Wow - the food here is fresh and well seasoned. Stopping by before hitting the A12 to gather some late night food, and expecting the typical so-so attempt. This stuff is really restaurant quality - chicken is blanched before being added to the sauce as it should be, rather than cooking it straight off like so many places do. Really good selection of food and a good amount of chilli added to give some warmth. The szechuan chicken is delicious with the special fried rice and the curry has a really nice balance of fillings and consistency (ie not just packed with onions). Give it a try

I ordered salt and pepper wings, honey ribs, chips, chicken chow mein, and prawn ho fan. The mains were really nice and decent generous portions. The wings were OK too. The ribs.. well, looked like someone sent marinated bones, no meat. The crops were also undercooked.

The food was amazing and cooked so good and the food was estimated to come at half 11 in came and 10 past 11 So I was well happy but it was so nice and the delivery driver was so polite but thanks for the food it was delious x😊

We have ordered from hackney garden quite a few times and it's been really nice the curry can be hot at times but the chicken chow mien is lovely egg fried rice good chips are nice sweet & sour chicken balls are good we did order the lamb ribs rather tuff sweet sour breaded chicken nice we will keep ordering as its enjoyable food
