Lovely little garden centre. Very friendly staff. A good selection of interesting plants. The tea room is very pleasant and comfortable, a great place to grab some food before you browse the plants. The garden area is nice and would be a lovely place for summer meetings with friends. The bathrooms were very clean which is a good sign for anywhere you are planning to eat!

Always have a lovely time at Calders Great prompt staff friendly service. Food is lovely, and well presented Beautiful just now with Christmas Decorations. Today visited, Whrn greated on arrival, just one little thing, felt not happy with. Staff member at tearoom...Coughing into hands, not sanitizing, and lifting menus, and escorting us to table for two. That is cross infection Its important personal hygiene, especially with time of year and various viruses I'm.a Care Professional of many years Other than that, were happy with my visit. Went there for lunch with my wife and elderly disabled mother who was in a wheelchair. Staff were very helpful and welcoming, found us a nice table by the window. Plenty of room between tables for the wheelchair, everything nice and clean. Food was really nice, didn't take long to serve up and reasonably priced. With gardens and walks around the garden centre, can easily spend a few hours there in nice surroundings, well worth a visit. Just a quick update after visiting again, still a very nice place to visit for lunch or a coffee and loads of colour now with everything blooming.

Just want to say thank you for such great friendly service when we visited as a family party of 19. Staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make a family reunion fantastic! Food was delicious too. Can’t recommend enough.

I enjoyed the restruant with its great selection of food, pleasant and attentive staff, good covid measures in place also good carparking and easy access. Do not forget the wide range of stock in the garden centre. Christmas stock was going on display, a great all round Caulders.

Great shop indoors, lots of variety. Kitchenware, household goods, outdoor clothing, gifts and fancy goods as well as gardening paraphernalia at reasonably competitive prices. It's my second visit to the place, and both times a lot of the plants and trees for sale outside are half dead, uncared for, unwatered.Today, half the apple trees and other saplings were laying on their sides bone dry and staff were just walking past ignoring it. For such a great shop inside, this really was a let down.

Very accommodating staff, we were given a table despite not having a booking. Had to vacate table in 45mins so it was perfect timing to have a light lunch. Service was quick & efficient. Great cakes 🍰😋

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea this afternoon. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and plenty of it. We had a lovely afternoon with staff regularly checking that everything was okay and offering refills of hot drinks. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and absolutely amazing value for money. We couldn't finish the food and staff boxed up the leftovers for us to take away. Although it was a wet and windy day it was still lovely looking out on the beautiful autumn colours of mugdock park.

This is a pleasant place to meet friends for a walk and then enjoy the lovely coffee, cakes and light meals available. Best to leave time to explore the plants and the shop, where you can buy things you didn't know you needed - and some excellent items that you really do need.

The restaurant is charming with delightful home-baked goods and delectable hot food. The Christmas gift shop has a vast array of beautiful seasonal fare, and only the sniffy, dour-faced woman serving spoiled the ambience. Twice I gave her the opportunity to say "please" and twice she failed to do so. Would have been a four or five-star review without the unpleasant service. Shame.

Pleasant little garden centre at Mugdock Country Park. It’s quite a small garden centre, with quite a large cafe area at the back. It looks like part of it is in some old cottages, with the rest built behind. A good range of different garden items - the usual things you’d expect in a garden centre.

I must apologise to Debs at Caulders, in error my review had logged only 1 star. My partner and I are at the Restaurant last Sunday, I was very pleased that my HD dietary requirements were easily met and received one of the nicest baked potatoes eaten in a long time. My partner enjoyed her choice also. Great Service, good choice and well presented. The park was nice also but our time was limited to fully enjoy it.
