been able to fault a thing and that the work and stoves are worth every penny. He says he knew Matt was the right man for the job because he had heard on the grapevine he was really good and he liked the way he told him clearly all the way what he was going to do or if he had any different ideas. Mys son even went to the yard and picked the reclaimed bricks he liked. MY son says its better than he had hoped for, cant find fault, he doesn't often say that ! Thank you very very much Kimberley Stoves, I hope people read this and use you !

My fabulous log burner has just been installed and we are now enjoying our first fire and a prosecco! The team went above and beyond to get me a quick date in the diary so we could have the fire for the winter. They were also by far the most reasonably priced! From my initial inquiry, through to installation, Kimberley Fireplaces have made the whole process so easy. After an initial email exchange, the owner came out to take a look at what needed doing, gave us an idea of price on the spot and then went away leaving us with a brochure or two. The following day I received an official quote via email and we simply arranged a date for the install to happen. Today, the fitters turned up on time and the work was completed quickly but also, with minimum of mess. They capped the gas supply off, removed all of the waste and bagged it up, the job lot! The two guys were really knowledgeable and once finished gave us plenty of advise and tips about how best to both operate and clean the entire installation including the log burner, Limestone surround etc. 10/10 all round!

Kimberley Fireplaces were sub-contracted to fit a new flue and fire into our property by another shop we approached having decided the cheapo one the previous owner installed was next to useless. The original firm (I forget who now in honesty) did the assessment and quote but were too busy so handed this over to Matt & team to perform the actual install in early September 2016. On arrival though the job was a bit more complicated than expected, with Matt voicing concerns over the chimney that needed some bricks removing internally to fit the new 6 inch flue (prev 5 inch) and worried about it being unstable. Having had the exterior of the chimney re-done in brick tiles and an untreated railway sleeper added as a new lintel any major work was off the cards unless absolutely necessary. After both agreeing that he would press on and stop should he feel it not structurally sound and a builder brought in to resolve, Matt successfully managed to fit the new flue and then the rest of the fire despite the initial concerns. Though it did need some more bends in to fit all was done nicely, the fire looks and performs great with all aspects looking good and all signed off with the HETAS forms successfully received. I’m confident from watching Matt and his colleague work that the job was done with an eye for detail and not cutting corners and should be a warm, safe and attractive feature to our home. Our little Whippet loves baking herself infront of it so a definite fan of the work too! I’ve already ear marked Matt & team to return for maintenance and cleaning a year from now in my calendar and I’d certainly recommend him to others. _____ This review is part of a string of factual and fair reviews I’m now leaving for those who we've had help on our house over the last 2 years since moving in finally having some free time to write something up. I’m trying to provide the same kind of comment as I would speaking to family/friends/colleagues.
