A small garden centre, but with a really lovely range of plants, pots, tools and accessories. They pack a surprising amount into their footprint and in December I was pleased to find they were still selling a lovely range of bedding plants and hadn't turned into a Christmas tree sales point.

This is no impersonal garden superstore, where you can idly trundle up aisles of garden goodies dropping needed and unneeded items into your pallet-sized mega-trolley. It's a small, family-run business, where the emphasis is on service, which is always well-pitched - enough to satisfy curiosity, without overburdening - and still affords you the freedom to browse and dream. A Covid-safe payment station is set up outside, to avoid crowding in the modest interior store space. All in all, an invaluable local resource.

This is a fantastic independent garden centre. Beautifully laid out to make the most of limited space. The staff, particularly Clare, are extremely knowledgeable and approachable. They sharpen tools as well. Highly recommended.

Open ! Telephone orders / collection by gates 10-4pm Wed-Sun. Finally we can start our lock down planting. Just been today. Still not a huge stock, will be coming more soon, managed to buy 2 drapping Rosemary plants for my hanging basket. Bring your own bag. Or car as they have sacks of compost!!! Unique family run garden center. I have been coming here for 30 years. Good quality and variety of healthy plants. Knowledgeable guys and girls. It's their business. I find (by experience) their advice and plants are of better quality, so will survive year after year. I have of course bought supermarket plants but none survived. Today after a good 6 years since moved jobs to an opposite direction I returned. Glad to say The owner recognised me. That was good. They sell seeds, perennials, and quick flowering plants. Spring and summer they are open. Winter days please check their website for opening hours or days

Always love a trip to this garden centre - it's a little oasis of calm, tucked under a railway bridge. Friendly staff who give you helpful tips and great selection of indoor plants (as well as outdoor). Not as fancy as, say, West Dulwich garden centre, or as much stock as Nunhead, but feels more down to earth and friendly.

Fits a pretty impressive amount of greenery into not that big a space. Good quality plants (nothing I've got from there has died when I got it home), with a good range generally (classics and some more interesting plants), and is probably the best locally. They also do a very reasonable delivery service, so good if you're on public transport.

I went there to get some ideas as im a newbie gardener and i met this lady,she took the time to tell me so much.i purchase some green beans abd broadbeans baby plants and all the thigs i needed .i just assume i go home n drop them in the ground.she explain to me how to plant them n bamboo to put in the ground she draw me a diagram which i thaugt at the time instruction was simple so i wouldnt need it was i wro. Now my kitchen is full of little baby stuff i purchased lol.talk about inspiration.i went back last week to get more stuff not even sure where they gonna go.but i need to go back for extra bit.its not a very big place but its friendly the staff is very helpfull and by the time i leave i feel like a expert they are amazing i will always go back there.amazing friendly little team.i will be coming tomorrow for my final extra just want to get them for when im ready
