M. D.Will and his team transformed our garden and we are very pleased with the result. From first quote to completion Will set everything very clearly, was excellent at keeping us informed around delays in the start date and completed the job to our satisfaction. His pricing was very transparent and honest. There was one particular change to our plans which he costed for at one price, however it turned out to involve fewer hours and Will told us and reduced the cost accordingly. He, and the team of Mark, Tony and Sam were very hardworking and respectful of our property. We had a few quotes from landscapers before choosing New Leaf. The others had all told us that our crumbling, leaning back and side walls were fine. I suspect they didn't want to take the challenge on! However Will did take it on and rebuilt the original walls which are now beautiful. An indication of the quality of the work of New Leaf is that during their time at our house 2 of our neighbours asked them to quote for work at their houses.

New Leaf replaced our drive (part cobbles, part golden flint), created a border, installed new gulley pots that connected to existing drains and carried out work to tidy up the adjacent areas.
Communication with Will was excellent from the start with a detailed quote and an accurate estimated time for when he could carry out the work and its duration. Will and Mark were 100% reliable, starting on time and often working long hours in order to complete work quickly to minimise the time that our drive was muddy and messy. They always left the site as clean as possible with any new work (e.g. newly laid cobbles) well protected. The quality of the work was first class with real attention to detail, a high specification and absolutely no corners cut. There was consultation throughout the job to ensure that we were happy with what was being done. They were very accommodating of our requests for minor changes as we went along and their absolute priority was to complete the job to the highest possible standard and for us to be happy with it. We were delighted with the finished product.
I would recommend New Leaf without reservation.

Will and Mark have just completed another job for us: the construction of a 2m high wall of reclaimed red brick and extending an existing pennant stone patio that required a small retaining wall and a wide step to be built due to sloping ground. We live in a Victorian house and I wanted it to match the existing patio’s traditional, completely random pattern. The end result is perfect: it’s impossible to see where the old patio ends and the new part begins. The wall looks as if it's always been there.
As previously, the quality of the work is excellent. The preparation for the base of the patio was meticulous and they took great care to consult throughout to ensure that the outcome was exactly what I wanted. The site was kept clean and tidy which resulted in minimum disruption for us. They are completely reliable and trustworthy, hard-working, pleasant and unobtrusive. The quotation and final invoice were very detailed. Their work is faultless.

The garden job itself is amazing especially considering a lot of the ideas we left to them with us 'just wanting it to look nice'... Somehow they were able to almost mind read and give us exactly what we wanted and more. They gave us lots of options along the way to help us get it just how we had imagined. The finished job looks fantastic and they were very professional and more than honest from start to finish.

Will is very competent at listening to exactly what you want from your garden and converting that into a design that is within your budget. During the 2 jobs that they did for us, they encountered an endless list of problems, including difficulty with access to unload goods, terrible weather and very poor drainage in the back garden. They found cost effective solutions to all of these problems. The end result is a garden we love, and is exactly what we asked for. If I could give Will and Marc more than 5/5 then i would.
