No gimmicky cafe here.. this is a proper garden nursery and one of the best you will ever come across! Experienced, knowledgeable and extremely helpful staff. Much of the stock is grown and nurtured on site and all trees, shrubs and plants are of excellent quality! We have purchased many, many items from here and have never been disappointed in either condition or price (prices are "more than" competitive and especially so given their size and quality)! Happily recommend!

The lady assisted us really gave us all the information we needed as myself and my husband are not normally gardeners. We bought spiky shrubs. We will be coming back to this nurserie for more plants and will be buying flowers next time, and all the flowers are beautiful. Could get lost for hours looking at everything. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and are very helpful thank you plus would definitely recommend this nurserie. Very good prices

Didn't even know this place existed until I looked on Google!! Lovely place to get various pot and bedding plants, topsoil and a small selection of garden ornaments. Quite reasonable prices too!! And not forgetting the two cats that you'll find either wandering around or asleep in between the plants!!

Staff at Sandy Lane Nurseries could not have been more helpful. Purchasing a tree over the phone could not have been easier. The staff are prepared to go the ’extra mile’ and are very willing to answer any questions you may have. They delivered to my elderly mother’s house and carried the tree to her preferred spot. The staff were all extremely pleasant, nothing being too much trouble. I will certainly be using them again and would recommend Sandy Lane Nurseries to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic. A big thank you to Mark and Jackie for their help and advice trying to create a Mediterranean style garden. Beautiful shrubs, plants and trees, exceptional condition. Spent 3 hrs sorting out required plants etc in the morning, then unbelievable Mervyn delivered them all that same afternoon. Professional, helpful and delightful people, cannot thank them all enough. Already reccommended to family and all our friends.

Love having a browse around the plants at Sandy Lane. Baskets are amazing. Always reasonable prices & a good selection. Real down to earth people selling good quality items & horticulturally know their stuff.

Went here with my mum who has a pushalong wheelchair. Access was quite good with wide aisles and concrete paths and the option to park beside the glass houses where the plants are kept. It was clear they are a plant nursery and growers and not a garden centre. Plants and pots were reasonably priced and they were recycling and aware of environmental factors. Lovely people who were knowledgeable about plants and growing and liked talking about plants. This made it more than a shopping trip for my mum who was on her first trip out of the house since lockdown in March. We will certainly return.

My friend Pauline told me about this lovely nursery small but compact . Best thing is the staff . They are great really helpful and can answer the questions were you need to know how where and when plants need care. Will defo go again . Would be lovely to coffee shop when things settle down x
