He and James have been meticulous in making sure the finish exceeded all expectations and we are thrilled with the end result. Glen and his guys did an amazing job to revamp our back garden. They removed old fencing amazingly efficiently- especially considering the amount of concrete that needed digging out! Really pleased with the way Glen, James and Rob transformed our garden - taking out a massive hedge allowing for a much more practical space with hard landscaping, new fencing and relaying of existing “fake” lawn. Deciding to undertake a total garden transformation is a big step and choosing somebody good, honest and reliable is a very difficult game of chance. I can tell you with total honesty that it has been nothing but a joy to have Glen, James and Bobby working for us for eight weeks on what turned into a very big job and the results are beyond all of our expectations. There were challenges as the work evolved but always a solution…and quickly. Never once did we have to chase progress, to wait for them to turn up, listen to loud pop music nor be deafened by mobiles going off…they all worked hard, fast and beautifully. Best of all is the quality that they bring to every step…our paving is smoother than our (brand new) kitchen floor and is just lovely to walk on. At night, the lighting and our water feature makes the garden a special place. I leave the best bit to last…we started the idea full of apprehension as I hate employing anybody…but we ended the job with three new friends and I am sincerely pleased to recommend G White Landscaping and that means Glen, James and Bobby….you could not have done it better.

Glen and his team did a fantastic job of our garden makeover. It was a small space with complex needs, he sorted out drainage, dug out our old multi level patio, installed new steps, levelled out a new patio and laid lovely porcelain tiles, and made us some lovely fencing. He was very conscientious, working around neighbours and fitting in with our family life. A lovely bunch of guys who we trusted completely. I would have them back for any other relevant project and would thoroughly recommend.

I asked Glen to build me a new doorstep. A semi-circular step made of limestone and bricks. The result is a robust and aesthetically pleasing new doorstep that matches my new grey front door. Glen and his partner were prompt, punctual and polite. He communicated well with me throughout the built process. The cost was reasonable and fair. I am impressed by his high standard of work. What can I say ? I asked Glen to lay a patio area to take a 14x8 shed at my father-in-laws property which was a very tight fit on an awkward plot. He visited to view the job and immediately impressed my 89 year old father-in-law and promptly provided three quotes for a stone finish, concrete pavers or a plain concrete slab on a plot with only wheelbarrow access. He very kindly re-arranged his schedule to fit this job in as I needed it completing urgently. Glen and his two staff Reg & Jordan arrived exactly as promised, working in terrible rain to excavate the site and were happy to redistribute the top soil around the garden. The following morning, again in bad weather they laid the slab, happy to make a plan work for a very tight area, and left a clean and tidy work area and footpaths despite the weather ! Glen is a young, enthusiastic and very professional landscape gardener who I will happily use for other jobs and will recommend to anyone else who is looking for a quality job done. Thank you Glen, Reg and Jordan for all your hard work and for fitting us in at short notice !

I can't understand how Glen has a flawless 5 star rating. The scores accurately reflect his work but they do not reflect his attitude at all. He quoted me a figure for work to be done on my garden and I asked if he can reduce it a little bit and he agreed. Little did I know I'd have to put up with 3 weeks of moaning that he isn't making much money from the job and I'm not high on his priority list and then dropping some extra costs on me last minute and when I questioned it he would shout at me over the phone and hang up in my face. He tried to impose what he wanted to do in the garden rather than following my instructions to save time and money for himself as I quote "there isn't much money in this job for me". This shows that he values money over customer service and I was not asking for anything crazy and nowhere near the levels of work he shows on his Instagram page. Both my partner and I were shocked at how dramatic he was about things. Not to mention he left a whole bunch of stuff at my house that he didn't bother collecting when he said he would. I give him 1 star out of 5 for professionalism and 4 stars for the work. Had he been a more upstanding and professional gentleman then this would have been a 5 star rating. Sorry Glen.

If I could give Glen and his team 10+ stars I would! Firstly, I’d like to say a heartfelt thank you for all your hard work, effort, advice and transforming my garden... it looks AMAZING, literally a dream come true!! I find myself staring at the garden, overwhelmed by how it has turned out, I can not wait for sunnier days. Each stage of the work honestly exceeded my expectations! I would 100% recommend Glen and his team without hesitation! We needed somebody to carry out a big job and it was really important to me as I have waited nearly 8 years to get my garden revamped. Glen was my middle quote, I chose him as he listened, asked lots of questions, answered lots of questions, gave great suggestions and even said “hmm let me have a think about how we can tie it together and I will get back to you”. He always had a realistic view that we might be able to do a bit better, which I found refreshing, a breath of fresh air. Glen really got the vision - without photos!! I found Glen on Instagram and his work was of a very high standard. We booked him in for January. He removed our old garage and six trees, put up 28 fence panels with concrete bases & posts. Put down a shed base, layed a patio area, built a Pagola , layed a new path, puts sleepers and steps in, Venetian cladded over some hideous walls, built a massive gate, created a space for our car and removed all waste. Nothing about any of those jobs was a breeze due to the neighbours eight bee hives, wasp nests, our green house being directly under the trees that needed removing, uneven and slopped/ staggered grounds, slightly off shaped garden and windy wet weather - and a bad decision by me! We hit a bump mid project where I got really nervous as I had been blinded by my vision (Pinterest is not always your friend!) and did not really hear Glen and his team’s advice. He seemed unsure about building what I wanted due to the height and explained his reasons but I was confident. It turned out I was very wrong not to have listened. I was kicking myself as I knew Glen and his team had worked so hard to make it work and I then wanted it changed/ removed. I was nervous of the impact this would have on the project and the possible confrontation of “I told you so”. Glen made himself available on the weekend for a chat and he was outstandingly professional to my relief!! Glen and his team worked so hard, Its easy to underestimate the effort, problem solving and preparation that went into (what would appear to be) the smallest of jobs, you guys have done such an amazing job- I’m so proud of my new garden! Thank you for everything, thank you for being so respectful of my home and belongings, chatting to my inquisitive children, leaving everything as you found it. I am so so happy. It’s a shame you guys don’t fit kitchens and bathrooms as I would’ve hired you for those too! Thanks a million!! ❤️

He is knowledgeable and helpful, works with you and strives for a good quality finish at a very reasonable cost. We had a really awkward slope in our garden and weren't sure how to make it a more usable space. Glen had plenty of ideas and we settled on raising the level and increasing the patio area with steps and a path to the lower section, including an edged border. Glen and his team did a great job as you can see from the pics. We are delighted with the results and the quality of the work is outstanding. He even installed the trellis and turned our rabbit hutch for us! The lawn was laid during a really hot/dry spell and Glen provided excellent after care service, checking in with us to ensure the lawn had taken. Just need to get on with some planting now!
